Well, I just started golfing and this is the only course I’ve ever played on, so I really have nothing to compare it to. However, here is my opinion… The staff is very friendly. I’ve never had any issues with them, and they are always happy to help. The driving range is what it is. A driving range. I’m not sure how fancy you could even make something like that. There is plenty of room though and a bucket of balls is fairly cheep. The course itself isn’t too bad. It’s clean and kept up with pretty well. The only complaint I have is the greens. They are sub-par in my opinion. Even not having ever played anywhere else, I know they shouldn’t have little brown muddy spots in them. Apparently, there was some over seeding, and now the sprinklers have to run off and on throughout the day. This obviously causes slow green putting, not to mention that you may be standing right on top of the sprinkler when it turns on. Overall, this is a nice place to play and spend the afternoon or morning. I have yet to see it very crowded and you have adequate time to play each hold without having to rush. I would still call ahead and get a tee time, if there is a DONSA /Long Weekend on post though.
