I had the pizza rolls and salad. It was fair. My associate had a Caesar salad and the chicken had spoiled. There were flies everywhere and the person making the food didn’t wear gloves. Don’t think I will be back again. It’s disappointing because this place had great reviews.

The food was delicious. We bought two different pizzas — can’t remember the names of the pizzas. One had a tomatoes sauce and the other had a white sauce. Both were very good and I would order them again. The staff was remarkably pleasant and attentive. Our waitress, Chiara, was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely eat there again

INCREDIBLE! Stopped to stay the night & found this place through our hotel. I got the California pizza, which was absolutely delicious and my mom got a sandwich, which she loved! The dressing on the Caesar salad was really great as well! Now if the food wasn’t enough, the staff was so sweet and helpful! Literally everyone working chatted with me while they were working and were as hospitable as can be! They made sure we had everything we needed as far as utensils, plates and such and even through in biscotti! If I didn’t have my German shepherd with me I would have loved to eat there because the place was adorable! 100% recommend and worth the stop!

Let me begin this review by saying that Jonah’s has been a great addition to Forsyth and the food has always been great! I have never had an experience there quite like the one that is detailed below. My mom, aunt(from out of town), grandmother and I went to Jonah’s on a Friday evening to eat. We walked in around 7:45 or so and there were some tables with patrons in the front of the restaurant, so we continued to the back, in order to be able to talk and visit. When we got to the back of the restaurant to sit, we noticed two employees sitting at a table. We sat down at the first bench table and it was noticeable to us all that no one wanted to wait on us. It was then confirmed after hearing comments from the staff. They argued over who was going to wait on us… because no one wanted to. So, when a waitress finally decided that she would take our drink order(after about ten minutes) we each got a water and I ordered a beer. We also ordered two appetizers, baked fontina cheese dip and of course, the artichoke dip The artichoke dip being one of my favorites. We also ordered a pizza(veggie delight if I remember correctly). After a good thirty minutes our appetizer came out, the baked fontina dip and we were told by our server that she was just informed they were out of artichokes and asked if we wanted something else. We said no, thank you. The beer was brought and it was cool, not cold. We tried to enjoy our one appetizer however, the little bit of cheese that was the«dip» has been cooked so long it was stuck to the skillet that it was cooked in. We ate what we could and gave up. When our server brought our pizza to us(that actually did have artichokes on it), we showed her the dip and her comment was«Oh yeah, they did cook that too long.»… The pizza was good however, that does not make up for the lack of service or the atmosphere and attitude of the staff… when we got ready to leave after also ordering and enjoying a dessert but being told that they simply did not have decaf coffee(never offering to make any other type of coffee), an employee literally locked the door as soon as we stepped out of it. This was at about ten minutes after nine… apparently the restaurant closes at nine(on a Friday). In all honestly, I would have much rather gone to Grits where I feel our business would have been appreciated, the overall meal would have been better and the atmosphere much more pleasant. After this experience and being a hometown person especially, I don’t know that I would go back or recommend Jonah’s to anyone.

The best experience! The staff are so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. There was a little sitting area out front. The white sauce on pizza was so good! I will be back the next time I am anywhere close or I would make a special trip just to come eat here!

This place is Amazing! My husband and I were on the way to Savannah, GA and stopped in here to eat dinner. We are so glad we stumbled onto this gem. We ordered a white sauce pizza and a meat lovers calzone. There was nothing left on our plates when we got finished. Our server, Austin, was full of personality and very attentive. Also very reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend Jonah’s!

Nice local place. Friendly help. I had a 10″ pizza and it was pretty good. The vegetables were fresh. Service was great and the pizza is baked in a brick oven so it was fast also for a pizza place. If I’m back in the area I will stop in again.

Very personable waitstaff, great breadsticks and pizza! My daughters had a calzone and the homemade pizza rolls and two normally picky eaters ate everything on their plates. We did order lemon bars and a praline bar for dessert but had to take them home because we were so full!

Wish there was a ½ star available would have 3 ½. Dough excellent pizza was good. I have never been a fan of toppings that fall off a pizza. I got the veggie pizza with white sauce and red mixed due to a server suggestion. It was a good idea because the white sauce was just garlic and olive oil I think very strong. My wife got the Greek salad. When I ordered I asked for a Greek dressing and was told that it came with balsamic vinegar which I thought was odd. The server was young and truly seemed to care about my dining experience but didn’t have knowledge of beer/wine lists or what was available. I feel that with a few tweaks this place could be a 4 – 5 star pizza place.

Great food. Expensive For what you get. Clueless wait staff. Poorly organized menu. I’ll come back here but only because the real brick fired oven produces some tasty pizza.

