I ate here one time before and it was really good so I came back. I got a southwest salad this time and the avocado was hard. I’m not sure if it was the dressing I got but my salad smelled like feet.

Well, this one is in a strip where you have a Chipotle, Blaze, Jersey Mike’s, Giraffes, Voodoo BBQ and an urgent care facility(not necessarily relevant). There is lots of competition however at Lunch on a weekday this whole strip is a zoo of people. I went for the Sandwich/Soup combo for 8 bucks, considering there was a line coming out of Chipotle and Jersey Mikes, this place had 5 people and was empty. Therefore staff were really friendly and attentive, food came up quick and was good. I honestly thought they just did salards so it was nice to know other things are on the menu.

I love salad, but I’ve found that I’m not usually a fan of these salad chains, but Saladworks seems to be my exception. I had my eye on it for months waiting for it to open in this lunch Mecca on Andrews, and finally tried it out. After my first visit I was back again within the week, so it’s safe to say I found a salad place I actually like. As you walk in at first things are a little confusing. You essentially see a salad bar, but it is not DIY, so there are choices to be made. You can grab a menu near the door and study it, but they also have sample salads made up behind the glass of the salad bar, so you can chose visually as well. They also offers soups and sandwiches here and any salad can be made into a wrap. Since I only eat fish(no chicken, turkey, beef) my choices are narrowed down pretty quickly on the premade salad menu, not that I mind as I know I could leave the meat off any one, but my first two visits here I ordered the Nuevo Niçoise. This salad has a base of greens with chunk tuna, egg whites, tomatoes, Greek olives, green beans, and pasta. For the pasta you have the option of white or wheat. You can then chose your dressing and the staff will mention what is recommended for the salad you chose. My first time here I got the full sized Nuevo Niçoise and loved it. I found it fresh and filling, but I noticed some people around me had combos with a half a salad and a soup, so the next time I got that with my new favorite salad and the tomato bisque. The half salad in the combo is still a great portion size and the tomato soup had a nice rich flavor. Every salad and combo is served with a roll and again you have the choice of white or wheat, and they’re warm. This plaza can get pretty busy around lunch time so either come a little before noon to beat the rush, or order online. Their website is very user friendly for ordering and calorie counting. I find the prices to be reasonable spending less than $ 10 for a lunch full of fresh veggies that I don’t feel guilty about, and they also have a rewards card so you can earn free things the more you go. Now that I have been a few times I think next time I will be more brave and make my own signature salad rather than picking from the menu.

I am visiting town and saw this on Unilocal. The reviews seemed pretty good so I thought I’d give it a try. I ordered the chicken Mandarin salad and a turkey club panini. Wow they both were fantastic! The girl who helped me was very friendly and recommended both items to me. It was clean and not busy at all which made it nice. If you’re looking for a good salad or sandwich give it a try.

I’ve finally eaten at all of the places in this plaza(no easy feat lol!). I’ve had my eye on Saladworks since they opened(which was actually last in the plaza) but have held off eating here for a bit mostly because I didn’t need another review draft sitting there( Unilocaler problems lol), but it was finally time! I headed here with Jessica G. who had eaten here a few times before. I came specifically for a salad, but it was nice to see they offered sandwiches, soups, wraps, so not just salads. I stood around for a bit reading over the salad options(about 10 to choose from or you can create your own) and was feeling rather overwhelmed when I finally noticed the salad area had each signature salad made up and on display! Crisis solved, as seeing each option made my decision much easier! I ended up with a salad/soup combo, it helped once I saw how large the salads are, even the half size with the combo is a great portion, and even includes a roll(white or whole wheat). So in the end my half Greek salad and tomato bisque combo for $ 9 was just perfect! PS sign up for their rewards program!

This is the go-to spot for anyone at the company I am employed at. I do accounting so I am inputting so many receipts for this place that I should probably just work here with all the different salad combos I see everyday. Today for lunch I thought, you know what? I’m going to see what all the fuse is about and have a SALAD instead of a juicy burger for lunch(somewhat sad moment). I checked out their menu on the website and noticed you can actually place your order on their website and just come pick it up. Convenient? Absolutely. No lines for me during my lunch break? Great, sign me up. More time to eat! I put in two orders and the process to order online was very easy. Wish every business had this method! Parking is 8⁄10 times packed at this strip mall but I was able to score a spot in front(guess it’s 2pm, late lunch). As I walked in, I was a little taken back by all the options. I was so happy I ordered online where it wasn’t as overwhelming to pick from. Large open space, very clean, & lots of seating! Must be really packed around noon. I noticed there was no lines so I just walked straight to the register. I had grabbed two drinks but when she told me it’s about $ 2.50 for each, I second thought about this as I can grab a drink at a vending machine back in my office so I decided against it. Maybe if I was dining in, I wouldn’t have minded paying such a high price for a coke(yes, a soda with a salad, can we not judge?) Now here is what bugged me, what made me deduct a star. Both orders were $ 8.79. I gave her 9 cash for both and both times, I got no change-simply the receipt. Why was she keeping my change without asking first? I waited to see if she did it with my 2nd order and yup, she did. Did she just keep 42 cents to herself? I know it’s just 42 cents but don’t assume I want to tip you. I think it would have been more appropriate if she asked or just gave me my change so I can decide what to do with it… As for the salad, wow. Now I see what all the hype is about. I have never found a SALAD(im going to yell it b/c I can’t believe I actually enjoyed a salad with no entrée after) to be as delicious and filling on its own. I got the dressing on top and they didn’t put much of it so if you like to control how much dressing is in your salad, I suggest getting it on the side as I will next time. They give you the right amount, not too little or too much. I will most likely be adding this to my lunch spots during my work week.

