Had lunch from here during the weekday. I had the veggie sandwich that came in a flour tortilla wrap, it had carrots, olives, pickles and peppers. The wrap was dry and flavorless. I would recommend adding a condiment or two to spruce it up. I also had a chocolate chip cookie that was sweet, chocolatey goodness. The food will hold you over but it’s not made for indulgence or taste.

My company orders from Joe knows all the time I use to be a regular until I found a dead fly in my salad… I called it in and the response was«yea that happens all the time. Do you want another salad?”— no! I don’t want another if it happens all the time! Poor service and nasty dirty eating environment!!! As I can see I’m not the only one with this experience…

I came across this establishment last week, it’s near my office and I never knew about it. I was expecting a gem, but I was wrong. I sat down at a table, and I must say it was the worst service I’ve ever had. The food turned out fine, no complaints there. But the overall vibe was stressful and I could tell the girls working were miserable. I was not going to leave a bad review, but I was dumbfounded when I saw the owners response to the piece of blue glove found in someone’s food. How horribly rude! Why are you attacking the customer for YOUR restaurants mistake? That just solidifies my opinion that this place has no sense of customer service. I will make sure to tell everyone not to support a business that treats their customers that way. Get a grip, joe knows lunch(specifically the owner Jessica).

This place is in walking distance from where I work, and so I should be ashamed for not visiting more often. To me, the lemon chicken soup was the highlight. I would come back for that alone. It was fantastic. I probably could have had another cup. I also had a turkey club sandwich with thousand island dressing on it and that was pretty good, too. I’m looking forward to another visit to try other menu options. My bill did come out to $ 16 plus tip, which is kind of expensive. I always like to keep my lunch-time meals under $ 10 when I eat out.

Well I usually order from this establishment multiple times a week, sadly today was the last day. I ordered a soup and found something blue and rubbery in it, so I posted a few pics to their Facebook along with a few words. A few minutes later I get a phone call from them telling me it was«a piece of a glove from an employee» who, probably got it in there while cutting onions or something” I am then told to hold and get put on the phone with a woman who rudely told me to delete the Facebook post. Which I didn’t but they deleted it themselves anyways. No apology, didn’t try to rectify the situation, nothing. So I threw away the soup and everything else I ordered and will never be ordering from them again, nor will anyone in my office. Disgusting.

This is a good place for lunch. I ate here twice. The first time I ordered the steak & cheese then the next day I ordered the teriyaki steak sub. Both are well worth the 8.59 cost. The whole pickle(¼erd) is also worth the .99. I will eat here again when I am in the area.

Review #100!!! First off, if you get a pick up order, there are free cookies. Automatic +3 stars. Take notes other lunch joints! This place is a couple of blocks away from my office, so it only takes a second to stop by here for lunch or breakfast. It’s a welcome hiatus from work. The staff is always friendly and did I mention that there are free cookies? The Heather special wrap kicks a**! The Chipotle Quinoa salad is seriously delicious. I also really like the BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad. Pretty much everything that I’ve had has been good. The only downside is that they are so popular. Well, not for them, but for me. Around lunch time they are so busy that I’ll end up waiting while they sort out my order. They have made mistakes and made me wait longer on more than one occasion. They have been very apologetic and nice about it, but it’s a chronic issue.

This restaurant is located 2 minutes from where I work, so it’s close and convenient when I’m on my lunch break. Prices are all reasonable. I eat here at least once or twice a month. The only thing I have ever gotten from here is their Firehouse Chicken Panini and sweet potato fries.(Sweet fries and served with a ranch dipping sauce). It’s always phenomenal and always comes out fast. My only gripe is with the service. Joe Knows Lunch does a lot of deliveries and I feel like because of this, they tend to neglect the people who choose to sit and eat in their establishment. Every single time I go here, the waitress never comes back to check to see how the food was. And maybe once or twice have I gotten a refill without having to ask. Half the time, you can’t even find the waitress to ask. All the waitresses are friendly, but seem to forget they still have a job to do once the food hits the table. This last time around we even had to go up to the counter to pay because no one ever came back with a check, after we sat there finished for over 10 minutes. Bottom line: great food, inexpensive, lots of food options, but severely lacking in service.

My office has had them cater here before and most people seem to think highly of this place. I knew it was close to where I work but I had no idea how close exactly. I could probably walk there on a nicer day, and it’s nice to not have to go to one of the busier intersections like Andrews/Powerline. Despite being tucked away in the side streets it was fairly easy to find and easily identifiable. Placed an order for pickup online which made it incredibly easy, and it came with a free item on the side. As my cravings for salads continue to grow I opted in for a Caesar salad. Didn’t get chicken on it, but even after adding extra dressing, bacon, and some customizations it was only $ 8, and it came with a free food item. Pretty good deal. Was ready by the time I got there and despite being super busy fielding orders for pick up and giving their drivers direction they seemed to be pretty organized. The young woman at the register was fielding a call for pickup, going back and forth between the counter and the kitchen, and was able to give me my meal all at the same time(while also being pretty cute). Now that’s talent. Was feeling peckish so nibbled on my free cookie on the way back to work. Not terribly large but really good. A thick, soft, chewy chocolate chip cookie with fairly big chocolate chunks. Got to my desk and opened up the salad to be pleasantly surprised they got all of my customizations and by the size of the salad for the price. Dressing was really thick and flavorful and the romaine was really leafy and fresh. Their menu is a bit daunting with how many selections it has but definitely looking forward to coming back here again and trying my luck at something else.

