Ensemble Collection

Great stuff, but within minutes of a purchase, someone at the company stole our credit card and stuff was charged elsewhere.
A real bummer, because they have such a good selection of stuff. But, clearly they value your credit card number over actual business.
[Yes, I’m well aware that «Joe M» will be sure to pay to have this review removed soon, but it’s so sad that they would rather run a crooked business and play Whack-​a-​mole with pissed off customers, than have a legitimate business with happy customers. :(]

I wrote a review about a month ago which was taken down… I wonder how reliable Unilocal is??? My critique on Ensemble basically said that they were SCAM ARTISTS…
THIEVES, UNRELIABLE and TOTALLY DISHONEST… There merchandise is NOT what they represent it to be… It comes damaged and they do not stand by it… They do not return phone calls. They just disappear!!! They also own Natuzzi…
Do your self a favor and do not patronize them… I’ve seen other reviews that confirm my convictions…

OBVIOUSLY Unilocal removes reviews. Stay away from this store. It is a sham. They do not return phone calls, they do not stand behind there products. They say there product is from Italy. We have PROOF its from China. There prices do not match the product. I have seen numerous poor reviews of Ensemble collection and its owner Joe, only to see the negative reviews are always removed from this site. PS Unilocal asked me to be more specific. OK we spent almost 90K at this store. The first time we sat on a chair, it broke. The furniture came damaged, they do not stand by there product…

i recently wrote a review but Unilocal removed it, maybe I was entirely to honest with my experience. Let me start again…
I had the worst customer service at this store. I was lied to and felt ripped off. I will never step foot over their threshold.
I ordered $ 700+ lamp, and was told when it would arrive. I believe if memory serves me right it was to be in the store within 3 – 4 weeks. After the 3 week mark we started calling every weekend to see where our lamp was. The response was always…“it’s not in yet” Finally, I was so angry after nearly 7 weeks of waiting I walked in asking for my purchase or demanding my $$ back. Low and behold the lamp was in the stockroom the entire time.
FYI… The store isn’t that big where a lamp could be misplaced.
Never again.

I have been to both the main store and the children’s store for the Ensemble Collection. They are apparently quite popular because they are currently expanding their name into several additional store fronts in the surrounding buildings. This review is dealing with the storefront that is the Children’s store.
I have walked past the Children’s store many times before today and have always been fascinated by the designs. It is the Modern stylings that evoke form, materiality and pure function. As I entered the store, I was greeted by the lone associate. I asked her about the molded elephant form in the front of the store that had drawn me in. As she told me about it, I had to contain myself as she used brand name designers to validate the inventory and the proceeded to mangle their history and misappropriate their styles. My elitist design thoughts aside…
I thanked her for the information and moved through the store. I did find several things that I found to be very nice in their aesthetic. Unfortunately, I was a tad bit shocked by the prices. I left the store without the molded elephant and without the yellow kitty floor lamp or the orange teddy bear floor lamp. Before I make that sort of investment based solely on the source of the design, I really need to do more research and looking around. I might return based upon what I find.

Super cute shop with some great brands: Missoni, Kartell, Eames. So many delicious modern treasures to be had.