If you are looking for a second option to Sweet Tomatoes across the street, this is the right place. The selection of salads, sandwiches and soups is of good variety, all sorts of drinks and meal combinations. I have been here once and will return to try more stuff.

WOW where do I start? The workers are extremely nice and helpful. The salads? Hands down the best ever. Big portions that won’t break the bank. You won’t finish one salad in a sitting. Fresh bread rolls and possibly the best cookies. Will return!

Ordered online, and picked up at store. Salad was awful, mushy, and tasted horrible. I ordered avocados in the salad, and they were gone bad and were mushy. They mixed in with the entire salad like part of the dressing, so there was no getting rid of them. For $ 10+ for a salad, you expect prime ingredients and at least a tolerable salad. This was far from it, I would not return again.

Great spot to grab a salad and soup for lunch. People are friendly, salad options are good — wish you would serve tofu like listed on your website — but overall one of the better quick salad restaurants I’ve been to. With that said I’m vegetarian so finding chicken in my salad twice grosses me out — they need to find a way to stop the meat produce from falling into the salad toppings, And the guy who is usually cashing out at lunch needs to be aware of his ha da, yes you’re wearing gloves but those gloves are also collecting cash and swiping credit cards… Don’t touch my bread with them too.

Really digging this place. I’ve been here twice, and I will most certainly return. Here’s what I like. The salads are really good, and so are the dressings. I’ve been purchasing the buffalo chicken salad, which is really good. They also give you a wheat or white roll, which is very tasty, and complements the salad. I love the hot soups(chicken-noodle in particular). The soup is nice and hot, and has terrific flavor. The thing they need to work on is the work flow behind the counter. There seems to be chaos during that noon-to-1 p.m. time frame. I’m sure that’ll improve as this place recently opened up, and the learning curve is underway. With Salad Creations and Sweet Tomatoes nearby, the competition to control the healthy-eating patron dollars on Cypress Creek and Andrews has commenced. I choose this place. The one problem, however, is my bill, which typically rounds out to $ 15(soup, salad, bottle of water) with tip. I don’t want to spend that type of money daily. It’s more like a twice-a-month type of outing. It’s not cheap to eat healthy.

I was looking forward to the opening of SaladWorks. I was getting tired of a similar restaurant, Sweet Tomatoes, across the street. The menu looks very promising at SaladWorks. I ordered the pick-two option: a half salad, and a chicken mozzarella panini sandwich. The food here is HORRIBLE. I had my partner taste the chicken panini sandwich, and we both agreed that it tastes EXACTLY like the school pizza they used to serve 30 years ago. Bad, canned tomato sauce on a horrible bread. The salad was equally bad: almost all iceberg lettuce(that’s the cheapest) with only the least expensive veggies and one of those dressings that’s more corn syrup than vinaigrette.

Let me start off by saying I am NOT a salad person. With that said, this place has me hooked. The salads are delicious and affordable, and the sandwiches are great too! You have to try their signature dressing(not sure what it’s called… but it’s a lime green color and it’s AMAZING) that works with any salad. Staff is friendly, store is clean, food is delicious. These guys have a lot to compete with in their little strip, but if you’re looking for something healthy and delectable, it’s no competition: Saladworks is the way to go.

This place gets stars for being clean, but that’s probably because it’s really new. The salads just aren’t that interesting. I wish they would be a make your own salad place and just weigh it afterwards. i’ve been here twice and both times left feeling unimpressed. I had the cobb salad the first time and a buffalo chicken salad the next. the cobb salad was horrible because it was cold pieces of breaded fried chicken. the buffalo chicken wasn’t much better — the chicken was flavorless. :(

Since this location has opened I’ve been in about 4 times — it’s surprisingly addictive, which is weird considering there’s a Salad Creations and Sweet Tomatoes within less than a mile from each other. However, I think why I keep coming back is the location and they are really fast. You can order one of their salads or create your own. The only downside is after 5 ingredients they charge $ 1 more. So you may be better off at Sweet Tomatoes if you prefer unlimited items without the extra cost. Since working in the area for over 5 years this is definitely a new go-to spot for my lunch rotation.
