Tasty Fast Food III

Stay Away. I ate 2 slices of pizza– one with broccoli and one with mushroom toppings. Within 1 hour, I got extremely sick. Vomiting, diarrhea and fever.
I have submitted a complaint to the health department.

Really love this place anytime I come from work late or I’m to lazy to cook I can always depend on tasty’s to cook something up, plus the food is delivered pretty quick. I suggest this to anyone who just wants to chill out and grab a bite.

We have placed orders here many times and have never been disappointed. The delivery service is always fast and the food is never cold. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. Burgers are excellent, even the turkey burgers are good. Pizza is not bad either but both times we ordered it was slightly undercooked. But the flavor was good.

Review based on Seamless orders. The name of this place must be an ironic joke, because the food is anything but tasty. I ordered several Italian dishes with chicken and cheese and have never had them taste so bland and unfulfilling. Will not order from here again. Still gets three stars because the amount of food for the money is solid, and delivery is fast.

Look, if you want burgers fries or a pizza this is the place. Gyros are good here, wraps are better.

I came here to grab a salad since I was heading to watch a movie at the park. The prices are very reasonable but boy are they slow. The place wasn’t packed and it took them about 20 minutes to get my order ready. First I was in a rush and two how long can it take to prepared a salad.
My salad was a very large size and the ingredients were decent.
If you want something from here make sure to give yourself enough time since they are super slow.

Well… I didn’t see any roaches and TRUST ME, I really was looking around trying to see if there were any after I read a review complaining about roaches in this place. There was no AC, and it was hot today so that was a big NO-​NO for me and the pizza tasted good, nothing special about it. However, when I first walked in and looked at the food, I was a little afraid to order something because the food did not look very tempting. It actually looked like it had just been sitting there for a while so I really hope that wasn’t the case. Maybe they should work that. And maybe getting an AC :)

Lived in the area for over 4 years now and I can definitely say they are 100% reliable as far as service and delivery. The food always tastes great and it’s good to have a place like this in the neighborhood.

Perfect lunch spot. Ordering with someone else and can’t decide on what to get? Tasty has something for everyone. The steak sandwich was pretty good… though the bread said garlic bread (but didn’t seem like it).

Pros: Decent pricing on most of everything. The sandwiches are pretty good and large for what they charge. Kind of panini’ed, flattened with grill marks on the bread, which is nice i think cause it makes the bread crunchier. A decent selection. Dependable (fried) buffalo wings.
Cons: Not really anything (at a delivery level anyways) other than not enough dressing on salads but again, this is a cheap delivery joint.
Overall: Good prices. Fast delivery. It is what it is, a dependable, cheap delivery joint.

Either that $ 25 minimum was a glitch or they have rethought their decision, because they are back down to a $ 10 minimum and delivering to my address. Yay! My five-​star opinion of these guys has been restored. :D
I actually wrote this right after I wrote the previous review, but for some reason it never posted. Posting it now so the record stands corrected. This place remains great. I just ordered from them two nights ago!

The best Philly cheesesteak I’ve had, and I spent a year in Philly. Gyro platter and burgers are also great. Service is quick and friendly, and the food is prepared fresh in front of you. Great lunch spot and take out for dinner.

This place is not clean at all!!! I was eating and I saw a cockroach on the wall in front of me!
I stopped eating and went to tell the manager and I was really chucked when that guy said ”oh yeah!”
He did not even come to see what is going on…
I believe that having un-​tasty food but clean is better than all of this garbage…

Ordered delivery off Seamless and was surprised by their really diverse menu.
Philly Cheesesteak sandwich — good
Penne a la vodka — good
Gyro platter — average
Baked Ziti — good
Fries — average (great size, no seasoning)
Seems like a place where you learn your favorites and stick to them. Great for a rainy day or night in.

6.77 for 6 mozzarella sticks?! Ok, fine. Ill give it a try. WRONG CHOICE. They were burnt, really really burnt. The portion is not huge, but I felt ripped off on the basis of the quality of my black cheese sticks. I can understand if you eat a whole meal from here and feel icky, it IS really greasy food. But when I got home I got that «food poisony» gurggle in my stomach and it was the chery on top of the pie.

i’ve gotten food from here a couple times. it is fast and cheap, so there’s that. bt it’s really not very good. it’s very greasy and it often makes me feel sick to my stomach after eating. if i buy from here, i’m certainly not feeling great about myself and i sure won’t feel any better after.
but if you like cheap & greasy, go for it.

