My first visit to Ferdos I picked up the Shish Tawook lunch platter for and I have to admit, the chicken was excellent, with the combination of the spices and the grill flavor. The portion size was perfect for and very filling. I tend to make lunch my large meal during the week and amount was enough to fill me up. My meal also came with a side salad, pita with a generous amount of Hummus. To quote the famous Austrian, «I’ll be back».

Love the lamb shank here. Home cooked style and overall a healthier menu than many other places close by. When I want a meal I can feel good about eating I go to Ferdos when I’m in the area.

Love it. The Gyros here are so good and the price is right. I usually go during lunch time and my work colleagues and I are always satisfied. I have been going to Ferdos for at least six years and I never get tired of it.

Good Mediterranean option in the area. Food is very tasty and service is great. The décor is nice. The Kibbi is great! Very few places have this so it’s exciting to see this dish.

We went, with some trepidation, on a Saturday night. We feared a belly dancing madhouse. Actually, it was quite calm and delightful. Our server, Daphne, truly made the night for us. She was just really on the ball — a rare delight! We are still searching for good Mediterranean(Turkish/Greek) food here in SoFla. Too many bad«gyros» made from sliced meatloaf, etc. Where are the fresh spit-grilled meats or the charcoal-grilled fish? Sigh. I know, they are back in London. :) We ordered some apps — hummus, falafels, and smelt — they were out of the smelt so we asked for fried kibbe instead. All good. For a main I combined an order of chicken wings off the app list with a big greek salad. Winner! The wings really are phenomenal here — do not miss them. Nice and crispy, big, and with a lovely lemon/herb vinaigrette. Mister had a gyro and it was pretty good — perhaps not prepared in house on a spit but definitely cut from one(and perhaps baked or fried on site). This is a case of giving the food probably a 3.5 and the service definitely taking it up a notch. OH! The belly dancing. Yes, that happens a couple of times on Saturday nights. It’s a bit loud(piped over the stereo) and the lights go into«disco» mode. The belly dancer was lovely and she gyrated around, making most of the men(who were with their wives) look decidedly uncomfortable. A nice novelty but, for us at least, not a necessary part of the experience.

Excellent service and delicious food, this is such a great place, one of my favorites places in the area. If you are looking for authentic Lebanese food this is the right place. On Saturdays they have a belly dancer, Overall I always had an amazing experience at Ferdos Grill for lunch or dinner.

I have been here a few times and it never fails. I usually beg the appetizer sampler with a portion of rice since I’m vegetarian and it’s fulling. Reasonably priced lunch specials and great service is perfect if you plan on going during the week. On Saturdays they have a belly dancer around 8pm and she is entertaining and engaging, which keeps the patrons happy. One thing is the music is super loud even after the show is over which makes it difficult to have a conversation. Overall, I enjoy having lunch or dinner at this restaurant and will be a loyal patron.

Such a great place. So affordable and the food is very good, their salad in particular is very tasty, I always order double salad instead of the rice. I come often for their lunch special, and believe me, you can’t beat the price for what you get, it also comes with coffee or iced tea. Everything is always delicious and the service is great as well.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Very authentic Lebanese food. Loved the labneh, grape leave rolls and the kibbee. Spent a good 2 hours there enjoying the food and conversation.

I have been coming here for the past few years and the food is always great. The kabobs are delicious and they are enough to feed you and even take home. I specially like coming Saturdays as there is a belly dancer and the atmosphere is amazing. Great selecting of wines, desserts. Price is good and even thought a lil steep is well worthy for the quality you get.

This was an impulse stop and we were truly dissapointed. The positives were the hummus and the garlic sauce. We ordered 2 sandwiches. The gyro had little meat and a thick tasteless pita and way too much cheap lettuce and tomato. The shish tawook sandwich had moist but flavorless chicken and wilted, rancid tasting vegetables. Fries with sandwich were typical store bought fries. For food from a region so rich with spices, the lack of seasoning was simply sad. The décor was also problematic. An outfit hanging on the wall of our booth had dust all over it. it was all, dark and dated. I rarely write a bad review but this time the owners have a lot of improving to do before we would consider going back.

