Btw Unilocal readers, Yum Yum’s is a restaurant, Ma’s Juice Bar is the bar there. So don’t complain about that(Cough cough). Yes, it is a little more expensive than the McDonalds next door but if you finish their serving sizes in ONE sitting that’s your own fault. I get 3 meals out of their Meat Combo plate! Worth every penny.

Someone brought me takeout and it was delicious! Very generous portions, great flavor, high quality ingredients. The lamb plate was great– lamb was tender and very tasty, hummus was great, and the salad was wonderful too. Beef shawarma my husband had had a great flavor. Can’t complain!

Best service I have had in Ft Collins, super effective and efficient, but as nice and competent as any critic would love. Really good people working there. Had the gyros tonite, sandwiches for everybody, and except for no tziki sauce,(but a very good tahini), the food was all we could ask for — delicious, prepared wonderfully, tender and slightly charred on the outside(yum). Served on a large pita with generous portions of vegetables that still didn’t equal the gi=normous pile of delicious meat. Thanks so much for not making me cook in the heat, and providing such a satisfying meal!

The gyros are still huge with meat overload; they must have some big hands in the kitchen. And there was plenty of Tzatziki sauce, my only previous complaint. The platters seem rather pricy; the gyros are a deal.

Unforunately there is no Zero star to rate the restaurant. By the way, this not a restaurant, this is a BAAAR. Briefly, worst middle eastern restaurant in the area.

What a sloppy mess. We ordered two of our sandwiches gluten free, which means rice instead of pita. They Kafta Kabob and Hummus sandwich was slopped on top of the rice instead of the rice being packaged on the side. Everything was mixed together and oozing out of the side of the container when it arrived(we had ours delivered). The Kafta was charred so badly the flavor was lost. The hummus had amazing flavor but was ruined by the bits of rice. The gyro sandwiches were nice but be aware that they come with tahini sauce on them. We also ordered the cucumber and yogurt — which comes without yogurt. I have pictures which I would love to share but sadly Unilocal doesn’t allow.

Yum Yum used to be a nice clean place to get a yummy plate of food or sandwich we frequented there for over 20 years… the previous owners actually took pride in what they served to people… today my family and I ate there for the first since they changed ownership and had to leave hungry as the food was inedible… first of all we waited over 45 minutes to even get our food… we watched two other tables that came in after we ordered our food get served way before us… then finally the food came after my husband went up and asked them what happened… The chicken they served me was as dry, cold and hard as a shoe and my daughters meat was burned… the tabouli sadly tasted rancid(Heath department time rancid!).and when my daughter tried to return her food to let them know it was burned the server just looked at her and said«OKAAAYY!»…with a look like what am I suppose to do… hmmm not the normal response we had in mind for making people wait 45 minutes and serve them dried out COLD burned meat and rancid salad… eventually a nice girl that worked there apologized and said that they would recook it…(recook it haha) it tasted like it had already been recooked a thousand times… by that time my daughter lost her appetite after she sampled my food that was just as terrible. Bottom line: I know the previous owners would have been embarrassed to serve food like this to anyone… and to top it off it didn’t taste like Authentic Med food anyway… I will spare the rest of the detail and cut to the point… a restaurant that treats their customers like this and serves such unacceptable, old tasting cold food making you wait for that long with out batting an eye lash does not deserve anyones business if you ask me… finale is that we can never return to a restaurant that once we had loved… I wish them the best however they need to rethink the way they treat people and serve fresh Authentic food!

Started off with an alcoholic smoothie, it was blended so perfectly that I almost couldn’t find the alcohol. My boyfriend had the Gyros plate. I think they may have the best Gyro meat in town. It’s well seasoned and melts in your mouth. I had a chicken plate and asked for it to be a little spicy. It was hotter than I expected, though I am a little bit of a wuss when it comes to spicy. The rice was simple but perfect. The salad was a fresh relief from the heat of my chicken. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner and/or drinks.

Tasty food! Hummus was properly garlicky and tahini-y. I liked the lentil and rice combination and generous portions. Service was a bit of a mess. Hippie kids ought to be hustling a little bit more with the jobs they can get in this economy. Don’t come to work stoned!

Solid and consistent food quality, fun atmosphere. I have only been when my young kids were with me, and it’s a bit of a bar scene… And the staff has always been GREAT with my kids. Fun place to take them and good food and value. We haven’t made it yet for an event there — like belly dancing or live music — but hope to. With a few more visits, it feels like it could be a bit of a Cheers location — where everybody knows your name, in the best way. One complaint — the TVs. We find them distracting and, on a personal level, often inappropriate for the kiddos… Which I can understand in a bar, but when we have been there, nobody BUT my kids seemed to be interested, so maybe they don’t need to be on at all? PS — The only mixed drink I have had there — and a couple of times — was great. Shared parking lot can fill up — biking and walking are great options.

Preface: I don’t know Jack about Mediterranean food. So this review is based purely on flavor. The Shawarma wrap with chicken was goooooddd. It wasn’t overloaded with vegetables or meat, which was seasoned appropriately and distributed well throughout the wrap. The downside is that it doesn’t come with any sides and is somewhat filling. Yep, total American here. I know. In conclusion, this place will be tasty and delicious… if you don’t know jack about mediterranean food.

I enjoy Yum Yum’s. The family that owns it are very nice people. Food is solid Mediterranean fare, more genuine then the Med franchises in town. And, the attached juice bar has both alcohol-infused smoothies and stand-up comedy!

The $ 5 gyro(if you go to the window — cash only) is pretty clutch. love the juice bar and the bartender is always friendly. The wait has been a bit iffy the last few times I’ve been there for lunch hours, but I’ve always left satisfied.

I could go on about this place for an hour if I wanted! Looooooooove it!!! If I’m in a hurry, or want something cheap, I go with the Sheesh T’ouk pita sandwich. You can order this at the«$ 5 Gyro» window which is really convenient. The chicken has the most flavorful delicious seasoning and I love the sauce on it. It is pretty big too and I always save half of it as a snack for later. I’ve recently been getting the Sheesh T’ouk dinner plate which is MASSIVE. It’s a bit pricey but it lasts me 2 or 3 meals which is nice. My boyfriend always gets the chicken shwarma, which is also a favorite there. There juice bar is delicious also and way cheaper than Whole Foods or online juices. Love this place. definitely stop in.

This place serves nothing but fake middle eastern food! After reading the reviews on Unilocal,I stopped here for lunch. I ordered Falafel plate and Shish Kabob plate. Ugh, this place is terrible and not actually a middle eastern restaurant! The food was really bad! Very very bad! The Falafel was tough, dry, and tasteless! The inside of it was not green at all! Shish Kabob was something to laugh at(see the picture)! How on earth they make thin and overcooked sliced chicken breasts, no cubes, no skewers and call that Chicken Shish Kabob? I’m an Arab, so I know what good middle eastern food tastes like. Call this food anything but middle eastern food!
