This place is amazing. Okay, can’t believe it has taken me so ridiculously long to complete this review. It has been a year and a half ago since my family was driving through Fort Collins and we stopped to snatch a little breakfast at this absolute gem of a place. Even though it’s been a year and a half, I still remember the delicious food and the warm welcome of the owner, whose name has sadly slipped my mind. The coffee was strong and rich and I had a frittata which was the most memorable breakfast I had during my entire two-week vacation. Who knew that in this little town of Fort Collins, this quaint little coffee bar was cooking up such lovely wholesome unpretentious goodness at such reasonable prices? If I lived within an hour of this place I would find any excuse to visit that I could. I love to find these little gems on a long trip across the country. If you are on a trek, looking for some locally made healthy fare, stop in here. You won’t regret it.

Super cute! Seems like a nice quiet, cozy spot to get some work done. Got a couple coffees to go. I probably should have known better but my salted carmel latte was SO sweet. Like undrinkablely sweet. :(

I want to love Café Ardour, but I just can, t do it ! Today 9÷18÷14 I came into Café Ardour again, I’ve been here many times, I live in Fort Collins. I now ask before ordering if their wifi works because over the years I’ve had issues here. Today, the first thing I ask before ordering is if WiFi is up & running? I’m told everything is fine, I order, set-up, plug in and guess what? NOTHING! I’m sitting at Daz-Bog coffee 3 blocks away online posting. I don’t know about you, nothing ticks me off more than buying coffee and rolls only to have to leave blowing 6 bucks when I’m told ahead wifi works. Before you think it’s my CPU, it works everywhere but Café Ardour. The café & staff are attractive, if I didn’t need too work it may be ok, however with so many great coffeehouses in town, why gamble? Just go somewhere everything works.

Like hanging out here to clear my head and getting get the organic version of Jackie’s Java coffee with the snacks. Cute and down to earth place with nice bake goods and some specials. They have high quality food made fresh. Small portions for this round husky, but healthy and tasty.

This is an excellent café and one of my favorites in Old Town. It is an allergy-sensitive café, so you can always get gluten-free & dairy-free drinks and treats. They have local produce for healthy lunch options too. The wifi always works and there is always a comfy place to sit. Most of the girls who work there are sweet and helpful. They don’t accept credit card transactions under $ 5, so bring cash if you can!

They serve Jackie’s Java organic coffee here. It is locally grown and roasted. Full Circle Farms in Fort Collins. This is the first time I tried it and it was refreshing to go to a coffee place mid afternoon which still had plenty of light roast available. i am not so sure the coffee ended up sitting well long term… hard to say if it was that or something else. They also have an allergy-free bakery where they had several gluten free items. They also had stevia packets. Yea! Overall simple but nice place to get some coffee and treats. WiFi is available here so there were several folk hanging out on their laptops who looked like they were getting a lot of work done!

Very nice and cozy place. Stopped by for breakfast. Had ham and cheese frittata. Excellent food and very courteous staff. But only very few choices on the menu. Cappuccino was well made. Will come back again.

Quaint, little shop. Good place for studying or small groups/conversation. Coffee is pretty good. Limited menu. Smoothies are good. Please do not lose the Oregon Chai. Pastries pricey and not overly fresh.

This has been our spot to come on summer Sunday mornings for a bagel and a smoothie. Nothing fancy, just fresh and local fare in a relaxed atmosphere. We like that there is always a table outside and never a long wait for our order.

Great cozy place with decent coffee and pastries… EXCEPT for their prices! Pastries are homemade, yes, but way too expensive for the quality and portion size.

I’ve been a grad student in Fort Collins for a few years and I still go to ardour often to study. Some of the other coffee shops have resident homeless people that constantly mumble to themselves and stink up the place. Ardour on the other hand has great coffee and a great atmosphere!

What a great coffee shop this is. Delicious java, warm atmosphere, and I felt like an old friend when I walked in. Being handed coffee in a warm mug is a great touch.

This place was cool. They had really good coffee and it was a fun atmosphere. Starbucks would have an arduous time keeping up with Café Ardour.

Delicious Food. Local options. Cozy. This local café has some great local options and daily specials. The burrito was very flavorful and the sidewalk seating was cozy and fun.

My favorite café in FC. Lovely place to come and study. Love the Comptoir de Sud sugar they have for your coffee, nobody has that sugar!(pure cane sugar in rustic little sugar clumpulas, not that I’d ever be snobbish about anything as silly as what sugar a place has,…ahem!) Good food, nice art. Comfty place to hang out. People behind counter are always super nice. Like that they use local ingredients.

Great little café! The place seemed relatively busy but not at the expense of so much noise that you can’t concentrate on what you are doing! I went in and ordered a panini with rosemary ham. I have been on a real panini kick lately and luckily I managed to get one here! The panini had the classic gooey cheese that you come to associate with the sandwich! Yum! I also had a spiced coffee cake which was very tasty indeed! For my drink I was on a real chai tea kick lately and saw that they had kinds or chai that I was drinking so much of(I am sure they are good though… in fact I know it!) and decided to go in a different direction. I had the Yerba Matte Latte. I enjoyed the tea quite a bit and it is different! It definitely had a grassy, teay taste which is the joy of tasting so many different teas out there. the staff was very friendly and served me promptly which was appreciated. The atmosphere is cute and cuddly and there is very nice local wall art up for sale along the walls. There are so many coffee shops in town I have a hard one to sat that this it my only favorite. I just compile a list of favorites… plural. Café Ardour made it on there!

No matter if we’re in the middle of a summer heat wave and it’s raining fire outside, I need my hot cup(s) of coffee in the morning to start my day. The warmness of that Cup O’ Joe envelops my body in a snug, loving java hug. My body becomes alive with ardor… Fort Collins has many coffee houses, each one with it’s own specific ambiance. Some give the feeling of intellect with their studious atmosphere, surrounded by books and people working on their laptops. Some give the feeling of creativity with local artwork displayed colorfully on the walls and hosting open-mic for poetry readings. All offer the passion for coffee in a relaxing environment. Café Ardour is no exception. My latte was smooth, creamy, and very nice. I think this was one of the better lattes I’ve had in town.

Great little place, good for outdoor or indoor seating, lots of local art on the walls and a bright, pleasant atmosphere. Good place to come for studying or just hanging out. The coffee is fresh and hot and richly flavorful and always available in multiple varieties. The chai and baked goods are also first-rate. I only wish they were open later, closing at 7 in a college town is not ideal.
