Large selection of beer on tap to choose from. Friendly staff and decent prices. Think happy hour offers $ 1 off all beers and some discount on appetizers.

This is a top 10 beer bar in the entire USA. Great choices that they change up quite often. You can sample anything and put together a beer flight of tour choice. I would highly recommend this place if you love beer!!!

I had heard this place had a ton of taps, but that was an understatement. The bar tender seemed to take an actual interest in helping me find a beer I would like. The place was busy so for him to take a minute and give me a pretty extensive run down of some beers was much appreciated. I also got the French dip which was really, really good and I would highly recommend it. All that mixed with some live music made for a great experience.

Fantastic place, great beer selection(over 70 on tap). An awesome food menu, not too many, but enough choices. I had the lamb & beef sliders, they’re topped with an onion marmalade, cherry tomatoes, & goat cheese. They present it smartly as well, placing arugula under the patty to prevent the bun getting soaked with burger juice. My kind of place!

Plenty of beer on tap. If you’re looking for a place that has a good and large selection of draft and craft brew in town, this is it.

Incredibly knowledgable on beer. Friendly, clean. Great ambiance, outdoor area. Admittedly, we only drank here so I can’t vouch on food. Looked good coming out of kitchen. Now, onto the beer. Amazing fresh, expansive selection. Served in correct glass which is always refreshing. Very knowledgable on beers, Brewers, styles and recommendations. A must hit if you like beer in Ft. Collins.

Had a big group join us and the server was AWESOME(sorry I forgot his name…). He was able to explain their range of beers very well. I had the flight and experienced some beers that I would have never tasted. Some we were warned that they would be hard to drink… I appreciate his honesty. Downside, is the price. I thought is was a bit expensive for tasters. Didn’t really have that much of their food… but what we had was only marginal. Would have given them only Three stars for food and beer, but their wait staff earned another point from me(both times we went).

Update — — — After reading my review, the owner contacted me with a sincere apology and asked me for details on the event cited below. He heard me, addressed the underlying issue with his staff, and made things right by me. I was pleased to see that he cared and wanted to bring resolution. Changing my rating from one star to four for the way the problem was addressed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ I ordered a beer on tap that I frequently buy bottled from the liquor store and consider my go-to saison. I know what it’s supposed to taste like, but the crap coming out of that tap did not taste like the bottled version. It was flat-tasting and had no saison-y character. But that’s not the bad thing — things can go wrong and food/beer can come out wrong. The bad thing is that Tap n Handle wouldn’t make it right. They wouldn’t replace the beer. Just told me they were sorry and moved on. Terrible customer service. That’s very likely the last beer I buy there.

So enjoying sitting in the patio area listening to Led Zep, Dead, and Bob Marley. Beer is good and the cheese sticks and onion rings we had we really tasty. This was a great little find. It’s a must stop in. Plus it won’t set you back much.

We were looking for a bar to watch a hockey game. I called the Tap and Handle, and the bartender said yes they had the game going on. We got there within the next 10 minutes. It was pretty quiet on a Sunday, just a few others in the bar. Our bartender was pretty friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of beers on tap, I saw a few from Oregon. We just had Sunday dinner, and wanted something light to go with our beers and the hockey game. We ordered the onion rings, which were pretty fantastic. Lightly beer battered with a side of poblano ranch. Perfect cap to our Sunday. If we had more hours in the day, we probably would’ve stayed and had another beer. We had a couple of local beers from Odell’s and left handed brewing. Great place to taste local and other breweries from around the country. Great pub food to boot. They also have darts and a few other misc games if you’re in the mood for it.

This is my bar. Hands down. Of all the bars in Fort Collins, this place is always at the top of my list. First off, the beer selection. It’s huge, that’s always a plus. I’ve gotten hooked on at least 3 beers from places I’ve never known of before from here. The food. Now for a bar joint, the food is amazing. I’ve gotten sandwiches, platters and some other unusual fare from here and all of it has been fantastic. One of the few places where price is not an issue for me based on the quality. And quite possibly a super bonus for me is… *drumroll please*… DARTS! real f’ing darts! Not the lame plastic ones. Real metal and cork darts! The stuff that will send you to a hospital if you’re an a$$-hat. The place is never too crowded either, always a bonus. In summary, this is MY kinda bar

Good beers on tap. Unique beers, but bartenders are nothing more than mediocre. Was carded three times during my visit where I order four beers. ‘Haphazard’ would be a good descriptor of how things are ran.

Beer bar with amazing hand made bar food. They consistently have the best selection of beers on tap. By far one of my favorite places to go for their live blues music in the summers. The staff is amazing and super helpful.

Food =?(Looked good from a far) Price = 4(BUT… this is not a cheap spot… very unique and CO offerings) Experience = 3(bar service was underwhelming… with all the available choices, I would have liked a little more guidance from the bartender) Nice ideas… cool bluegrass pickup group in the back on my Monday visit.

Cool place, decent atmosphere. As a craft beer drinker, I find the menu pleasing. Has an outside patio. Almost everything is $ 6+ for one pint. With most pints $ 7+ Cant afford to drink here but would recommend if money is no object to you.

This was a welcome respite from the steady stream of touristy spots. I felt like a local from the moment I took a seat at the bar. Friendly, knowledgeable bartender and relaxed atmosphere. Seemed to be several regulars who stopped by. Excellent seating indoors and out. Phenomenal beer menu. What’s not to love? I would recommend stopping here to queue up your brewery stops.

I’m upping my rating for several reasons… — Personable vibe: So many regulars, especially at the blues jam on Thursday nights. You’re almost guaranteed to make friends(except for Kelly, who hates trumpet players). — Beer selection and pricing: Sure you can find some of the beers they serve for a lower price elsewhere, but would you rather have a common beer for $ 6 per pint or something that is amazing, that nobody else is serving within 50 – 100 miles(or more), for $ 7 per pint? — Cap, the beertender: He doesn’t play favorites with customers. I’ve never waited at the bar longer than 30 seconds before he asked me what I needed. Just walk up to the bar and look thirsty. — Music: There’s always something happening and there is rarely, if ever, a cover. Forget the food. It’s not bad, but If you’re seeking to sate your foodie fantasy and you end up here, frankly, you’re a pretty sh*tty foodie and you don’t know how to use this website. If you like good beer and other people who like good beer, Tap and Handle rocks!

The tap selection is great. The knowledge of the bartender was comforting. He was able to answer questions and make thoughtful recommendations. The way it should be. They have a pool lounge and an arcade room with lots of pinball machines. Where has this place been all my life? All the food is scratch made and most are beer infused. We ordered the Irish fries. What can I say about hand cut fries with bacon(umm bacon) Irish cheddar and sour cream. And the Mac and cheese. Yumm. And the prices… cant beat’um. Come and try for yourself. Enough said.
