We found the Crater Lake Country Suites by accident two years ago but what a wonderful find! We returned this year and enjoyed our stay, sitting by the camp fire in the evening and meeting new friends. The owners are delightful and very warm and friendly. Their rates are very fair, the rooms are very clean and having the kitchen units are helpful incase you decide you would like to prepare your own food. Both visits we spotted eagles!
You are less than 30 minutes from Crater Lake without the crowds.

I stayed at Crater Lake Country Suites for one night during a road trip to Central Oregon. We were lucky enough to find this place after all other accommodations in the area were booked. I have to say that this place was a gem. The room we stayed in had an adjoining living area that was very spacious and inviting. Their rates were fair and their amenities included free Wi-Fi, a campfire pit and picnic table. If you’re looking for a nice place with serene views and quiet, this is the place to stay… I would highly recommend it.
