The food and atmosphere here at Avo’s is spectacular. I love it here, but the staff is beyond awful. A dreadful staff at such an immaculate eatery makes me want to never return.

Seriously still here and thriving after my early foray to CSU in the late 80s. Impressively still packing a solid burger and an old fav– mozzarella sticks w/marinara. They know their beers too-reveled in a killer IPA per bar keep’s recommendation. I’d go back today if it wasn’t out of town for me!

A lovely small town vibe. Awesome food, especially breakfast and their tempeh burgers. Their gluten free bread is yummy, and their portions are large. Their breakfast potatoes are the best I’ve ever had… I always order extra.

I love Avo’s — their staff is always really laid back and nice, they have an amazing tempeh burger(my husband, who previously wouldn’t even touch tempeh, loves it too), really nice outdoor seating, good beer on tap(and good prices!) — what more do you need?

Very cool spot. Just checked it out for the very first time because there was a hooked deal. The sandwiches were heavy and it was clear that the ingredients were fresh. The side of coleslaw was over powered with vinegar. Overall, good bang for buck and cool environment.

Avo’s is a seriously unique joint. To begin with, if you’ve had Tempeh in northern Colorado, there’s a very good chance it was made at Avo’s. It makes a great burger and also a tasty reuben! I’ve had a great deal of their menu attending various shows here, and while the sweet potato fries might be my favorite thing, nothing has been disappointing. I think the best thing about Avo’s might be their bar prices — at least as far as beer goes. They provide waiter service during the variety of shows they host, and it’s great to get a good meal and a cold drink. For a place with a restaurant, bar, entertainment venue, and patio, Avo’s doesn’t feel like they’re trying to do too much.

So I can’t comment on the food. The bar was good and the live music is what brought us here. Quiet with plenty of seating and the music was just the right level on the bluegrass night. Just wish parking was better. Otherwise it’s a solid night out.

Great food selection, and a cool interior that you have to experience to appreciate :) They have large outdoor seating out back, and an adjacent bar in case you need to wash down that sandwich with a seasonal Odell’s. Walking distance from CSU and is always popping for lunch! Always a positive experience.

My mom and dad used to go to Avogadro’s when they first starting dating. This place has quite the reputation && customer appeal. The food is delicious, staff is always on point, and the bar is quick to grab a drink for you. I love sitting on the back patio in the summer time. I would say that in order to get five stars, they should update patio furniture. But, I’ll still sit on the plastic until it happens !

Nice large patio outside to enjoy time with friends and some fine beers. Suspended parachutes overlapped to mostly cover the area in case of rain or too much sun. There is a small fountain and a climbing structure to keep the young kids entertained. Was not there when there was music but it looked like a nice place fore a concert.

I completely understand if you rent out the patio for a private party. Please put a sign out front when you do though. The only reason we came was for the patio, but did not discover that the patio was closed until after we bought beers. Had we known that, we would have gone somewhere else. Very disappointed that we ended up drinking a beer inside on a very nice day.

Consistent 4 star on service and good quality. Tried their white pizza slice for first time and was really good. $ 3.50 tap beer is not bad either. A good place to get away once in a while. Like their fries and variety of items. Woof!

Was excellent until I found a small piece of cow poo from the mushrooms not being cleaned well. Grossed out pretty bad.

Avos is one of my favorite memories from college. September 1986 was the beginning of my freshman year at CSU, and my roommate’s older brother introduced us to Avos and the cremation sandwich… Cream cheese, avocado, lettuce, sprouts, onions, and olives all combined into a hoagie of deliciousness. I went many times during my college years, and still hit it every times I happen to find myself in Fort Collins. The original restaurant hasn’t changed much: the macramé dividers, the jungle painting on the walls. Just a throwback to the 60’s. They’ve added the bar next door at some point, which I haven’t checked out yet, but it’s nice to one thing in that town that really hasn’t changed.

