First time I’d ever gone in and will definitely not go back. Order a burger medium rare and it comes out completely raw. Even the second one they brought out was only cooked in spots and raw in others. The manager who brought it could barely even apologize had to do it while walking away. My date and I weren’t even done eating and the waiter didn’t bother to ask if we wanted anything else. Just stated he was bringing the check. By far the worst food and inconsiderate service I’ve ever received. I do not recommend ever trying.

Good service, choose your own toppings bar. A little limited on the toppings for regular burger lovers, because they try to hit the off the mark variety. We tried the nachos, and they were good. Our server was great, and prompt. Every made their own burger and liked what they made.

Amazing burger. For the celiacs out there though, you should know that the French fries are not gluten free. I thought I saw in the reviews on here that they were, but the waiter said the oil they are fried in contains gluten. That said, they will bring out a gluten free menu if you ask for it and they are understanding. Safe place for the celiac and a legit burger.

I don’t know how anyone could give this place less than 5 stars. By far one of the best places in foco!!! If you don’t like it, that’s your issue, not theirs(considering you make up your own meal). The staff is always friendly and attentive. The only complaint is the limited seating in the waiting area, but that’s fixable.

A waiter dropped a stack of plates ONTOP of my 3 year old daughter. Broken glass everywhere. They shrugged it off like it was no big deal. What kind of customer service is that?

This was my second visit to Sfuft. The first time the service was a bit lacking. I was on lunch, and didn’t have a lot of time, but the server didn’t seem to understand that. Today, Helena waited on me. She even asked if I was on lunch from work! I had the Hawaiian burger, which was fantastic. I didn’t want to get too full, so I didn’t have any sides, just the burger. It was cooked perfectly, and it had the right proportions of ingredients so as to not be too messy. Overall, a great burger! It was a bit more expensive that perhaps warranted, but typical for downtown Fort Collins. Helena brought my check while I was still eating, which got me in and out in about 20 minutes.

I don’t give many 5 stars but this place makes building your own burger a fun, collaborative experience. I took my wife and two teenagers and we had a great time figuring out great names for our«creations» which you get to write on the order form. Mine was«Smokey the Bear»(thanks to my son’s inspiration) — combination of Pepper Jack, Smoked BBQ sauce, Sweet and Spicy Bacon, Jalapenos and Honey. Awesome.

I’ve pretty much tried everywhere in Fort Collins and Stuft is literally the best burger spot around. Customizable burgers at a great price. They have an out front patio on nice days and the staff is always very friendly. 5 out of 5, would always recommend!

I come to Stuft somewhat sporadically, but always for the same reason. I want a big burger that is going to create an absolutely disastrous mess. Let’s get this out of the way — the service can be a bit iffy. I’ve had a lot of empty beers and long waits at Stuft. Here’s the good part — as soon as your burger order goes in, you are in a countdown for wonderfulness to arrive. I have had ridiculous double burgers and veggie burgers, but I always get a fried egg — it’s the one thing I almost never have on burgers at home. Also, skip the fries and get the onion strings. Yum. There are places that do the byo-burger concept better, but for the price and location, Stuft is a great place to get a big messy bomb of comfort.

First time here, and I wish there was one closer to where I live. Their service was fabulous, fast and friendly. I’m not a huge fan of burgers, but the build-your-own option was the best. The burger tasted great, and their fries were amazing. Definitely will be coming back when I’m in this part of town again.

Damnit! I was so excited for this place. Cons: Booths were entirely uncomfortable. No pads, just hard wood. Both burgers came out extremely undercooked. We ordered med rare and medium and one was basically raw hamburger and the other rare. Fries on both plates were cold, unseasoned, and limp. Shake n bacon didn’t have much bacon. Pros: Service was fast and apologetic. Beer was cold. I’m going to chalk this crappy experience up to a new cook in training? The idea is there and the ingredients are good but this was not a good dining experience.

