Stewie’s serves the most amazing Italian sandwich that I’ve ever tasted! My husband and I travel frequently and when we do I always search for restaurants who can make an Italian sandwich as good as Stewie’s. Nothing comes close. The flavor and freshness of the ingredients and quality of the bread are top notch. The Italian Mayo and olive mix are unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before and truly make the sandwich outstanding. The sandwich is enough for two meals and the pricing is very reasonable. The staff are always welcoming and very hospitable. If only they would franchise this place so the rest of the world could enjoy such a delicious sandwich. Keep doing what you’re doing, Stewie’s!

Pasting through on our way to Canada. Our regular stop «Roosters» was closed. Found Stewie’s on Unilocal.5 mins off 35. Don’t go to the highway chains. NOTE the address listed is wrong it’s on SOUTH lakeshore not north. Get lost (like we did) just give them a call.

Sandwiches as they are meant to be. The sauce brings it all together. None better. The staff is all about satisfying your hunger and getting you back to your business. Best place in town!

This place is amazing! It can be pretty busy at times but the quality is definitely worth the wait. The portions are very generous and the staff is always really friendly. The subs are head and shoulders above subway and Jimmie johns and the are a fraction of the cost
Try an Italian, or a Rex. Best sub shop I’ve ever been to

The Italian sub is by far the best Sub I have ever eaten in my life. This place knocked my socks off. Subway, Jimmy Johns, Quiznos, Jersey Mikes, and Firehouse subs do not hold a candle to this place.
If you are in Forrest Lake you must stop in and try this place. I am not in Forrest Lake very often, but if I was this is a place I would eat at often.
I just wish they had a samdwich place this good in Oakdale, where I live

Wow! Great hot deli sandwiches!
My daughter and her hubby liked this place so much they couldn’t help sharing how good the sandwiches were. Many sandwiches etc. to choose from. Actually I’ve had there hot turkey and Swiss a few times. It comes cut in half and it’s about twice the size bun that subway comes on. It’s really two meals in one for the ladies! Guys this will fit the bill for you too. Easy to find the shop. Right off of hwy 61 Enjoy!

This place has the best sandwiches in town! As far as the atmosphere and staff go, its a sub shop, don’t expect to be waited on hand and foot in stellar accomodations, with that being said I’ve always had a good experience. Try the muffaleta, it’s awesome!!!

Stopped in to get some lunch and I was suprised by the food quality of this place. The service was a less than good and they screwed up my order. Once past that I can say that the sandwich I ate was delicious. The bread was a little rough on the roof of my mouth though. The portion size was fair for the $ 8 bucks I paid.
Kinda small place. Plenty of parking available. Not the cleanest place but it’s effective as a sub shop.
Check them out if your in the area and you want a different sandwich other than Subway. I would’ve given this place a four star rating but the service was kinda rude. I will go back though.