I reserve my 5-​star ratings for outstanding sit-​down joints with exceptional food. But for a take-​out/​delivery joint, this place is one of the best in town. I would best compare the menu to restaurant-​style food, focusing more on Italian, American, and some typical Greek. But most everything that you order is straight up delicious for being prepared in 10-​minutes or less. My favorites are the california cobb salad, the greek salad, and the gyro platter. Salads are ALWAYS fresh, and the chicken & beef not frozen… cooked fresh on the grill every day. The pizza leaves something to be desired, but this isn’t a pizza joint so don’t complain. That oven does
When one of the managers aren’t running the front end, it can get a little disorganized and frustrating. But when those guys are there, they run a smooth and quick operation. Anyone that complains that the «typical italian guy» is rude and only wants to talk about sports, obviously doesn’t belong in Queens. If you are a true NYC resident, this guy is what you have grown to love in a local Queens joint. Go back to Minnesota and wait 45-​minutes for a burger, then come back and try to talk bad about the guy who just pushed your food out in lightning speed.
Delivery is the most reliable and the quickest in the entire FH area. I have almost never waited more than 30 minutes for an order to be delivered, and when I have they usually let me know. Food is always delivered hot, and I’ve never had a bad meal. If you want a reliable quick delicious restaurant-​style lunch or dinner, for an EXTREMELY reasonable price, you have to check this place out.

The prices here are great. The orders (pickup, never tried delivery) are always ready when they say they will be. The managers will usually waive their minimum order requirement for credit cards, at least on pick up. Thus ends my positive reviews.
Service is terrible. Either nobody speaks English or the register worker is an extremely rude, «old school Italian» who would rather complain about sports betting than take your order.
I always order my burger medium. It always is served to me well done. The onion rings included in «deluxe» are the disappointing «minced onions reformed into a ring and fried» variety. Their fries are awful. They toast the cheese for the burgers onto the bun so thoroughly you almost don’t know there is cheese. We have thus far tried both the normal burger with swiss and mushrooms and the veggie burger with the same, and both were very disappointing. All the ketchup in the world won’t undry these burgers. The fries are thick, unseasoned, and feel like you’re eating paste.
On a side note, the slices I’ve seen in store look typical for the area and are reasonably priced. Some day I may try one, as this and Subway are the only restaurants within walking distance for people of limited means. From my experiences, however, I would work to avoid this place unless you have no other options.

i’ve tried a good handful of food from here and i can’t say i’m a big fan.
The cheese ravioli wasn’t that great. it lacked flavor — tho it was cheesy. it could be better as i have had tasted better raviolis.
the fries/​onion rings were okay. a little oily. fries looked like potato wedges instead.
the cheese slice pizza was probably my «fave’ out of all the items i’ve tried from here. pretty cheesy which i like but it seem like it still somehow lacked some flavor.
cheeseburger — not too bad — not the best i’ve had but reasonable/​decent. (if there was a shake shack around my job i’ll probably go there instead).
chicken fingers — not bad but it was burned. it seemed very, very oily too. if it wasn’t burnt it would’ve probably been better. :(
the food itself i would give 3 to 3.5 stars but the price is what seems eh to me but what can i say? it is queens so yeah. i’ll come here for a quick bite or w/​e but otherwise i wouldn’t really come with my friends to eat or to catch a bite. it’s more of a let’s go here for a quick fix and go back to the office and resume working type of place for me.

From the outside looks of this place, one would surely pass by without noticing anything good at all. But after giving it a try the first time, I’m hooked to this place.
We’ve ordered from them nuerous times and they have always been satisfying and so forth. From their wings, burgers, chicken sandwiches, chili fries, and nachos, plenty of selection to choose from at reasonable prices. I personally love ordering their grilled chicken sandwich with swiss and mushrooms with a side order of steak fries. The bread is nicely toasted and the fries are always crispy and fresh.
Their delivery times are also pretty good too as I never have to wait more than 30 mins tops.
Even ordered some fairly large platters of wings, salads and pizzas for a party one time and they were good with the timing and the food was still fresh and everyone enjoyed it.
