Not gonna knock this place ;) It’s a dive bar to go drink. Plain and simple. It is frequented by all the smokey bones, Fridays, bonefish grill, red lobster, outback and Olive Garden servers after they are done working. Pretty much packed every night after 11. Everyone in there(well 99.1%) smokes cigarettes and I mean chain smokes. If you just need to have a few drinks it’s great to go to. But if you don’t smoke don’t go here. You will not be able to breath because the place is small and you are surrounded by 30 chain smokers. Just warning you if from out of town and you don’t smoke I would go elsewhere. Have a look at the pic I included. I took that off the ceiling months ago. Look at the difference in them. If this doesn’t make you quit smoking… Still a decent dive bar Andrew is a cool dude.

I really don’t want to take issue with my fellow Unilocalers, but to me Legend’s Pub is just a smoky little neighborhood pub with nothing that I could find being the least bit divey about it; certainly nothing on the order of the Bimini Bay Bar or some of the other low life joints I frequent. Matter of fact, I found it to be a rather neat, clean orderly run operation serving a rather good drink at a reasonable price. One drawback is that they only have McGuinness on tap; all other beers are served by the bottle. There are a few of those silly machines to play with in the back. One wall has pictures of celebrities, such as Willie Nelson, none of whom have ever set a foot in the place or, I am sure, would even know of this little strip mall pub. The rest rooms are spotless; everything about it is clean and well decorated. Matter of fact I found it far too clean, neighborhood proper and so much lacking in dive bar essence that it did nothing for the sleaze in me; hence boring. That is unless you want to hear all the crappy neighborhood talk such as the fact that Frank put in a new water heater over Martha’s house, that Sheila is trying to find a set of new tires for her car or that Rhonda is pregnant again. So, for a gossipy little neighborhood pub, not my style, but it’s ok. For being a dive bar, it doesn’t even come close; not at all ratty enough to even begin to qualify.

Ah. the bar i grew up with. Too many memories at this place. Used to be called galaghers a lllooonnngg time ago. Bartenders Ty, Mark, and Drew are all awesome at making drinks, seriously I’ve never had a bad mixed drink here, I can’t say that for a lot of places. Awesome prices but that tends to keep the bar packed, sometimes its standing room only. No food but you can get stuff delivered there. Its pretty smokey too and a lot of in the biz peeps frequent it

It’s a smoky gin joint, but its open late and the bartender Andrew knows how to make a drink.

This place is the dive bar of all dive bars in Fort Lauderdale. It was across the street from Port Royale where I used to live so I would frequent this bar. I love this place. Not only does it hold some great memories of FTL, but it holds the best one ever. I was«seeing» this guy that swore up and down he only has eyes for me. One day I walk into the bar with a friend and who do I find here with another girl on a date. Oh could it be, yeah the guy I was«seeing». This pretty much sums up most of my time in FTL. Fun times, but vapid and vacuous people. As for the bar — I love this place. I loved playing darts with my friends and in general just hanging out.
