If there’s one thing I need to suggest, it’s the crispy crab fritters. They are delicious and combine a great flavor with a little bit of crisp. No complaints on the food, the service was OK the day we went, but the food was amazing. We just ate appetizers.

The brunch on a Sunday was amazing! The bottomless mimosas with an added bar to add on cool things to your mimosas like different juices and fruits is such a cool thing that no one else is doing in that area. The food was amazing! I had biscuits, grits(amazing!), and potatoes (I think.). Everyone was raving about the shrimp and grits too. I don’t eat shrimp but it looked great. This was probably my favorite place for brunch. It was their first weekend providing brunch. I hope that they keep up the great service. Even the manager offered us a bottle of champagne on the house(after our party had already popped 5!!).

I rely heavily on Unilocal before I eat at a restaurant. I normally would not have gone to this restaurant based on the rating. Fortunately business associates of ours took three of us there. We all had different meals and all were excellent. We will be back for sure. The tenderloin spinach salad is one of the best salads I’ve ever had.

Sunday brunch is back — $ 15 bottomless mimosas and bloody marys but this one is nice because they have a DIY bar inside of fresh juices and assorted fruit to complement your bev. Had their shrimp and grits — wow! Katie was our server — awesome! Thanks — we’ll be back for sure!!! :-)

Grille 401 has an upscale vibe. We got spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer and For dinner we got a few specialty sushi rolls. Both were Excellent. Service was also excellent.

BRUNCH! My wife and I were walking to Louie Bossi’s for our weekly weekend brunch and heard a saxophone jamming from the patio of Grille 401. They told us today is the weekend they are serving brunch and it did not disappoint! Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 11am to 3pm they have a brunch menu with unlimited mimosas. We ordered the breakfast burrito with a house salad(instead of hash-browns) and steak and eggs on a flat bread. The breakfast burrito had a perfect blend of a fluffy scrambled egg, sautéed onions, a few sautéed peppers, and bacon that wasn’t over cooked. That you can eat by holding it in your hand. The steak and eggs were very similar except instead of in a soft, warm burrito, it was on a crispy flatbread. Both were fantastic and highly recommended!

Waitor had such an attitude, mediocre food! Definitely treated negatively after asking to speak to manager about splitting checks for a large business party…

Love this place. The food is great. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, especially Xiomara, Jenna, Bree, Rachel and YaYa. I love the food. The reason for my low review is that management seems to want to change this into a Hooters type bar. When I first started coming, the women were in vests. I came back because of their skills and chat. They transitioned to bright red sheets that were more revealing but still respectable. I came back for the first time in a little while and they are now wearing tank tops that evoke thoughts of Hooters and say #grillegirls on the front. I will no longer direct clients to this as a respectable lunch or happy hour place and am disappointed in the management that made this call since YOLO and even Fork and Balls and Boatyard(owned by same company) haven’t gone there. Please maintain. You are losing generous tipping and ordering clientele to the riff raff that will be leaving in a month.

Solid all around restaurant. Right from the front desk, nice friendly people to greet you. Great bar areas to eat drink and hang. We went with a party of 12 and they handled us like we were a party of two. No issues at all and everyone loved every dish. I had the eggplant meatball that was excellent and the snapper that was so fresh it tasted like it was just caught an hour before they cooked it to perfection. This is an easy recommendation

I’m surprised that the last review was nearly 6 months ago. This place a definitely a hidden gem. The ambiance and atmosphere are incredible for those who thrive the sexy business suits. The full bar, very swanky and high end. This is definitely the place to rub elbows with Fort Lauderdale’s finest. The wine selection is sure to satisfy every palate seated at your table. They have 2 stories of dining so those of you scared of heights beware. The cocktails were very strong the Blue Berry Mojito was strong but not to my personal liking. Definitely paid for what I got. A bit pricey but I will definitely rag about how great the food is. The sushi is favorite(and I’m very selective) if I say so myself. The Crunchy Salmon Roll– Get it, The Coconut Shrimp Roll — Get it, Spicy tuna — amazeballs! Their happy hours is one to check out if your looking for a vibrant, sexy ambiance and worth the buzz around town. The bartender definitely stuck his foot in the Passion Fruit Margarita because my world has not been the same since. LOL. will op Its 4 – 7 with a wide selection of appetizers. The Buffalo Shrimp gets a 5 star on its own. When I came once with my family my daughter loved the Kobe Sliders and«skinny French fries» as she calls it. All in all, I would come back again and again. Great dessert selection as well… IF you make it that far. Very clean and well designed. A nice private room for intimate private party. The servers anticipate your every need, very attentive. Happy Eating folks :)

