Hampton Inn Decatur/Forsyth

My stay here was OK. I was disappointed that it is a pet friendly hotel. Not only did the dog next-​door barking every time I enter left my room, but I found dog hair on the floor and my allergies were irritated. On the positive side, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Stacy called me prior to my arrival to confirm. I was happy to have a room at the sold-​out hotel after my three hour flight delay.

I am a Hilton/​Hampton rewards member staying in their hotels for over 30 nights a year and I called here to request a special rate for a month long stay and the guy on the phone was very friendly and helpful just like any Hampton Inn. He got my information and told me the manager would give me a call back to discuss long-​term rates. Never heard back from anyone… Oh well…

Pretty good.
They had free cookies so that’s a win in my book.
The breakfast was good and the maid service was good so ya.

«Good Stay, Average Accoms but Higher Pricing»
The wife and I, along with our 2 dogs, stayed overnight for a family reunion recently. The staff was pleasant, room clean. Breakfast was adequate.
Atmosphere: No musty odors or the like. Our room was a non-​smoking and there were no lingering odors or a hint. We were led to believe that pet rooms were designated but were unsure. Either they are that good at cleaning or we were in a regular room. Either way, it was well kept up. There were no pet fees. The hotel was quiet. Fridge as well
Pool Area: We were disappointed that the hot tub was closed indefinitely, we were really looking forward to relaxing when we got back. Story was that due to an ADA issue they cannot open the hot tub until it becomes disabled accessible and that will likely take a while to re-​engineer the area for a lift.
Value: This is the one thing that I gnashed my teeth about… is a stay worth 130.00 with taxes for a single night in a King room? Breakfast, Wifi and Basic cable?

My family and I stayed at this hotel overnight on the 7^th. We were in the area for my uncle’s funeral. My father called and explained the situation, the clerk was kind and helpful, and offered a bereavement rate.
I arrived after a day of work, and a three and a half hour commute in a rainstorm. I was greeted by a very pleasant young lady who set me up with room keys and gave me a brief overview of the layout of the hotel. They were able to put all of our rooms together, which was convenient. My room was very nice, recently remodeled, clean and all things in order. Although I didn’t use it, there was a small but very clean indoor pool. In the morning, I was very pleasantly surprised at the free continental breakfast. I was expecting simple coffee and donuts, and was pleasantly surprised to find a full array of beverages and food, including cereal, omelettes, pastries, waffles, pancakes, meats, fruit… as good a full breakfast as I would have eaten at a restaurant, and it was included in the room price. There was also a nice woman who was very attentive to our needs while eating. Checkout was a breeze.
In all a very clean hotel, set apart for me by a very pleasant, courteous staff.