I haven’t been able to say I’m a huge fan of burgers ever since I became vegetarian. In restaurants, I’m usually given a store-bought black bean patty, with simple toppings to make a «meh» meal. That being said, Stuft just became the Burger Bar of my soul. Why? A. House made VEGAN veggie patty [I’m sure the meat is great, too…] B. The ability to make my own eccentric burger creation. C. Endless options for new creations — a choose your own adventure story! D. Quick service E. Who could NOT like a burger that you created yourself, but had no hand in physically making?! Literally no one. Let’s go back to the fact that the veggie burger at Stuft is probably one of my favorites I’ve had in a long while. The patty was delicious. And I’ve had many veggie burgers in my time. Maybe it adds to the deliciousness in the fact that a veggie burger is even offered to create with. Always big points for me when meat places try to include everyone. The creation: I’m very picky with what I want on my burgers, in general. Certain toppings are consuming triggers for me. Chances are I’ll go for the burger on the menu if they contain any of the following… caramelized onions… jalapenos…garlic…delicious cheese & spreads. So can you guess how I formulated my burger? All of those items, and then some. You can add up to 4 toppings for the set price of the burger, anything on top of that will be .50 cents each [which really isn’t too bad, unless you go crazy… and even then, I’d argue it’s worth it.] To order, you’ll look over the long tempting list of build your own burger items. You’ll take the provided pencil, slowly checking off the boxes to enhance your dining experience. After life decisions have been made, and bun types chosen, you’ll hand over your personally made burger menu and await the savory perfect masterpiece coming your way. My burger came out so quickly. When the waitress brought my creation out, I have to say… I was intimated. How was I going to eat this beautiful monstrosity? This stacked, piled high, packed with goodness burger? After hmm-ing and haa-ing, I finally went in for the kill. It was just as messy as you can imagine. After sneaking glances around, I saw that others were using hands and others cutting with fork/knife. I tried this«cutting a burger into many separate pieces thang» and… I gotta say, It kept me happy. No greasy grease everywhere. And I could pick up every single topping that fell off onto the plate. 100% win for all. Stop in at Stuft. Get some meat. Get some veggies. Get some fries. Create it how you want it, and savor a burger that’s completely made for you. There’s probably nothing better in this world. I’m already aching for a round 2.

You have to Build Your Own Burger at least once. I had a double beef burger w/green chili, chopped garlic, fried egg, apple-wood bacon, honey mustard and chipotle ketchup all on a warm glazed donut… yeah. Pretty delicious if I do say so myself and very hard to stay awake after you’re done. Way to go guys.

This place is amazing!!! My husband and I created our own burgers. They were perfectly cooked which may be harder to do because the patty’s were thin but delicious! The fries were also a hit. All of the toppings were tasty! We were a little cold if not we would have ordered an alcoholic milkshake. I can’t wait to come back and have another burger here!!!

Tasty burgers and delicious fries. I think the only thing I didn’t like about this place is how much I paid for everything. I feel like a burger, fries, and shake should be around $ 10 total per person. I know it’s more but I struggle mentally paying $ 20 a person. The burgers are great and the fries rock as well. I think I’ll try the burger that has a glazed donut as the bun next time. The location is fun and the service was good.

Burgers were amazing, fries were amazing. Next time I need to try a milkshake! The toppings are fully customizable and I loved all the options. Loved the garage door, makes you feel like you’re outside without having to eat outside(if you don’t want to), can’t wait to go back!

Went here with a couple of buddies the other night. Got a pretty brutal burger and fries. I got a glazed donut as a bun with 3 burger patties cooked medium rare with American cheese. Bacon and a fried egg on it were absolutely delicious. The bun didn’t hold up very well but it tasted good. I would definitely check this place out again. Fries were also a bonus. Ate way too fast to enjoy it. I was starving. Definitely was good though.

Yes, yes, yes! I didn’t know I could be such a big fan over a burger joint, but I am now. This was a recommendation from a friend and after this experience I will forever take his advice. The burgers: Cooked perfectly. Buns were semi sweet and delicious. Sauces were great. Size was ideal, leaving me full but not bursting with nothing left on my plate Fries: Thin and crunchy. I got the garlic Parmesan. Just do it. Milkshakes: This was the only weakness of the meal. We got these to go and I just wasn’t impressed. Each milkshake, regardless of flavor, is made with vanilla ice cream, the flavor is added later. I had a chocolate milkshake with cap’n crunch, and the chocolate flavor just was’t there. Service: AWESOME! This woman was probably the best server I’ve had. She went through the required motions without dragging on. She was friendly and super fast.

Great for pickup. Fries are delicate and salty and remind me of what would be found at an upscale seaside resort. Burger was huge, shoestring onions were delicious. Love the queso! Will be back.

Great burger bar. This place is a must for those that want to create the ultimate burger of their choice, did I mention the pretzel bun?! Along with a decent beer selection this place has some amazing fries, pay extra and get the Parmesan garlic fries… it’s worth every penny!
