Laundry while vacationing, who does that? Me. Here’s the dilly-yo…after a day of sun, sand, SPF lotions, perspiration and salty air, it’s best to just throw in your towels and suits in the wash/dry rather than dumping it in a bag to marinate until you return home. It’s just an hour of your life. No biggie right? Strange folk, nomads or beach bums who knows. but there’s also cool helpful folk who run the joint. There is a coin changer in the back of the laundromat so no need to lug quarters. Bored? Walk around in the strip mall. Clean clothes no hassle. Laundry, it does the body good!

I use the laundromat on weekends as it’s close to my apt. Yesterday using one of the bigger machines. I lost $ 3.00, it didn’t turn on. Then on the floor I noticed a sign that said not working. My guess it fell off so I put it back on the machine. I left a note to say I’d be back next day. There was no number to call. On my way to work I go in and the attendant was so rude to me. Made me feel like I was lying about $ 3.00. I’m standing there in hospital scrubs heading to work not like I was homeless. I will never go back there again.

I really needed to clean my white couch cover before I had some guests over. I ran next door to this laundromat, threw in some soap and bleach, sat down in a chair and read a book. Overall, the washing and drying was fine and my cover came out beautifully. My complaint was that some of the machines really needed to be badly cleaned. I went to put my now clean couch cover into a dryer and had to inspect 4 or 5 of them because there were… uh…foreign things in them. Let’s just say that the place is good but could use a little more scrubbing down!

You never know what you’re getting into when you go to a laundromat, but I’m definitely happy with my experience here. It’s open 24 hours a day. It’s on the smaller side so I would advise going on an off day to avoid having to wait. There are some chairs to sit at, but not many. The laundromat was clean and the machines worked as they should. There is a change machine in the back if you need it. The washing machine will cost you $ 1.75 per load. The dryer is $.25 for I believe around 8 minutes. I’m not 100 percent sure on that. I know most of my laundry took 2 to 3 quarters to dry. It was a little warm in there due to the size of the space and the machines running. I would definitely come back here to wash my clothes. I would make sure to bring a book because most of the plaza stores close early so there isn’t much to do nearby.

Yes, it’s just a laundromat BUT we were out of town, packed lightly and needed clean clothes. We went at night, felt safe, it was clean, and well priced.

I was a bit anxious on my first trip ever to a laundromat, having never been to one in all of my 27 years. But my cat ended that streak when she decided to deviate from her litterbox to my bed while I was on vacation. There were definitely some seedy people around at 10PM, but overall the place did exceed my expectations. Here are some of the features: + Open 24 hours + Fully functional change machine that accepts less-than-perfect bills + Drop-off dry cleaning service M-F 7AM-7PM, Sat 7AM-6PM + $ 1.75 per wash & .25 per 15 minute drying cycle(I only needed to run my bedding through two cycles) BOTTOMLINE: One-stop laundry shop.
