Office Depot

Just left Office Depot. I was immediately asked if I needed help. I asked the location of what I needed and was walked to it by one associate. I was approached several times by different employees making sure I was being taken care of. I’m used to being ignored and even avoided by most workers when it looks like you need help. Robert was awesome! Not only did he open a register and take the NEXT person in line, he was multitasking, smiling, and communicating with everyone. Performing security overrides and getting the line down with a smile on his face. I was pleasantly pleased with my visit.

Worse experience in the 15 years i have been an office depot customer. Today was my first time at this location.
First, I was greeted at the door which was good. But then, when i went to the register, the customer in front of me was taking a while so they opened another register and the cashier was so busy flirting with a girl they completely skipped me.
When i finally got to pay I was not greeted. I was completely ignored as the cashier was on the phone apparently speaking to someone that was asking for the impossible so i suppose the manager. I was not thanked at the end of the transaction and ignored all the way through.
Will definitely look for a different store.

Ducked in to score a couple of printer cartridges (I have proposals to deliver!) and a laser pointer so I can drive Buddy-​Cat (my shadow) crazy.
Whilst carrying my old printer cartridge into the store to make sure I got the right thing, it leaked on me, and I subsequently gave myself an ink mustache. That was cool, because I really can’t grow one myself.
One customer service fellow took me to the laser pointers, another one fetched my ink cartridges for me, while a 3^rd went and got me a moist towelette to clean up my ink-​failed face folly. WOW! Impressive. Really.
Nice way to up your customer service game. This was, by far, the best experience I’ve EVER had with an office supply store visit out of hundreds of such sojourns. STRONG!