The food sounded good, if a bit pricey. The interior was nice but a bit dated, but as another reviewer pointed out. We were seated immediately in a nearly empty restaurant at 815. By 830 no one had even taken a drink order or brought water. While we knew what we wanted to order, we overheard the table next us, that has aleady been seated, complain that they still hadn’t been served. The manager seemed preoccupied with taking photos of the one large table that had finished eating. At this point it all added up poorly, so we decided the Mexican place across the street would be a better bet for actually getting food and a little service. We were right!

Location score: 3.0. On Federal Hwy north of Commercial with average amount of parking. Interior: 4.0. Warm and welcoming design. Needs some updating Service score: 2.0. Slow and inattentive. Two waitresses for a mid afternoon meal. Food: 2.0. Falafel cooked in too hot oil. Crunchy black on the outside and uncooked inside. Eggplant dig way too smokey. Spinach pies doughy. Fuul was Very good. Price: Average. Not sure I would return

Ferdos offers great variety of middle eastern dishes, drinks and desserts. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and brough to the table within a reasonable amount of time. We had the Sampler as appetizer, I ordered the Kafta and my wife ordered the grilled chicken(Shish Tawook). Great dishes. I tried both imported beers(Lebanese Almaza abd Greek Mythos). My wife had a Sangria. Good drinks as well. Highly recommended if you want to try some real Middle Eastern food.

Wow. Ordered the chicken kabob lunch special and came out to just $ 9.53 The chicken was just right after I added a pinch of salt. The hummus was amazing and came included. The small salad in the lunch special had this amazing lemony light dressing on it not creamy at all. And the rice was so fluffy and light I suspect it was frolicking through the prairie all day. Unsweetened ice tea came included in my meal and I was very satisfied. Couldn’t be happier. 5 stars

Went here on a Saturday to check this place out. Specifically on a Saturday because that’s when the belly dancers appear. One show at 8pm and one at 9pm. The show was a bit lackluster, but it’s not like I see belly dancers every day. So what do I know? The food and portions were awesome. I devoured the chicken breasts atop a bed of rice and tasty vegetables. My lovely date, who is a bit picky concerning food(apparently not men lol), loved her lamb and other meats. Although delicious, we were unable to finish due to the generous portions. Prices were reasonable for a night out. Most days they are open for lunch and dinner. Saturdays, however, the hours are 5pm-11pm with a belly dancer 8pm and 9pm. Closed on Sundays… A unique, authentic place worth the trip.

The food was amazing! Huge portions and reasonable price. We started with the Ferdos sampler and fava bean salad. Everything in the sampler was tasty, but the falafels stood out the most. Next we had the shish kebab and the shish tawook. The beef was perfectly medium rare, the chicken was juicy, and the rice had a nice light flavor. The staff was also very friendly and gave great recommendations, especially the knafeh which was a «daring» choice but it paid off well. The only downside would be the blaring music that was unnecessarily loud. We’d definitely come back, but probably not any time near when the belly dancers are scheduled to perform.

I had lunch for first time at Ferdos Grill today. I ordered the Greek salad special for lunch $ 10.99(includes an ice tea or coffee). They serve a small side of garlic sauce… Yummy. And free pita for your meal. I will come back to try their other lunch items.

I’ll have to return to try some other menu items but I really enjoyed being feted at a lovely meal courtesy of my new neighbors. One of our group was a nibbler who just indulged in the grape leaves, pita and hummus, while our other companion had a fish dish that was quite sumptuous and I had succulent lamb chops served over a sizeable bed of rice done almost like a pilaf. What really impressed me about Ferdo’s, and makes me happy they’re right next door to where I live, is when I asked for a to-go bag and motioned the waitress to include the leftover pieces of pita(there might have been 2 or 3) she acquiesced, but it wasn’t till I got home that I saw the bounty of her generosity — clearly she had included the extra of an entire sliced up pita which added to the portion and it’s little nice touches like that, which keep a customer coming back for more!
