I like it here. I get what I need and I haven’t had issues at tge registers. Usually fast and friendly service. I think the layout is a bit confusing. …but overall not a bad experience. They have booze here(wine and hard liquor) so if you’re feeling blue you can grab a bottle of tequila and tilt your head back with some shots.

I’m pretty sure they have a competition to see which cashier is the slowest. Been inline for 20 minutes and we have only gone through 3 shoppers. Every register but one is open. The costs don’t beat off base and the service is really slow not really worth it to shop here.

Although I’ve have shopped in the BX many times during my previous assignment here(avg 3 star service, nothing special). This review is based over the past couple of months of shopping as I have returned to the local area. Seems like every time I go in there, I have an issue with a discrepancy with the ticket price of the I am looking the purchase. Majority of the staff appears to not care about the customers and some of the inventory is over priced to be in the BX. If you shop here, be aware of the ticket price and ensure that is the price scanned at the register. You’ll get ripped off, because the personnel that changes the price in the system or the price tag doesn’t add up properly.

Average PX/BX. Walking in, it’ll remind you of the Kadena BX Mall entrance in Okinawa(if you’ve been stationed there recently) – but crowded with stalls, dimmed, and with low ceilings. To your left and right are little stands in the middle of the aisles; the food court is on the left side, along with a path leading to the commissary. Decent selection of men’s clothing and cologne. I’m pretty disappointed with the fact that the«pride section» is limited to two metal racks with merely stickers, mugs, and key chains. The clearance section is located all the way in the back, in the same area as the electronics. If you’re fond of grilling, you might as well buy a grill and accessories elsewhere if you can. There’s hardly anything to choose from here. Maybe it’s because today is Thursday, but it wasn’t busy at all in the morning hours. The entire place was uncomfortably quiet; this PX actually reminds me more of an overstocked Target than a PX/BX/MCX/NEX etc. JBMDL is the second closest major military base – outside of Fort Hamilton in NY – to North Jersey; it’s only about 1.5 hours away. The NFCU is on the Navy side/Lakehurst and in the shopping plaza in Browns Mills.

A decent exchange for a military base. I have seen much nicer exchanges but it is not terrible. It is kept pretty clean and organized. The electronics department is rather small, as well as the other departments. I would recommend looking online first at the exchange.

I have loved what they have done since the renovation, although I am still getting used to it. Customer service is good, staff is helpful, and there are lots of quality items. It is what it is, however. If you have been to one PX, you have been to them all. Although, I will say this one is a lot bigger than most, with a fairly decent sized food court and extra stores.

It’s got some good things, and some bad things, but is basically ok. First, the good. The commissary is excellent, and the military clothing sales shop is pretty well stocked and has a very nice selection. Now for the bad, the food court in the PX is truly awful, just about everything there is overpriced and a recipe for an upset stomach. If you’re a servicemember on post, you’d be better off going to a military dining facility to eat. The main PX itself is okay, but nothing special. I’ve seen Post Exchanges that were better stocked and equipped, and ones that were much smaller.
