Select Wood Floors Inc

My contractor hired Select Floors to sand and stain my hardwood floors, and install floors in my kitchen. I was told I had to live in a hotel for 7 days. I was never told they were done 2 days early, so I paid an extra $ 300 when I could have stayed in my home. When I returned I was surprised to see that they damaged my floor boards, broke a clock, broke a door handle, and the biggest surprise was the water on my carpet from a mini fridge that was in the room-​they had unplugged it and water had dripped all over the floor after defrost. I brought this to Jay’s (the owner) attention and he immediately blamed me because there was another stain from the dog. He eventually came over to inspect the damage and after I showed him the stain on the rug, which was still wet, he continued to blame me and wouldn’t listen to a word I had to say. I asked him to leave several times and he continued berating me, even after the door was shut. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had! I would stay far away from this company!