We sat upstairs since we had a large party. It was intimate seating and quiter than downstairs. I had the surf and turf, it was a special for the evening. The lobster and buttery sauce was great and the steak was grilled as requested and tasted great. Service was a little slow but we had a large party with us.

Went back to Grille 401 last night. Wow. Amazing. Arrived 10 minutes early and hostess offered to seat me while my husband parked car. Gave me a choice of seating. Then Biankha, our server came over with her trainee. Biankha had bar reshake our martini because she understood importance of it being ice cold. We had grilled artichokes, they were good. I had special king salmon and husband had end cut prime rib. Marvelous! Service was great. We laughed a lot with Biankha. Thank you Andy for your follow up from last visit and will look to say hi next time. THANKYOU.

If there is a «scene» in Ft. Lauderdale, it can be found here. Our 6pm pre-theater Open Table reservation was honored and we were given our choice of upstairs or down. We opted for upstairs, the quieter of the 2, though the best people-watching was downstairs with the crowded bar and noisy restaraunt. The mix of customers was fun to watch. Mostly young career types enjoying their early dinners and a few tables with seniors chatting over their«it’s 6, time for» dinner. And, of course, there was the young couple in love, oblivious to those around them, kissing, kissing, and making out some more at the bar’s entertaining PDA show. All right, I was jealous! Service was nearly attentive and almost efficient. But one doesn’t look for much more at a place set to serve the über trendy. Food was purely acceptable, not memorable. Proof? I don’t remember what either of us ordered. I’d go back, though I wouldn’t go out of my way. It’s a functional and serviceable restaraunt just right for pre-theater dinner – if the theater is nearby.

Been here about 3 – 4 times. There are better places to go all around this venue. High priced drinks that aren’t that good. Small dance floor. Never have eaten here. Outdoor seating is nice. This could be a good spot if they upped their game.

Review of their happy hour– Great spot for happy hour. Drinks are 2 for 1, and appetizers are super cheap but SUPER delicious! I loved the mini burgers the most! If you can find a seat at this hot spot, stay and try everything on the appetizer menu and some of their creative and delicious cocktails!

I was really excited to try this place, but I was a tad let down. Overpromise and underdeliver-they don’t seem to understand that. Made a reservation here on OpenTable for 3:30 on a Friday. I know that’s a weird time. My mom and grandma were in town and wanted to take me to an early birthday lunch. There are a lot of places in town that close between lunch hours and dinner, or only are open for happy hour. I initially made 6:00 reservations but they threw me for a loop. So we get here, and the hostess tells me that I didn’t have a reservation. Um, weird-since I made it 45 minutes prior. It wasn’t an issue since the place was relatively empty, but I get points for OpenTable so that annoyed me. 5 minutes later after we were seated, I see that the restaurant CANCELED my reservation on Opentable, so clearly they had it. Now I got nothing for it. We get seated and our waitress was MIA for a WHILE. We finally get someone to serve us drinks, and I was basically irritating her to have to ask for a glass of wine. We ordered the tuna tartare app, which was okay-but it came with nothing to eat it with(aside from using a fork). Usually one of those towering apps like this one was comes with some type of chip or fried wonton to eat it with. This one has fried wonton integrated inside of it, but it was annoying to eat it. After the app was delivered-the waitress was GONE. When it was delivered, we said we needed another minute to look at the menu before choosing entrees, but we didn’t mean 30 minutes. Then later on we had another waitress come and finish up with us. I understand the concept of passing a table on to another waitress during shift change-but TELLUS someone else will be taking over so that we aren’t confused as hell. We ordered our entrees which came out at a relatively decent pace, but they were nothing to write home about. My ahi tuna salad(clearly I was on a tuna kick) was more like a side salad with a tuna slab. It wasn’t prepared as a salad at all which was weird. We told the first waitress it was my birthday(and she saw us opening gifts), and they couldn’t even give us a cake or anything at all. Not that I wanted a big shenanigan with singing waiters, but a comped piece of cheesecake would be nice. I’m thinking the fact that even the second waitress was MIA was due to the fact that it was happy hour and everyone was paying more attention to everyone at the bar. Understandably so, but come on. I would come back here, but probably for happy hour because of the location. Definitely don’t attempt to have a sit down meal here during happy hour.

