Just found this little hole in the wall pub over the weekend. Great craft beer selection, chill crowd and the bartenders are cool. I’ll definitely hit this place up a few times a month, from now on.

This is a staple need to see and experience place. One of our favorite watering holes and proud wearer of all accessories and use of beer coozies with this amazing logo.

I loved this craft beer place which was having a special Star Trek night the night I was there. Lucky for me I went here with a veteran who pointed me in the direction of the Bomb which was so tasty and also high in alcohol content. I wouldn’t be opposed to hitting this place again, especially if they have Star Trek night again.

Sweet little dive bar on Progresso Rd. The bartenders are friendly, the décor is really cool, and if you have time to check out their website, be sure to watch their hilarious short film. YESBEER, NOJERKS!

What a neat place! I like places that are unique, different, and have great selections of beer and this place covered all 3! Someone from Funky Buddah recommended for us to come here. Loved all the art work and the atmosphere. Very laid back and the staff were super friendly and knowledgable of the beers on draft. We enjoyed a couple rounds of beers while my husband and our friend plays supermario world on an old school black and white tv. My husband got the Lazer Wolf 80s t-shirt which he loves! The restroom was located outside of the bar which was kind of awkward but it worked. Really neat place I’d be happy to come back here!

Pretty cool place if you just want to chill and drink good beer. Great place to try new, especially local, brews. Pros — very dog friendly, food trucks Cons — limited hours, pricey

Dive bar. Brew pub. Beer. Nintendo. By the train tracks. It’s called laser wolf. They have a black dildo bottle opener. They were playing Shark Avalanche on the tv. I had a snifter of the habanero sculpin. It was rainy. Ernest Hemingway was there. I bet their toilet is made of beef jerky.

Pros: — Teeny tiny hidden spot with some fantastic selections. — Hidden courtyard — Knowledgeable staff — Great music Cons: — ONESINGLEBATHROOM for a bar of beer drinkers — Certain staff members can be a bit patronizing to newbies

Nice tiny and old venue with tons of charm. They even have a courtyard out in the back. I love the wooden double doors behind the bar. At first it’s not certain if they are cabinet doors or if they lead to a room behind the bar. I’ll keep it a mystery. You’ll have to find out for yourself. I didn’t notice any bike parking. I had to lock mine to a support cable that was part of an outdoor city electrical line. So if there isn’t any bike parking, please get some, L.W.

I’ve been coming to Laser Wolf since they opened back in 2010. It’s a great little brewpub and biergarten nestled just outside of the downtown area of Fort Lauderdale. Their craft beer selection is solid, a lot of great varieties on both bottle and tap. Located in this old corner building, the bar has this cool vibe with a plethora of different knickknacks. paintings, and an unicycle hung on the walls. They normally have food trucks available during the weekends, occasionally on certain weekdays, depending on what’s going on. Five years on, the owners have established a place that’s very special. I live just south of West Palm Beach now, and I will still come by the joint if I’m in the area.

This place is a jewel. It is on a little corner near the railroad, by itself, but once you step inside you will realize you don’t need anything else. The interior is decorated in unique artwork, which is kind of hipster, but in the best way. The selection is stellar and the guys who run the place are cool as hell. I love that their motto is «No jerks, just beer». It’s true. If you don’t want to sit inside for whatever reason, there is lots of space in the courtyard. Little tables and such, among the pretty shrubs and lights. On the weekends, it can get a little difficult to find space, but we have brought blankets or chairs to sit in the grass. There is nearly always a good food truck outside, which I love. Sometimes they even host events that include music or movies outside. If you have never been here to take a peek, there’s no time like the present!

If I lived in Ft Lauderdale, I would live at Laser Wolf. No really. I would bring myself an air mattress, flop it down in a corner, sleep there, wake up, and enjoy Laser Wolf’s funky, friendly, super awesome atmosphere every day of my life!!! Great beer list — CHECK Great clientele — CHECK Super amazing alt music playlist — CHECK Super cheesy B movies playing on TV, thus providing a great convo piece — CHECKCHECK Sweet outdoor space but equally edgy and cool indoor space — CHECKCHECKCHECKITYCHECKCHECK If you don’t live in Ft Lauderdale(like I do), please for the love of your preferred deity, stay away from the cruise ship tourist trap places closer to the water and COMEHEREINSTEAD. You will not be disappointed. This is a great bar!

Last night I sampled beer from a place that is really much more than a bar. The wide array of specialty beers is absolutely spectacular! The energy is artsy, the culture is hipster and quite unique from any other bar you’ve ever been to – guaranteed! The bartenders are friendly, the setting is relaxed, the music is mellow, and there are games to play alone or with others. This bar is pet friendly and the regulars get their glasses engraved! How cool is that?! Oh and if it’s fresh air you want, step out – there is outdoor seating and a romantic courtyard garden. Please see my photos – I know it doesn’t do them justice, but you will not be disappointed in trying out this spot just a few miles north of downtown Fort Lauderdale.

I won’t lie. We went to this place based on the name and logo alone. I didn’t read the reviews until I was there and I agree with them. This place was a breath of fresh, albeit still a little too humid for my Colorado sensibilities, air after any number of sports bars in the Fort Lauderdale area. Their selection is stupendous and the bartenders were, as promised, very knowledgeable. I had several great local beers and a few random ones from breweries in the southeast. My dude was impressed by, not only their beer knowledge, but their vast knowledge of crappy/campy horror movies. I was completely lost during their conversation of Roboshark and Zombeavers, but then it circled back around to beer and I was back to feeling comfortable. This place is small. Surprisingly small, but it’s well worth the visit to be able to try some really phenomenal beers.