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Joe Knows Lunch. Over the 7 years I’ve worked in the area I’ve eaten it countless times(never in the restaurant it self) and my company uses them quite a lot to cater for work meetings and the like. The Good: *They have a website through which you can order, which isn’t the easiest, but at least it exists and you can avoid calling in. *Free Item — every order includes something free. Chips, cookies etc you pick. *Food — most of the food is pretty tasty. I most recently had the Heather’s Secret Sauce Wrap and it was delicious! The Bad: *Delivery Minimum — I get why this exists but it’s annoying. A typical sandwich/wrap is $ 7.99 and when I add on one of the cheapest sides(a pickle) for 99cents I get to $ 8.98 and guess what the delivery minimum is — yep $ 8.99. So I’m forced to get a more expensive side when truthfully I don’t even want any side at all. A bit infuriating lol. *Free Item — over the years the free item list has gotten shorter and shorter! *Inconsistent — some times I order something and fall in love. When I order it again I’m less than enamored. The Very Bad: *Despite being able to select your delivery time on the website I have had my food come over an hour late TWICE. It got so bad that I swore I wouldn’t even order from them again, but alas I gave in.

What a find. First, way of the beaten path. Second, great menu. Next, good service. Great drinks, sandwiches and cookies. I tried the firehouse. Very good. Someone had the Arys Bronx. Also very good. Watch out for the peppers. Wasn’t ready for the bite but also good. The price was right. Recommend.

Joe Knows Lunch is located very close to where I work, but this is the first time I ventured in. I arrived around 11:45 and found quite a few open table and took a seat. As it got closer to noon and after the place really started to fill up, so if you want to eat in get there early for sure. The menus are located right on the tables and the waitress was quick to get drink orders. Although the menu is mostly salads and sandwiches it is still huge and there are a ton of choices so it took me a little while to decide, but I ended up going with the rancher wrap, a chicken wrap with corn, black beans, cheese, and ranch dressing. You had the option of choosing from a few different wrap types(wheat, spinach, etc.) but I just got a plain flour tortilla. I also ordered a dill pickle on the side. The food came out pretty quickly and I enjoyed the wrap immensely. As I went up to the counter to pay there was a container of homemade cookies that came with the meal to take with you. This particular day was a peanut butter and m&m cookie but they make different ones throughout the week. I was excited that my meal came with dessert. For the price of about $ 10 I got a very filling wrap with a pickle and dessert, not a bad deal at all. I know many people get take out from Joe Knows Lunch and they often cater corporate lunches and deliver, but I was very impressed with the service I received in the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu.

The food is ok. The sweet tea is amazing! I’m if I would go back and get a small turkey wrap for $ 6 but I would like to try their breakfast. My wrap was so small and kinda wrong. I know lunch is busy obviously over there but still the server can pay a little more attention when someone is ordering. I ordered the wrap with a little bit of mayo. Most places they would put a little. The lady didn’t even modify it so it came drenched in mayo. It was so disgusting I couldn’t eat it. I took the wrap apart and ate the 5 slices of turkey. They server never came back she only placed the ticket on the side of the table and left. Didn’t ask if everything was ok or why my wrap was literally not eaten. I ate my chips and drank my sweet tea and left after paying for it. Idk if I’ll come back for lunch but I will try out their breakfast hopefully it will be a better experience

Friendly staff in a busy place. I work nearby, had soup on a rainy day, it was very tasty in that homemade way. Furnishings match the area and building, basic and built to work. Good place for a work lunch.

Joe Knows Lunch is one of those least expected, off the trail, little gems of a place I would have never come across without a little Unilocal from my friends. Located in warehouse or semi-industrial section, you’d never think that it was home to a restaurant, much less that the food would be any good. It’s totally unassuming from the outside as well as from the inside. Clean and orderly, but certainly not a place one would go to for décor or dining ambience. However, the super friendly service and deliciously unique food preparations more than make up for any of those short comings. Basically a breakfast and lunch establishment, Joe has not only a wide a varied menu, but an offering of healthy tasty daily and weekly specials. I went for one of his soups of the day, being a white bean and kale with chicken and sausage. It came served hot inside of a huge cup which contained more than an average bowl and was really downright flavorful and delicious. I also went for his special of the week«Chef’s Creation» being a turkey, provolone, lettuce, red onion, fresh sliced cucumber, tomato, red pepper almond sauce done in a red tomato wrap. When served it was not only pleasing to the eye, but delicious in taste. All in all, I can say that Joe really does know lunch and has an establishment I have no problem recommending to others.

My favorite place to order for lunch at work! It’s a little known place but boy is it awesome The menu is pretty decent(Sandwiches, salads, ricebowls, burgers, paninis! Yum!) Almost everything I have ordered has been awesome. The kicker here is that while they offer normal sides like fries or chips, they have HEALTHY sides like broccoli, or guacamole! Love it. When you order any entrée online, you get something free(try the apple or red velvet cake). For a healthy, delicious, filling lunch, Joes Knows is the best!

Another in the category of «if you didn’t know it was here, you’d never find it», Joe’s is buried in between warehouse and small office buildings. There is barely a sign out front. But the locals sure know about the place and they keep coming back. Not because there isn’t much else around, but because Joe really does know lunch. Wide variety of hot and cold sandwiches with the usual assortment of lunch meats and toppings. But where Joe kicks it up a notch is that the meats are exceptionally high quality and the sandwiches are well stuffed. This ain’t Subway, my friends. Joe also caters and delivers.
