Go to the boot, home of the 45 minute French fries. Went in for lunch last week. The place was empty and we were directed to the sweet rooftop for a tap takeover. Got a beer and ordered a French dip. 30 minutes later the waitress came back and said something went wrong with the machine and the kitchen didn’t get our orders. 15 minutes later the sandwich arrives without fries because they aren’t done yet. 10 minutes later I am done with my sandwich and the fries show up. I’m pretty sure they took so long because they bought them at McDonald’s down the street. No refills on my water. The check came and had the wrong drinks on it. The restaurant needs help in the front and back of the house. Never again.

The rooftop patio at this restaurant is amazing, but the food is nothing to write home about… in fact I don’t think I’d go back here at all. They had a live band, but it wasn’t doing anything for the atmosphere either. The service was pretty poor as well, it took almost 15 minutes to get the two beers we ordered. This restaurant might be wonderful if it changed hands…

Great roof, great location, pretty bad food for pretty high prices. TERRIBLE service. The roof is PERFECT for a beautiful day. It’s a great place to hang out and have some beers. The happy hour prices are pretty standard for Fort Collins($ 4 crafts, $ 3 domestics). If you’re interested, they have $ 1 «train shots» every time the train passes. The food, however, is a total no-go. The burgers are WAY overpriced($ 14??) for the quality. The only thing worth ordering are the appetizers — we like the bar pickles. Another aspect is the service — it’s pretty bad. The staff are pretty slow and are in general pretty uninterested. Our waitress didn’t bother to inform us that the beer we ordered was the one that didn’t fall under the happy hour deals until after we got the bill. When we specifically expressed interest in the happy hour. Two thumbs down.

Torn here between 3−4*… Good service bumps them up. We came for lunch and were waved to the roof deck. There were no tables with an umbrella available… Not a good thing as it turned out… You need to have one on a hot day! The waitress did try to get another umbrella for us but it didn’t fit the table. I recommend they invest in more umbrellas. The view was nice though and music played. They have a good deal for half sandwich and soup or salad for $ 8 and three of us had that. The problem came out with the burger order… Too rare and it had to be sent back. They were nice though and offered to take it off the bill. They also brought a new one out. So 3.5* overall… Don’t know that I would return but I think it is a good place to check out and close to campus and the Max station.

This is a fun spot near CSU. Relatively new and brings a different atmosphere to area. This place has a western bar feel to it. They have a train shot that they offer ONLY when a train is passing by. I know because a girl got denied the train shot while I was there. You have to wait for the train, silly girl! They have multiple beers on tap and others in a bottle. The food is pretty good. I had the southwest wrap and very much enjoyed it. The portions are generous so come hungry or you’ll be carrying a to-go box. They also do live music. The night I was there, they had a country band from Cheyenne playing some good covers and some of their own stuff. This place was a very pleasant surprise.