The food was average. We started out with the asparagus and goat cheese roll which was a nice bend and very good. For my entrée, I ordered the short rib which was bland with a baked potato. The cucumber salad was the best part of my meal. He ordered the skirt steak marinated in teriyaki which i thought was good except i would have ordered it medium rare. There is a dance floor and the DJ was amazing(charlie cortes) and we couldn’t leave bc of his mix. I was happy to find a bar that serves Hendrick’s Gin(splash of tonic and cucumber slices). The service is good. Parking is impossible so don’t bother driving. We took an Über.

Second visit to Grille 401, definitely a better food experience this time around. Had a 7pm reservation on Friday night. The bar area was slammed because of happy hour(buy 1 get 1 drinks with ½ off appetizers). Lots of people at the front bar and spilled out to the outside area. You could barely walk up to the hostess stand… when we were being taken to our table, it was like trying to part the Red Sea. We ended up getting a table in the back not too far from the restrooms, it was great for people watching. Seeing all of the party folks and drunkards stumbling to the restroom… made it an interesting night. The service was great, same as the first time we were here. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Even Ryan the GM came to our table a few times. To eat we ordered: the crispy crab fritters, Cedar Plank Salmon, and the Ribeye special which came out pretty quickly. Then had the key lime pie for dessert. Stand out dishes of the night for us were the crispy crab fritters and the Cedar Plank Salmon with the kale salad. *the crispy crab fritters were pretty tasty the first time we had them… and they didn’t disappoint this time around. Comes with 3 fritters nested on top of a lobster-ginger sauce and garnished with a corn salsa. *the Cedar Plank Salmon with a kale salad. This was an Atlantic salmon topped with whole-grain mustard butter and cooked on a cedar plank. Perfect portion size with a ton of flavor. I would definitely recommend trying this dish! I’m glad that we came back to try out the restaurant again. Loved the Cedar Plank Salmon! This visit changed my mind and I would come back.

Came here for my first time with a friend on a Monday night. Even though my friend said it wasn’t going to be busy, i made a reservation anyway to make sure we get a booth seat. It wasn’t so difficult finding this place using the gps but what was difficult was the parking. The parking was either on the side Meters or in the back for bank of America customers. The restaurant had a nice chic flair to it, situated right next to YOLO. It has an outdoor bar and indoor bar. There is also a stairway that leads to another dining area but that is mostly used for large groups. We sat below in the booth and it really was nice fancy modern chic. For appetizers we ordered the honey bbq chicken drumsticks thing and tuna tartare poke style. For main course i ordered the grilled rainbow trout and my friend ordered the ribeye. My friend ordered red wine and i, water as always. The verdict on food? Disclaimer i don’t like raw fish dish of any kind so by default i don’t like ceviche, tartare and sushi. How do i know i don’t like them? Coz i tried them. NOT A FAN. So my friend loves this place and eats here regularly. His favorite was the tuna tartar. he begged me to try the tartar coz i might change my opinion. Fine, i tried. I still stand by my opinion ! But i guess he’s happy i didn’t like it coz its more for him. The ribeye was good, rainbow trout was good, nothing bad or amazing but just good. The star of the meal for me? Those honey bbq drumsticks. Omg they were so good i had to ask my friend«are you going to eat that? «. They were the most delicious appetizer drumsticks ever. Cooked so well! The service was great. Our waiter kept checking on us but everytime he checked he would say«no pressure guys, but would you like etc.» .i feel like if you keep saying no pressure so much, that actually adds pressure lol. But whatever, i just thought it was funny. Bill was typical for a nice restaurant. Price worth the food? Pretty fair enough i should say. Really good place i recommend it and would go back.
