My first trip here. Good menu, lots of choices and good home cooking. I had the chicken livers & they were perfectly cooked, grilled crispy, not deep fried. Lots of tempting homemade pie choices, too. Instant mashed potatoes were a disappointment, but good salad bar & everything else was good. I’ll come back again.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Forsyth, MO
The very popular Longhorn restaurant owned by Mike Beeler, located at 16039US Hwy 160 in Forsyth Missouri, reopened on Monday, June the 2nd. This opening has been much anticipated by a number of Forsyth residents who remember the great American cuisine that had been served there over the years! Now, the establishment is being run by Mr. Beeler’s nephew Allen Kutchko along with his wife Magan who, I’m told will be acting as chief expediter. Not wanting to miss eating there on this, their first day of business, I made it a point to get there at a late morning hour for and early lunch. I arrived at about 11:30AM, and was not too surprised to see that the parking lot was moderately full even at that time! Upon entering, I was immediately struck by a couple of things,(most notably the well stocked and fresh looking buffet table) as well as the overall appearance of cleanliness that was apparent throughout the establishment! I selected a booth(seating capacity looked to be over 100) and was greeted by a server in under a minute who gave me a menu that contained lots of wonderful items, some of which I recognized from when they were open before. I selected their ‘Kountry Burger Deluxe’ which comes with French fries, and I also ordered a coke. A short time later it was delivered to my table, even though the establishment was rapidly filling up! The burger and fries looked mouth watering and, in point of fact, everything was done to perfection. The bottom line; this is a venue you really should consider supporting! Try it out for yourself send me comments to verify that you had as a good an eating experience as I’ve had myself! The Longhorn is open seven days a week at this time, from 6:30AM to 8:30PM, although I would call them at 417−546−9751 to confirm, just in case.