Oh how cool is this place? I love the wall paintings! Great selection of craft beer mostly bottled but like 10 on tap. It is a very tiny place but they have outdoor seating as well. Check out the restroom. They accept AMEX.

Such a weird but very funky little place. The staff was fun and friendly! The décor surely kept the conversations interesting. I especially LOVED that it was a dog friendly place! Attended the Cigar City Jai Alai takeover event and had a great time with friends. Would definitely return!

6÷13÷2015− Came with friends to the 2-Star Beach Party Event. Great turnout. Not too crowded but crowded enough. The bartenders are awesome and their specialty craft beer was mmmm good. We basically had every one they had on their board that day. Thank God it was 12 oz.

If you’re a «pretentious douche bag» go away… Or at least that was the first impression that I got. «NOJERKS, YESBEERS» That’s their motto and if you’re anything like me(NOT a pretentious douche bag that just wants to go with friends to share some good laughs and conversation while drinking better than average beers) then this place fits the bill… For awhile I had been coming here; mostly after riding with various organized bicycle rides through Fort Lauderdale(Monday night Slowhibition ride, Wednesday night Bicihangeo ride, Friday night Critical Mass rides)… ANDHERE’S WHY: ** Laid Back… As someone that frequents Key West very often, the laid back feeling here makes this place feel like many of my preferred drinking spots in Key West… right up my alley. ** Cool Staff… Everyone seems to be on top of their job(getting drinks into my hands fairly quick when they are busy mostly) but at the same time seem to be friendly guys while we’ve been their during quieter days shooting the shit about beers and life. ** Excellent Beer List… there seems to be tons of places dedicated to serving good beer but how many of them really get«better» or «rarer» beers all that often. Laser Wolf certainly does a better job than most. ** Dogs… not a typical criteria for whether I like or dislike a place but props to Laser Wolf for loving dogs enough to have an open-door policy allowing dogs all of sizes into the bar. Haven’t had my dog into the bar yet(since he’s kind of an asshole) but pretty cool that I could if I wanted… ** Movies… I don’t know if it’s a regular thing but I’ve caught a couple of B-flicks being shown here… and not just average B-flicks like Sharknado and Killer Klowns from Outer Space… they took it to a whole new level when I saw Zombi Asu(a cheesy Japanese flick that translates to «Zombie Ass: The Toilet of the Dead»)… Google it… * * * For the most part I’ve always enjoyed my visits and always felt welcomed but on a couple visits I questioned how welcomed I really was… On one occasion I was talking to one of the guys behind the bar. Somehow or another bicycling came up and he was bitching about cyclists and specifically how he dislikes how the guys in those group rides can be assholes… kinda sucks as I am one of those guys on the group rides… BUT I’M NOJERK(or asshole). I told him I’m an avid rider and come often after rides and have brought many of my cycling buddies too… he changes his tune a bit and even said he rides often too… I know what he means since some of the riders can be jackasses on the road but does that really mean all riders are unwelcome here… I hate to admit it but I certainly felt unwelcome at that moment(and sure doesn’t fall Into the NOJERKS motto). It wasn’t so much the not caring for cyclist… it was more along the lines of here is this place with the COOLEST motto you could possibly have and IFYOUFOLLOWWHATYOUPREACH then the place could be the COOLESTBAR. I’ve introduced many friends to Laser Wolf; well beyond the bicycling crowd… some friends that just enjoy a cool bar and others that were craft beer geeks… for the most part all loved it but a couple of them complained they didn’t feel welcome… they questioned the COOLMOTTO as just a bunch of words with little substance… As if there is a private club and only the members of this exclusive club are entitled to be treated to a higher standard… everyone else, well, you’re all just jerks. As a former business owner, I recognize that the ultimate goal of any business is to make money; NOT to be the coolest kid in class… treating one guest with total respect and making other work to be accepted is not going to win over any potential customers and any business owner knows… potential customers translate to potential profit. Isn’t that what you’re really in business for in the first place ? «NOJERKS, YESBEERS» I get it, they want guys that fit into a certain profile and that’s fine but the motto implies everyone is welcome as long as you aren’t a jerk but I think their definition of a jerk may be different than mine. As not to end on a negative note… here’s a link to that Zombi Asu movies that I credit Laser Wolf with introducing me to…

A small bar with a big selection of craft beers… This has become a go to for us on the weekends, only 5mns from where we live… why not?! There is a brewery not too far from us(which will remain nameless… but i prefer a more low-key spot). The staff here is pretty cool and very knowledgeable of the different beers. The crowd is eclectic and the vibe is pretty chill. Many regulars actually have their own personal glasses here. thought that was kind of neat. There is usually a food truck to satisfy your late night munchies. And a few times there has been tiny pop up shops that set up shop next door to the bar. For me this is a little hidden gem… love the beer selection and the prices are pretty reasonable. Would recommend checking it out.

On my last review of Laser Wolf, I wasn’t very pleased with the way they treated their patrons but I didn’t down rate them from 4 Stars, figuring it was just a bad night and the bartender was having and out of sorts type of day. But, it seems the staff here is having more than their share of out of sort days. The place is nice, really artistically cool, but the bartenders are not. They really seem to be a bunch a wannabe cool types, they try so hard to be, rather arrogant with nothing to be arrogant about, who seem so full of themselves that to me they come off as being a bunch of less than boring rudies. More than anything, the place seems to have a groupie type of following that unless you’re one of them or of the type that would visually fit, you can expect to be cold shouldered and treated as one who is not exactly welcomed. As for the beer, yes. They have a lot of good selections, but so do a lot of other places and, at least for me, those other places are better choices.
