The pizza is good, but the rude people are the reason I won’t go back. You can only give a place so many chances before you stop going.

It’s like going to chipotle but instead of getting burrito your getting a pizza. There is a assembly line, where you choose the type of crust, sauce and topping you want. Then they cook it in a open fire. Service was good. And they take the time to explain how it work if it’s your first time there.

Being from NYC, I know good pizza and Pizza Blaze makes the good stuff… wife and I visit every chance we get and are never disappointed– good pizza and you can make it to suit taste! The staff is also very friendly and walks around asking the patrons if everything is OK– the place is just a great pizza place. A++ from the Mrs. and I.

I am a fan! a freshly-made cheese pizza for $ 5 thats significantly bigger than Pizaa Hut’s personal pan and also much faster? YEs. I’m in. Blaze is basically like Chipotle for pizza; i will eat here any time its close and convenient. Not a go-out-of-your-way place, but if it’s close I’m quite all right eating Blaze Pizza.

Pizza is really great. This is more about the service. I work in customer service industry and know how hard it is to deal with people expectations, especially under pressure situations. I placed an order online. I got a message letting me know that my pizza will be ready at 7:40. At the moment it is 7:04. I called and spoke to a Charlie. I asked Charlie if my ticket has come though and if my credit card has been charged. He said my card wasn’t charged until I get there. I was more concerned if the order came through or not. My partner showed up and my order never came through. It was upsetting called Charlie and asked him what happened, he said the order never came through. Ok? Well maybe there was a technical error, «I’m sorry, however, can we help you place the order and make sure to get them ready for you right away? we apologize for the inconvenience» that is all that has to be said. No freebies, no bad negative words of exchange just some sort of acknowledgment, instead you have someone acting like they don’t give a f$&@ about you and some of the most depressing staff in the back. It’s not easy to work in the food or customer service industry and it is not for everyone, if you take a job in this field make sure is something you want and it is not always about pleasing the customer but about making things right and fair. Bad service, bad acknowledgment can ruin great food.

Great food, quick, competitively priced. Clean establishment. When I initially walked into the restaurant my first impression was that it reminded me of Chipotle. Very similar industrial styling, open layout, exposed a/c ducting, assembly line prep station, etc… The menu offers several pre-selected combinations(which all looked good) but I opted for the build-your-own, which was $ 8.95 if I remember correctly AND comes with unlimited toppings! I got spicy red sauce, mozzarella & parmesan cheese, pepporoni, meatball, roasted red pepper and artichoke. The line moves quickly because they have a dedicated person for each component of the pizza. Once you finish up on the prep line the cashier rings you up while your pizza is thrown in the oven. Three minutes later the pizza is done! One thing to note is that the pizza has a very thin crust. I don’t mind this because I like all kinds of pizza — but the snobby New York types may not be pleased… just a fair warning. I found all of the ingredients to be very fresh and the meatballs were well seasoned. To be honest I was a little skeptical about the 3-minute cooking time but I was pleasantly surprised at the result. Still crispy & cooked well all the way through. My co-workers all got different variations of the menu pizzas and everybody enjoyed theirs thoroughly. One pie is enough to satisfy a hungry adult. We picked up a few s’mores cookies for dessert and were not disappointed in those, either. I will be returning in the near future to try another custom creation… maybe even today!

Blaze is, original Hard to say about a pizza place. What else could you do to the pizza place to make it stand out from the herd of pizza places that are in every corner of every city. I stopped in the other day to the N. Fort Lauderdale location having been to another location before for a CMYE, but unsure if it was the same experience at all locations. It was starting out alright as I came in to only a couple people in line. I knew the basic procedure of picking my items bu I’m not the type to gregariously yell out ingredients. The thing is, at Blaze, you can have whatever you want for basically a flat price. and not a high price, it was like 7 some dollars. Anyhow we got past the sauce(spicy), and cheese. The ingredients are 2nd thing that makes this place stand out. Besides the basic meats and veggies there are some great things you cant help but want on your pie. Things like balls of mozzarella, quartered baby tomatoes, toasted hearts of garlic, and like 2 other kinds of garlic too! Ok so once its in you would think you have to hang around quite a bit. But no this is the 3rd surprising thing. Its out as fast as it takes a sub to go through the toasting oven. There’s some technology to it but all I know is it’s crazy fast. And delicious. I had every kind of garlic you could want but on this day, I traded fresh breathe for awesome pizza, and it was worth it!

