Just bought a fabulous real cowhide with gold foil accents from BDC. They were extremely helpful at the showroom. They even took the cowhide down so I could see how the shape looked on the floor. One thing to note — most of their tables and cabinets are made with real solid wood. You can’t find this kind of quality in department furniture stores anymore. Everything is hallowed out wood veneer at the commercial stores. It’s worth your time to check this place out.

Poor quality, mostly knockoff items, customer service dreadful!

There’s eclectic and then there’s weird. This place is both. I’ve never seen quite such a mish-most of stuff. Along with some truly bizarre(borderline hideous) statuary and accessories there are some totally magnificent wood furniture pieces. They had possibly the coolest looking dining room table I’ve ever seen. Of course, along with the really good stuff comes really high prices. So, if you’re looking for something in décor and you aren’t sure exactly what you want, give this place a shot. You might find it… or not… it could easily go either way.

I’ve driven by this place so many times, but never stopped to check it out. Until now!!! What a find! Fantastic outdoor furniture, exotic fountains, unusual planters, and an array of incidental doo-dads. That said, much of it is not my taste or style — me, of the more mid-century modern groove — however, there’s a lot of very cool stuff that would definitely work in a mid-century and/or modern setting. Prices, alas, are definitely on the high side. Nonetheless, I say save those pennies for that one or two pieces that you simply MUST have!!! It’ll all be well-worth it from BDC!!! I know that I’ll definitely be saving up for a few items to enhance the home… :D

Here’s a fun fact: broward design center sells console’s from Bali and Thailand for around $ 950. At abc home and carpet in NYC super similar console is $ 3k. And in Thailand and Bali similar console is $ 1450-$ 1900 plus shipping to the us… This is why Broward Design Center ROCKS.

The store and things they have are awesome. If you are going there, plan on spending a couple hours because they have a TON of unique things. I just wanted one of everything. It’s defiantly not cheap but neither is the quality and uniqueness of the things they carry. I have purchased several things from them and have been very happy with the quality and service. Just keep in mind this is not some mass produced City Furniture crap. Oh they will negotiate on price to make a sale. Huge fan of this store!!!

I went to the Broward Design Center with a friend in May so they had a lot of summer furniture on display. Their selection of outdoor seating outside the store was really impressive and compared to other furniture stores it was pretty well priced. Inside the store they had a wide range of tables and shelves and they seemed to offer everything to completely remodel any living /dining room. I didn’t notice any bed frames but I’m guessing they could probably order something for you. My friend got a good deal on a book shelve here and he wanted to go back and check out their latest delivery. I won’t be a customer since I don’t live in Ft. Lauderdale but if I did then I’d definitely be checking this place out for my furniture needs.
