I usually go to Firehouse Subs once a month because I love their subs and their ingredients. But tonight I went to Firehouse on Harmony and the manager on duty,(Alfonzo) was absolutely amazing. He provided excellent customer service to start. But when I slid my credit card to pay for my meal, it was declined. I said I would return with some cash or another card. He said not to worry, that he would take care of it, and He did! He saved me a trip to the bank! Acts of generosity and kindness do not come around like that often. I will be going to Firehouse even more now. I will be sure to bring enough money next time though! Thank you FIREHOUSE! and thank you Alonzo!

Used to love Firehouse! I became a regular; they usually remembered my order! Then, Firehouse started using smaller rolls… Not in length. I imagine this reduction will translate into increased profits for Firehouse. But, really?

Very good sandwich. Had the sub with roast beef, turkey and ham. Heavy on the meat toppings and veggies. Bread was very soft and tasted great. Seasonings were good as well. Fast service. Restaurant was clean which is always a plus. Always recommend Firehouse Subs.

We have been coming here since they opened, but this is the first review I’ve ever given them. Their sandwiches are much more expensive than they used to be and they no longer include a sliced pickle. The kids meal comes with a 1″ square treat, which is much smaller than it used to be(when they actually remembered to properly fill our order), BUT now it costs more! The food was just okay… nothing to brag about for the outrageous price(2 subs + 1 kids meal for $ 25!!!). We could’ve had the same quality food delivered to us for less. Sadly for them, I don’t think we’ll be coming back here anytime soon… if ever.

I didn’t realize it was a chain at first but for a chain sandwich place it was one of the better ones their BBQ tri tip sandwiches are slow roasted the ambiance is very nice the bread is fresh the service is good

Must have been a bad night! Ordered 3 subs and 2 of 3 were wrong! Took 25 minutes to get subs then additional 10 to get them corrected. Manager didn’t seem to care either, we saw 2 more people return the subs because they were also not right. Shape up Firehouse Subs or you will push customers back to Subway.

Nice big juicy sandwiches. Work buddies recommended this place and I’m happy! Great for a quick bite.

I’ve only had one sub twice, the first time it was good enough to make me go out of my way a second time and get it, not nearly as good or as filling the second time. They do have a large pop selection. Not much to add. First time was really good I thought it was 4.5 stars I was almost full with the largest size(which is quite a feat for me) Second time I was still hungry afterwards and I didn’t really enjoy the meal, it was more of a task(2.0 stars) So lets weigh it in on a 3 and call it an on night and then an off night, averaging the middle.

If you come to Firehouse subs, you’ll get a good sandwich. But the atmosphere(for me, anyway) inside the restaurant sucks, making the whole experience much less enjoyable. As a result, I’ve only been twice. I do like that you can get the nutritional info of your meal(definitely online, but I think they also post it). This helps me to make a good eating choice. But seriously, they’ve crammed in so many tables you have very little space to walk through the restaurant. It feels very claustrophobic to me. But if you are just there for the food, they certainly rank above a chain like Subway, so go for it!

What a great sub shop. My sister introduced me to this place in South Dakota, I was excited to get one here in Fort Collins. My favorite is the smoked pulled pork sub it has such great flavor. The place also has one awesome soda machine. The Meatball sub is my #2 choice. Very nice staff.

It was good– though not great. I was in a Carnivorous mood and ordered a Roast Beef sub… Didnt know they come hot — unless otherwise requested. Granted its in a different area of town, but I will still be loyal to the Backcountry and Pickle Barrel Deli.

Had the veggie sub, WORST experience at any restaurant in a long time. Soggy, hardly warm bread with wilted vegetables and no flavor whatsoever. While they made the sub I had to remind them on several occasions to leave the mushrooms out, which contain meat(they don’t tell you this upon ordering-vegetarians beware). In addition, I waited a very long time even though there was no line… won’t be coming back.

Great sub place! Great food, staff, atmosphere. Only complaint is the giant menu on the wall… the is text so small I can’t read it even leaning over the counter. Why have a giant menu that no one can read? Made me feel like I am a little old blind lady.

Awesome subs! I get the brisket and add bacon so delicious. Everything so far has been great. Welcome to firehouse!

Firehouse Subs is housed in the same place where Spicy Pickle used to be on Harmony and Timberline. I ordered the Meatball Sub. It had a good Italian sauce to it just like it should. Far too many times I get Meatball Subs where the sauce has a sweet flavor to it. It is tolerable for me but those of us who are smart know that it isn’t REAL tomato/spaghetti sauce. Firehouse also has what looks like a state of the art soda machine. Huge variety to pick from like Lime and Orange flavored Coke!

Good hot subs that are piled with meat(s), cheese and a good balance of mayo, onions, tomatoes and lettuce all between two pieces of toasted french bread. The flavors mixed very well with each other, even though there wasn’t enough mayo for me. I also tried the chili, very little use of the kidney beans, which is good thing. It was a little more like a soup then a chili though, but overall good tasting. The place was packed at lunch time, hardly any place to sit or park. They also have a large assortment of hot sauces and condiments for people to use.

Celebration of Mediocrity. My wife and I both had the Steak & Cheese and barley noticed the steak and cheese in all that bread. I also complained about the portion and was simply told«yeah, that’s what you get 4oz of meat.» So, my compliments to the photographer. Today was our first and last visit.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday. Sub was good, bread tasty and slightly sweet. Service was friendly and line went fairly quickly. The drinks are a different story though. They have one of the new 120+ selection Coke units in there. We were stacked up like cord wood waiting to get a simple cup of water. The 8 people in front of us, two were about 10 years old looking at all 120+ selections individually, really slowed the drink line down. They need to add another unit or limit the selections. A water dispenser separately would help most of us. Not a memorable lunch by any means but the big selection of bottles hot sauces was a nice touch. I thought it a bit pricey for what we got.

I was so excited when I found out that Firehouse was coming to Fort Collins. I had been once in Boulder and have thought about driving down just to get a delicious sandwich on many occasions. Now I don’t have to! I went in on Tuesday for lunch, which was the day after they opened. I expected things to be hectic, messy, and underwhelming. But I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was all very friendly, and they greet you as you walk in the door. Even though the place was packed, the service was speedy and all of the customers seemed to be put in a good mood by the friendly employees. I had the turkey bacon ranch sandwich, which was incredible. Can’t wait to return!