We ordered 3 pizzas for a family gathering and loved them. The crusts are hand rolled and worth every bite. The ingredients are fresh and they were cooked just right. We’ve never been disappointed with this small place just off the square in Forsyth.

Tasty sandwiches and very passable salads. Very good bread. The stand-out today was an intensely flavored tomato soup. I think if you got that soup and a nice crispy grilled cheese, that would approach a perfect meal. Also the baked goods were lovely. Service was slightly lackadaisical. The bathroom is bizarrely tiny. But overall, I would definitely go there again.

Possibly the best pizza in GA and the South. Home made dough, sauce, fresh moz. They have white pizza and pesto. There is every reason in the world to take your family here on the way to Hilton Head or Florida. Oh did I mention the home made apple pie, double chocolate mouse cake, and pralines! Just go there. A must try.

My favorite place to eat in Forsyth. The fresh bread selection for sandwiches is incredible, the soups and salads are good and the pizza is worth the drive! The craft beer selection is ever changing and adventurous. The mixed drinks are creative and perfectly balanced. Don’t leave without grabbing some of the best pralines you will ever eat!!!

We called in a takeout order in our way south from Michigan to Florida at the end of a very long day. The pizza was not inexpensive, but it was delicious! Thin crust, fresh toppings, and herbs sprinkled on top. We were sad to learn that the cinnamon rolls were sold out, but the peanut butter bars are truly to die for. Three of us shared a 16″ pizza and three bars, and ended up with breakfast too. Very friendly staff — looked like a fun place to eat, but we took ours back to the hotel.

Just placed a take out order at Jonah’s on Johnston in Forsyth, GA. Ordered a large Ortenburger pizza and some Fire Sticks. Was told order would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. I walked into the restaurant 17 minutes after placing the order. Pizza was ready in the box under the heater. Paid for the order($ 34) and asked about Fire Sticks. Well they forgot them. The cashier told the cook and he hit his head like one of the 3 Stooges. The cashier just left pizza next to register. I had to ask her to put it under the heater. Well she must have missed that. Got the fire sticks after sitting and waiting 15 minutes. Got home(took a whopping 3 minutes to get home) and both the pizza and fire sticks were VERYCOLD. You know I probably would have just taken everything and not said anything if ANYONE in the restaurant would have said«Sorry about the delay» or «Hey, we know you had to wait how about a dessert on the house». No one said anything. Called the restaurant and talked to the manager. He did not seem to care. Pizza Hut in Forsyth is unbelieveably awful. If you want decent hot pizza you have to go to Macon or Slices in Barnesville. Also remember the Anvil Room is run by these characters so BEWARE. We will not be returning.

After reading pretty convincing reviews about this place and it being close to where we live my wife and I decided to give this place a try. We walked in and the place was empty. Its a bit past the lunch time so we didn’t think much of it. We looked over the menu and decided on a few items. The waitress was friendly but since it was her first day she knew nothing about the menu. We got our artichoke dip and fire stick while they were cooking the margarita pizza. The artichoke dip was bizarre. It had raw onions and one single red bell pepper with canned artichokes in some sort of cheese. Not good nothing special but we ate a few bites. The fire sticks were horrible. Bread drenched in a cheap hot sauce with a few sesame seeds sprinkled over it. The dipping sauce was also horrible. Even when they saw we only took one bite they never asked what was wrong or offer us something else. Pizza was just ok. The crust was too crispy for me. The crispy has to be matched with the chewy to make a good pizza in my opinion. There was way too much sauce on the pizza which over powered the cheese and the basil. All around this place sucks as far as food is concerned. They need trained and knowledgeable cook and staff. But as of now I won’t be going back for below par food and service.

Stopped in here for a quick dinner while in town. Had been told the pizza was good but pricey. Well both were true. The pizza was pretty good i just had a pep and cheese and a Greek salad. I think the price price of the pizza was fair considering it is a hand made and brick fired pizza. The salad on the other had was total rip off. First the pizza. The sauce was very good just the right balance of tomato and seasoning. The pizza crust was great the bottom was firm and edges had a little chewiness to them. Just the right amount of cheese. The pepperoni was well pepperoni nothing fancy but tasty. I would get this pizza any day. Now to the salad. A Greek salad it was not. Not going to bore you with details on a salad. Just going to give the facts. First for the price it was tiny… very tiny… there was a lot of brown lettuce in it. When i placed the order they didn’t ask me what kind of dressing i wanted. I didn’t really think much of that I kind of figured it would have Greek dressing. Nope… the pitfalls of carry out. Got back to the hotel to discover NO dressing. That is it about the salad. That is more than what i wanted to say.
