Ugh! I hate to do this but I am sooo disappointed! I gave this salon 4 stars when I first got my hair done and here I am writing my update. My hair is not lasting at all and I got it done THIS MONTH!!! I had two women working on my hair at the same time and the lady who did the back did a horrible job! She didn’t use enough pack hair so my hair is sooo frizzy! The front still looks great. I know how to take care of braids and my hair looking so messed up is of no fault of my own! So all in all, they’re quick but work is subpar at best. The woman who did the back was older and had a bob hairstyle. She’s on the heavier side. Don’t let her touch your hair!

Went in on a saturday. It was empty, which made me hesitant. However, The young lady was nice, and quoted me a price. I inquired about box braids in a BOB and even showed her where i wanted them to end. Apparently there was miscommunication, and she did not give me a bob. She then offered to do so, but recanted and said she was unable because of the way she braided the hair. So i just accepted it as it was. She did a good job, pleasant, and she was super fast (3.5 hours); i just wanted a certain style. Once i was home i noticed that the braids could have been cut and sealed, so I’m confused as to what she meant. Judging from her phone conversation, she was eager to get out of there, so I assume she did not want spend the extra time sealing them. My advice is to be clear and concise about your style. I would have given 5 if not for the mix up.

I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone. I went in on 6÷5÷15 and got my hair micro-braided and weaved in the middle. This is a common trick I use to save time on a wet and wavy install. The end result looked beautiful but a month later when I’m taking out the braids I’m furious! During the install I noticed the braider was sealing the ends with glue and I didn’t balk my concern because I’ve seen and had this done before BUT at Ave Maria they didn’t braid down below where my hair stopped. They glued my hair!!! The struggle is real right now not to damage my own hair even further to remove these braids. I’m thanking God right now that the middle is weaved unless my entire head would’ve been subject to the glue
