Wow! Used a groupon for this place and it was more affordable than village inn VIB breakfast. This place was absolutely delicious and warm. I love a breakfast place with booths and a nice atmosphere. The menu was decidedly unique and if I lived in the area I would definitely visit more often. Home cooked food at a reasonable price.

If you’re in a hurry for your Sunday breakfast then you probably shouldn’t go out to eat… However, if you’re willing to sit in a chill place and be fed good food, served by nice people… Butters fits the bill. And, get this– vegetarian options for breakfast! Fruit sides that don’t come from a can of medley! … and a super-reasonable price point. Bottom line– we’ll go back, probably somewhat regularly.

Horrible! Waited just under an hour after placing order to receive our food and when it finally came I received the wrong damn order! The whole place was in disarray, both of the group’s on either side of us had problems as well. I’m glad they comped the meal as there was no way in would pay for that!

An unexpected gem! Every time we’ve gone, we’ve left totally satisfied. Staff is friendly & attentive. Food is excellent, served fast and all-at-once. No one had to wait & watch someone else eat. The rare times that there have been any issues on food, they’ve fixed it fast, and without incident. Also; great food options overall.

Good little out of the way place for breakfast. Food was good just not outstanding but breakfast is one of the hard ones to spice up.

The best part of this place was the location. Food was okay but not something I would go out of my way to return to. Similarly with the staff/environment. Nice place but so far have not found anything special about it yet. Maybe I will be surprised if I return in the future.

Butters has several really delicious choices like their bacon waffles and Cap’n Crunch French toast. Splitting a tower of mimosas with some friends as well makes for a very pleasant weekend morning!

From the outside you wouldn’t expect much from this breakfast joint, but once inside you’ll be pleasantly surprised! Very clean, nice décor, and super friendly staff. I just had the eggs and bacon but everything was cooked to perfection. Drip coffee, which was delicious, and it all cost me $ 10. The menu offers plenty of variety and some great bar options. I will definitely get my breakfast here whenever I’m in FOCO. Highly recommend it.

Unassuming place we almost turned around rather than go inside. Wow! We are glad we did! Love this place! Great food and great atmosphere. And the price? Very affordable and I would give it one dollar sign for sure as for example the basic«starting option» is $ 6.99 and you get Eggs + Hashbrowns(love em’) or Fruit + Either: Pancakes(perfect) /French Toast(favorite) or Waffles(good) …$ 6.99!!!(I did try two specials and they were amazing! About $ 3 more) Service has been superb each time. As much as I want the secret to not get out — they deserve the recognition.

The food is great. Seriously, the food is amazing. However, it’s sad going to a place that you enjoy and have it consistently ruined by the staff. They are almost always understaffed, leading to long wait times even for simple things like water or the check. On top of this I’ve had a mixed experience with the wait staff being very rude 50% of the time and very friendly the other 50%. I’m not really sure what to think about this one; the great food can only balance out, not exceed, the negative impression left by the horrendous wait times and mediocre staff.

As busy as this establishment was I had high expectations. I was definitely let down, I had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and fruit. For starters the eggs were put on top of the biscuits and gravy yuck soggy eggs. The flavor of the gravy was not very good it had ham and sausage in it. They should rethink the flavor combo. The service was subpar the waiter came and checked on us once I think after we got our food which was barely warm.

This place is OK, I had the Butter benedict. The eggs were hard boiled, the bread was hard and chewy, the ham looked like the left over end pieces and the hollandaise sauce was weak and not very flavorful. The service was fast and the waiter was friendly considering this was on Valentines day morning. I might try this place place again if the food improves, otherwise Id pass and go someplace else.

GREAT food. Everything is delicious but they’re so severely under staffed that it takes forever and they mess up orders frequently.

The food and service was excellent. Butters is really a hidden gem in Fort Collins. The portions are large and prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Our server was wonderful and always prompt. We had the streusel French toast and los muchachos burrito, both were delicious! Definitely worth a try, we will absolutely be back!

The food is really good. The menu is creative and well thought out. However in each of the 6 times I have been there it takes longer than most restaurants to get my food. This is well documented in other reviews as well.

Butters has surprised me. Upon finding this place tucked back into a strip center, I observed the menu boasts the smattering of unique options. For example, the breakfast burger offers grilled onions, avocado, and a side of beer-battered sidewinder fries. Grub takes a little longer to crank out of the kitchen here, so don’t expect a typical in-and-out, griddle-centric restaurant. I am certain that they whipped up my steel-cut oats from scratch. And, they for sure forming burgers by hand. And I can’t ask this enough: how in the world do they get their fries so crispy and uniform??? Give these guys a shot if you find your way onto Elizabeth. Breakfast joints are a dime a dozen, but Butters is flying under the radar. Attention to detail makes Butters a decent place for a breakfast that doesn’t have Snooze in the name, assuming you are not looking for a long wait and loud atmosphere.

Great breakfast and service, a hidden gem that is a little hard to find! I visited Butters recently for breakfast and was delighted by the food and service. The portion sizes are very large an they also have a bar so you can get beer, cocktails or morning adult drinks like Mimosas and Bloodies. I’ll be back soon because I want this restaurant to thrive!!! Check them out!
