The cook was decent but the cashier was disgusting. Boxers hanging out, depressing demeanor. Complete slug this guy. The equipment looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. I feared the food would suffer from germs or bacteria but I was TDY and I really wanted a Philly cheesesteak. Sure enough, I’ve been having stomach aches all night. You’re better off buying a couple groceries from the commissary. Completely ruined my weekend.

3.5 Stars. Simply put, if you must eat at the AAFES food court, Charley’s is your best bet. Selections include a variety of different grilled subs/​wraps, including the buffalo chicken and the three cheesesteak, which are both good choices. Add some fries (and pour on the vinegar) for a decent side. Simple, yet decent eating on base.