I wasn’t too crazy about Avogadro’s Number. I ordered wings, and they were a bit overcooked. The fires were good though, and y’all know I love me some fries. I don’t know if I’d come back. Maybe I’ll try some breakfast instead. Everyone else in the group seemed to enjoy theirs.

I went to Avogadro’s Number in Fort Collins a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and a few friends. I had been there years ago, but wanted to try their Bloodys again. The previous evening, a few people told me «You gotta try their Bloodys!» and that it’s awesome watch the bartender craft each cocktail. So there we went– to Avoooogadro’s! When you walk into Avogadro’s, psychedelic paintings of animals, jungles, and wizards abound– you feel like you’re walking into The Jungle Book on steroids. On various nights during the week, Avogadro’s has live music and open jam/mic nights. I ordered up a burger at the counter and went to the bar to get a Bloody. At a nice price of $ 5.25, I was stoked to not be reaching deep into my pockets to pay for an outrageously priced cocktail. I watched the bartender make my Bloody, which was cool. I always like the knack people put into mixing their Bloody Marys. We sat outside on the patio to enjoy Sunday Funday– right next to a sweet two-story treehouse. The patio of Avogadro’s has a nice ambiance and is perfect to enjoy a springtime meal. I ordered a burger and requested an egg on it, which you wouldn’t think would be that hard to add. The girl at the counter gave me a hard time about it and told me they would only do it this one time… It’s not that hard to fry up and egg!!! Plus she wasn’t the nicest about the situation. On other notes, the burger I ordered was good… The Bloody… not so much. I’m not sure if I came on an off day or what. There’s also a great possibility the bartender from the previous day that my friends were speaking so highly of was not working on Sunday, so maybe that’s why the Bloody was sub-par(you know a Bloody isn’t good when you need someone else to help you finish it).I’m not sure if I visited on an off day? Check out the full review with ratings here: Plus side though is the outside patio with an area for kids to play. It’s kind of annoying that you have to order your drinks at the bar and your food at the counter(consolidation is nice.).

Cool spot, we went for a brew and a fundraiser for Nepal’s Earthquake. The band was fiddle-esq and it was groovy. We ordered the fries with Ketchup and Mayo and man— talk about hitting the spot. Definitely a spot to pop in and have a drink and fries. Great name for a pub.

Place has great food. Newly vegan and as soon as I mentioned they said they would substitute avocado for all dairy on the veggie steak sandwich. Bonus before becoming vegan that was my favorite sandwich non vegan style and it was two for one. Also, they mentioned the tempeh is made in house and one of the employees favorite. How could I go wrong? I will definitely be back many times.

Avo’s itself is a whole lot of meh. I’d rate them two stars but the sheer amount of music and the variety thereof that happens here is redeeming. They could easily get five stars if they 1) fixed up the space, 2) sold a greater variety and higher quality beer, 3) spiced up the menu just a bit, and 4) had better consistency with sound people. Now about that atmosphere… What in the #$&^% is up with the room that has Star Trek stuff(poorly) painted among the cosmos and then some countryside scenes all over the walls? Seriously, what are they thinking??? Oh wait, the Dead Jam happens there every week… Wait, what? But for things like open mic or Arias at Avo’s that space is a hot mess. They have curtains that almost cover some of the mess on the walls behind the stage, but they’re all different colors. They have them arranged so that they match the opposite side of the stage, but it’s fugly. Hire a designer, or just an individual who knows how to not make a dumpy hodge-podge out of a room. The food will do the trick if you’re hungry, but that’s about it. Nothing creative or particularly tasty on the menu. Might as well get the nachos; they’re not any better or worse than anything else on the menu, but at least they’re cheap and somewhat massive. Drinks and beer options are underwhelming, especially for Fort Collins. They treat their musicians very good as far as compensation and comps go. They have good sound equipment, but from what I’ve experienced as a performer, some of their sound people don’t really know what they’re doing.

This place is freaking great. Such beautiful artwork on the walls, cool music, food, and people. Definitely worth checking out!
