We stayed at Janet and Bear’s(Janet’s very lovable dog) place for the evening and both were extremely welcoming. Janet was helpful from the first phone call we made. She was very knowledgeable and hospitable. We would definitely stay there again if we ever go back to that area. She made an amazing and hearty breakfast and it was very relaxing. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable; modern and large bathroom in the bedroom. We were fortunate to have met her.

We were so thrilled with Janet and our stay at Crater Lake bed & breakfast. Janet is warm and welcoming, and a really great host. If you have four legged travel companions I would especially recommend staying here, as CLBB is very pet friendly! Perhaps one of the best parts of our stay was when Janet offered to watch our dog so that we could go hike crater lake. As you probably know if you’re going to Crater Lake, dogs are only allowed in certain areas in the park, only a couple of the trails and the main roads, but none of the hikes we really wanted to do. We were extremely nervous to leave our dog at first, but Janet put us right at ease and she took great care of our eight month old Shiba. She has a smaller fenced area for the dogs to play(Janet also has a dog named Bear, and he’s great) and she only leaves the dogs outside when she is out there to watch them other than that they are kept inside the house. The house is about 10 miles from the entrance to crater Lake, which appears to be about as close as you can get without staying at the resort or in Mazama campground. There are three guestrooms, we stayed in the nautical room on the ground floor because we have a dog and there is a separate entrance to the backyard so that we could take her out to eliminate. there is no fence on the large back yard so we had to take her out on the leash, but Janet does have a smaller fenced area for the dogs to be off leash. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. Janet made stuffed peach cobbler French toast sausage and there was plenty of delicious fresh fruit as well as coffee and tea and muffins and scones. She also provides a small fridge for you to keep your own cold items and allows you to use her kitchen if you want to prepare anything for yourself for dinner or make a picnic for your day at crater Lake which is what we did. We will definitely be returning to see Janet and stay at Crater Lake Bed & Breakfast!

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our road trip to Whistler, Banff & Jasper back in May of this year. The breakfast Janet made was delicious and so much food that there was no way just the two of us could finish it. Janet was very sweet and sent us lots of information before our trip to Crater Lake. We followed her instructions to the«T» since neither our GPS or our iPhone(with AT&T at the time) could find the B&B. I liked that it was a short drive to Crater Lake from the B&B. The valley is a scenery with cows and pastures. We had lunch in town where there was a lot more selection for food. We had dinner at Melita’s and it was average«comfort» food but there was not much else around in close proximity. The service was more cordial than other hick/red neck places I’ve been to before. I think it would have been better for us to head into town even if it was a farther drive.

Charming country house just outside of Crater Lake National Park. Three well apportioned rooms, with newer bathrooms and great views of the valley. Breakfast was filling and tasty and the proprietor, Janet, was very kind and accommodating. FYI, two dogs live in the house, but do not go into the guest rooms. They were both super friendly and adorable, so if you like dogs like we do this is actually a plus!
