I came here once after my kickboxing class with some girlfriends. It was really late and our usual spots were already closed so the diner it was. We were extremely hungry since we just burned over 800 calories in our class. I wasn’t really impressed with the service or the food. It’s diner food so it can be a hit or a miss in some places. I’m not saying I it was so horrible I didn’t eat what I ordered; I did clean my plate but then again I did just come from a serious workout. It’s an old school diner that have their old time regulars come it. Some old timers were yelling at each other for a good few mins and no one stopped them. They seemed like regulars maybe and just want to argue with each other. Some entertainment while you wait for your food to be prepared. The food came out quickly and was a very large portion. If you’re in the neighborhood really late and hungry this is the only place you’ll find open for some grub; I give you a star for that. If the food had more flavor I would be more of a fan. I’ll give them another shot, maybe when I came the chef was having a bad night.

Just left their about one hour ago and watched cavs beat the Warriors for Championship. I order open beef sirloin sandwich with fries and creamed corn, and thr best barley mushroom soup i ever had. Coffee was good had two cups. And then i had carrot cake was good had better but cant complain. Past this place for two decades and finally stopped. Waiter was very good. Beef Sirloin was delicious. Cream of corn good. Will go back. Four stars cause cake was just good.

Looking at the rating, this place deserves an «Okay» rating. I say either Unilocal using extortion to get this place into business or people who come here are not sober. I attended this business around 3 am and had no issues no whatsoever. It is a diner that serves typical diner menu, prices and food quality. No issue with cleanliness, service(staff appears in rush true). The only issue was employees themselves seemed unprofessional yelling at each other while customers are present, talking down on costumes who just left. I paid 6.50 for two any style eggs, two rye toast w/butter and jelly, home fried potatoes. I haven’t tried anything else yet such as sandwiches or pancakes/waffles, may try tomorrow and make another judgement so far though, easy 3 stars. Cheers Unilocalers

I initially love this place for its no nonsense name and it’s «obvious-big-neon-sign-off-the-highway“ness. otherwise it’s a typical small Diner with swivel stools and cake displays. it also has window booths with a slick and personally meditative view of queens blvd as you wait for your physical or mental self to repair. If i still lived nearby I think I would walk in every morning to my own Seinfeld bassline and have muffin or a coffee(or both). I would look out that window and until my head stopped hurting or I feel that I’m getting melodramatic and that I have to get to my the office or go to the gym, buy groceries etc… If you’re sobering up or stranded and have at least $ 15.00 its worth kicking back at the T Bone.

For the love of god don’t go here. I went with my aunt because it was late and she was hungry. I didn’t know it was a 24 hour diner, and when the waiter came up to us and spoke with us, he seemed rushed so I thought the store was about to close. Came up to us multiple times like 5 minutes after we were seated and still looking at the menu for something cheap because to be honest all of it was ridiculously overpriced. We got complimentary pita chips and beets as appetizers which was disgusting and worse than eating cardboard. We ordered a side salad but he gave us the full size one so we had to pay 8 bucks for his mistake. You will get food poisoning eating here. No clue how this place is still in business and not shut down. The chicken in our panini was raw and hard inside, I first noticed trying to bite it. My aunt also complained it had zero flavor or seasoning. Like someone just threw raw chicken on a grill with no spices not even salt. And they burnt the outside and the inside was raw and hard and pink. The woman at the front is rude too. Don’t go here evenif you’re desperate, you might end up paying the price with food poisoning later.

Ordering based on the description of an item online is a confusing thing for the Tbone Diner. Enough said.

Recently, went there with masochist friend who wanted to go. Hadn’t been there in over 15 yrs. Surprising at 1st to see the place empty @ dinner hour with hot films @ near Midway to boot. Then discovered why it’s empty… they raised their prices to a VERY unreasonable rate. Then when we received the food the value became even worse. Lame, small & thin burgers and horrid school cafeteria style onion rings. I wouldn’t return for a comped meal. ISIS probably cooks better and it won’t cost you and arm and a leg… just your head. Try the nearby Austin Diner… tad dreary but far better food. Real onion rings!

This place is DIRTY(and overpriced for the quality). Save your dignity and money. Enough said. At first, we were seated in the back area and had to move because it smelled like human pee. I looked around to see if it could have been an elderly person, but there was only one, young man in the section with us. It was putrid… it smelled like a dirty, old man diaper. We moved to the front area. The front area was equally as gross. The floor was so greasy and slippery, I could slide across it like Elvis Presley. The water cups had a weird stench to them. And my boyfriend’s silverware was dirty with dried food. At this point, I was about to vomit. I looked closer at everything… and the place is just so greased up… it looks like a bottle of L.A. Looks super strength hair gel. Just gross!!! We ordered breakfast, could barely eat, paid our overpriced tab, and left. Never again, man.

