Friday night, busy so you would expect the staff to be on their toes. Waited 30 minutes to get our food and when it arrived everything except the chicken breast was ICE COLD!!! WTH? Told a server who asked how everything was that our food was cold! She apologized and that was it. No offer to get us hot food, just a lame excuse that it will never happen again! And you know that HOW? No offer to refund money, nothing! Guess we will go out of town to spend our money from now on! Shame on you Cowboy Chicken, this is NOT your first rodeo!

It took them over 45 minutes to get us our food, our soup was cold as well and it then took an additional 15 minutes for them to remake the soup when it was evidentially microwaved. The servers were doing nothing to assist the process either and were relatively rude to me and my family. The food was also abysmal. At the end of the meal we were so fed up we asked for them to get a togo box for some of the stuff in our meal, the waiter took it back and after 10 minutes of waiting for what seemed like an easy task we went and asked what happened. The server, as well as several other employees then began to argue about the food we were missing. All in all it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

AMAZING CHICKEN ENCHILADAS, seriously. I am addicted. The sides are alright. I am upset about the twice baked potatoes. They are not good to me. soft grated potatoes with no fixins mixed in is not my idea of a twice baked potato. It’s a bit pricey here, too. I went through the drive through and the girl working the window was over friendly, like leaning in my car. And when I made a small order, she kept asking if that was all I wanted, like she couldn’t believe I didn’t want a drink or something. The service inside is good. Clean place, has tvs. It’s cool how you can see the chicken roasting.

Finally made my way over there. The food was good, but I hate to say it, their rotisserie chicken was NOT as good as the rotisserie chicken I bring home from SAMs! Drive thru service was painfully slow, but the guy working the window was very apologetic.
I would return again, but I hope there are more chicken options.

The chicken was meh. Nothing great not bad, about like anyother rotisserie I have had. The sides were good and sour/​cream chicken enchiladas are excellent. we won’t go out of our way to go back but if we are in the area we would stop again.

Great concept but the place always falls short of bringing it all the way. Here are a few examples…
Forgetting items when delivering.
Sending unsweetened tea when ordering the delicious watermelon or peach tea they offer. (Seasonal)
Sending unsweetened tea after speaking to manager and you pick it up and verify with employee handing you the tea…
Will not accept deliveries due to not having enough staff… (I called to find out it was a staff issue. That was after I spent several times thinking there was a computer issue.) I am certain that issue has not been fixed.
Last but not least… Photos attached! RAW AND I DO MEAN RAW PEACH COBBLER.
On a good note, best green enchiladas you can find! Too bad you have to risk losing at least 10 $ worth of food or drink by ordering with these guys.

The food is great! Best enchiladas ever hands down. However, I can not think of one time that we have ordered here, when they didn’t screw something up. Once, we waited over an hour for delivery so we called to see how much longer we were to expect our food, to be told they FORGOT to make our order! Other times, our substitution/​alteration requests weren’t followed through, and on more than one occasion, food was left out… They have always tried to make these mistakes right with us by offering discounts, free dessert, replacing the meal… But I much rather have exactly what I ordered correct JUST ONCE! It is so frustrating. But I keep risking it because it’s just so good! Grrrr…

YUMMO! Stumbled upon this after car broke down on road trip. Bummer about the car, but finding this place was a bonus! Great service, fresh food, amazing flavors! Wish there was one in my town!!!

Had the Forney Special, these are the worst green beans I have ever tried and I love green beans. Mac ‘n cheese is pretty sad too, I’ve had better at a school cafeteria. And the wing and thigh were small so you definitely need to order more chicken. I will not give this place another chance.

I love Cowboy chicken and decided to try the Vaquero chicken and it’s very good but a little too spicy for me. Mac and cheese was great. I will be back.

My go to place! I love the family meals when I don’t feel like cooking! The salads are pricey but worth it when I’m in a hurry or at work. Its fresh and the blackberry cobbler is my weakness! I have to get it everytime! AMAZING!

If I could I’d give this place no stars. I have serious food allergies and called ahead to see if I could eat here. Normally when I call to find out about what is in seasonings and sauces, the kitchen staff is more than willing to accommodate me so I can have an enjoyable experience at the restaurant without getting sick.
But when I called, the man I spoke to on the phone was rude and told me he couldn’t divulge what was in the seasoning because it is a «proprietary blend», despite me having food allergies.
Needless to say, Cowboys needs to rethink their policies and take into consideration people like me who NEED to know whats in the food on a medical basis. Until they do this, I suggest people with food allergies not eat here.

Cowboy Chicken is my new go-​to when I don’t feel like cooking!
The service was quick, the workers friendly and attentive, and the prices affordable.
We ordered the #1 — whole chicken with 2 sides (black eyed peas & twice baked taters) and 4 rolls. Chicken was juicy, sides were full of flavor, and the rolls were soft and sweet. With 2 drinks, our total was less than $ 25 and we had leftovers.
I’m excited to try the other items on their menu!

The chicken is pretty tasty but that is it. The Pico is not spicy at all, the green beans are not fresh and the rancho beans are not worth it either. I went with two very non picky eaters and they did not touch their green beans or finish their Ranchero beans. If you want some place for good chicken and no alcohol then Cowboy Chicken is the place for you. :)

A pleasant surprise! I decided to try out a place I haven’t been to before (I think). Read the reviews, decided on the enchiladas and mac & cheese. They both had great flavor and I’m leaving here satisfied. I love/​hate it when I try someplace new and really like what I chose to eat, because I want to try other things, but man, I really like this!
I’ll certainly be back, I’ll try to branch out in the future.

I ordered the Vaquero Chicken and it was amazing! The twice baked potaters were also very good! And I recommend trying the creamed spinach!
If you are deciding between Oscar Delta and Cowboy Chicken I suggest Cowboy Chicken every time. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is way more family oriented and they serve food on a plate where Oscar Delta serves it to go. If you are in a rush go to Oscar Delta but if not try Cowboy Chicken. (They gave us a free dessert for it being our first time).

Cowboy Chicken responded with exceptional service and great food! I had planned to use another local restaurant until they dropped the ball and left me scrambling to provide several people for a luncheon. Fortunately I tried Cowboy Chicken and everything turned out fantastic. Everyone was impressed with how juicy the chicken was and how delicious the campfire veggies, Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and beans were.
I will defiantly continue to support Cowboy Chicken!

The food was only ok for us. The chicken was good but a little dry like it had been sitting out for a while. Sides were not that good. I got fried okra and baked potato hashbrowns. Service was great, there sweet tea was way over sweetened. I was not the only complaint on that. Just wished this place was better.