After a long day of playing board games nearby, some friends and I just wanted to grab some grub and quickly go back to our game. It was a weekend night and the place was pretty empty. After reading the Unilocal reviews, I was pretty scared of what I was getting myself into. However, a few of my friends have been here before and they said that it’s not as bad as it seems. They were right. I actually enjoyed my meal but my boyfriend, not so much. I ordered a grilled chicken panini with a side of fries and my boyfriend ordered an omelet with a side of home fries. The food came relatively quick. I took a bite into my panini and the chicken breast filets were actually pretty moist. The fries were standard. On the other hand, the omelet was pretty bland. The home fries were even blander. I could not eat it without dousing some salt and the whole thing of pepper on the omelet dish. However, the portion for the price was pretty huge. I was only able to eat 2⁄3 of my panini before I called it quits. In all, I enjoyed my experience at T Bone Diner. We were able to get in and out fairly quickly and leaving with our stomachs full. The service was also really friendly and they made sure our glasses were filled. While I probably won’t come here again, it is not a bad place to get food fast(especially since they’re open all throughout the night).

Came here Christmas Eve since there weren’t any other places open. Waiter was rude at first but then lightened up. He came twice in 3 minutes to ask us if we were ready. Turns out we had arrived within minutes of the waiter’s shift ending, which explains why he was rude and upset. I ordered the chicken gyro which had these thin cardboard-like slabs of(chicken??) in the pita bread. I thought it was a joke. My girl friend had some pasta, I think it was the carbonara. I ate simply because I was very hungry and my previous plans had fallen through. I will be very reluctant to come back here again.

The only good thing about this diner is breakfast 24⁄7 and their lemonade. The people who answer phones and take the orders are rude individuals.

I should have definitely listened to the reviews before ordering from these guys. What a horrible experience. I ordered a burger from these guys late night, and after taking forever with the delivery the guy finally stumbles into my lobby looking like he’s been drinking a few Coronas. Upon opening my food I see a decent looking burger that’s already cold to the touch. Hey atleast the fries were a bit warm. Once I bit into my burger though my mood flipped 180. The burger was completely red on the inside. Like fully charred burned on the outside layer and disgustingly red on the inside. The picture I have included shows what I saw once I peeled the burger in half by just pulling on the end I bit off. I called and asked why they would send something like that and they proceeded to tell me that I should have specified that I wanted a well done burger(I told them from the beginning that I wanted it medium well) and made me wait another hour before the same drunk delivery guy told me it was all my fault and I should never call them again. Don’t worry guys, I never in my life will call again. To the people reading this please be very careful with your food. Had I eaten it I would probably be in the hospital.

Food good. Service good but watch your check! They are very sneaky about adding small amounts to your check. I don’t like people putting their hands in my pocket. No matter how much it is.

This diner is convenient located and has a ’60’s nostalgia flare. Food is fairly decent and service is pretty good. Unfortunately, there are still people working there who apparently still believe certain negative stereotypes about racial and ethnic groups.

4 stars because drunk me always«loves me some T-bone junk food» past midnight. Honestly I have never gotten food here during the day but at 3 am I know for a fact that their burgers and sweet potato fries taste like heaven! It has that old diner feel and a friendly staff which is really all you need at your local 24⁄7 diner. Their menu is extensive but as a repeat costumer after midnight I like to stick to my burger cravings. Drunken me recommend, and sober me asks you to keep in mind that most diners has food that taste like all other diners so don’t bring your hate if you don’t really like diner food to begging with!

T-Bone is like a lot of diners that line Queens Blvd… nothing special and stick to the standards… I’ve probably ordered eggs and homefries from here over 100x and never an issue… burgers are never dry. The location is horrible unless you are already on foot. Definitely avoid if driving.

Stopped by here once with a friend to chat. I was tempted to order the classics, such as pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, and some bacon with a side of OJ, but keeping in mind of the admonitions from reviews of fellow Unilocalers, my foodie instinct advised against it as well. Instead, I ordered a slice of an oh-so devilishly tempting and mouthwatering Chocolate Oreo Cake while my friend decided to stick with plain-old lemon water. I was utterly disappointed. It tasted dry, old, and not fresh(every foodie’s worst nightmare). I felt sick and could feel my mood getting worse with each bite. My friend’s drink had a slice of lemon with the sticker still attached onto it, which raises a red flag about the way this diner handles produce in general. I admire how T-Bone Diner has been around since 1948, but it really needs to stop cutting corners. Definitely not a place worthy of your time and money, especially with far better and more established diners out there.

The best diner in Forest Hills and they open 24 hours! I love the fact that I can just come here for breakfast at any hour of the day. Very friendly staff, clean environment, close to public transportation, and affordable prices. I have no complaints about their selection of breakfast options. I’m a sucker for their chocolate pancakes and home fries.