This place is awesome… good quality food, great service, great pricing, nice atmosphere. Upon entering I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff person behind the counter. He took my name and order request and wrote it on a sheet of paper that follows your pizza through the process. I chose the«make your own» Pizza option for $ 8. You get as many meat, veggies, cheese, sauces as you want! The crust is super thin so the pizza cooks in less than 3 minutes. It is an assembly line and you tell the person what you want on your pizza. The staff is very proud and happy to work there… you don’t see that at many establishments. You can dine in or get it to go. They have self service drink machines. There is plenty of parking in the attached lot. This is a place I will definitely return to.

Why have they decided to not open a franchise in Miami? WHY?!? Let me tell you, if they were to open one it would bank, this place is great! I refer to it as the chipotle of pizza. You walk in and select the crust you want, regular or GLUTENFREE. Then you pick your sauce, cheese and toppings, which can be unlimited for less than $ 8! The pizza is then put into the coal fired oven and after about 2 – 3 minutes you have your own custom made, fresh baked pizza pie in your hands. Not only is this place inexpensive but the taste and quality of what you get is amazing. I really hope they change their mind and open one or many locations in the South Florida market!

Very cool concept for a pizza restaurant! It’s a line service style just like subway where you follow your order down the chain. You start with picking a preselected pizza or building your own. They’re both 11″ so it’s the same size for either option but the BYO you can load up however much you want. Blaze Pizza uses the best pure olive oil for their dough making it good and delicious. I like to experiment with my own toppings so I opted for the BYO. I started with the classic red sauce and added shredded mozzarella and parmesean. Next comes the meats: pepperoni, Italian sausage, bacon bits. Then the vegetables: red onions, artichokes, mushrooms, minced garlic. Then sprinkle a dash of salt on top and into the oven it goes. They’re known for their flash fire style cooking which let’s your pizza become toasted and finished in just three minutes. It’s quite a hard job on the guy firing up the pizzas if you watch him use a long heavy rod to toss and turn the pizza inside a very hot oven but he does an amazing job! Besides pizza, Blaze also has salads and these heavenly s’more pies for desert!

5 star… Duh! This concept is perfect! It’s a pizza place, but so much more. Basically you can choose anything you want from sauce to toppings(and there are plenty) in the fashion of a tell em what you want sub restaurant. Want two toppings… Sub $ 8. Want 22 toppings? Still sub $ 8! Say what??! Ikr… The pizza is around the equivalent of a medium anywhere else. This is an amazing bargain considering the cost of the typical burger combo these days. The wait isn’t long at all because the ovens are set at a higher temp to make sure everything is cooked well and quickly! Not only that, the pizzas are good tasting! Unless ur EXTRA hungry, this will probably end up being two meals. Taste to price/value ratio = very high. I’m told a pizza restaurant with this same concept is coming to bham very soon… Hope so and can’t wait… 5 star!

So I often times see my buddy Blue checking into Blaze Pizza, and wonder what’s so special about it. I like pizza and roadtrips, so I figured I’d hit I95 to try it. You know what, Blue’s right! The place is a real casual, upscale fast food place. They have some«standard» pies you can customize. I went for their Red Vine, Blaze’s take on the Margherita pizza. Served on a perfectly crispy thin crust and with a decent smattering of ovalini mozzarella balls, freshly small and tart cherry tomatoes and red sauce to which of course I asked for extra. To the standard toppings, I also asked for Turkey meatballs and red peppers along with the olive oil drizzle at the end. Sodas are also unlimited refills. The cashiers and kitchen staff were pretty friendly and glad to recommend and customize my order. It’s a great spot for a quick lunch or casual dinner. Trivia: I read that a certain basketball He Who Shall Not Be Named is an investor in this chain. I will say that in addition to the two rings, he left a cool new pizza chain.

I rarely give out 5 stars, so I may be judged for shelling out this 5 star review to a fast casual pizza joint. I don’t care though, I have way too many reasons to gush over Blaze. I first discovered Blaze through this month’s CMYE. I was very skeptical of a pizza place that could fast-fire a whole pie in less than 5 minutes(180 seconds to be exact). The CMYE was amazing and every single thing I tried was so tasty. I knew I would be back to Blaze, it was only a matter of time. Sam and I came to Blaze after putting in a workout at the LA Fitness across the street. Counter-intuitive I know, but I couldn’t help it. I needed me some Blaze! The line to order was fairly short, maybe only 3 or 4 people ahead of me, so we were able to put in our orders very quickly. I pretty much ordered the same thing I got at the CMYE– regular crust, red sauce, shredded mozzarella, fresh mozzarella, parmesan, banana peppers, green bell peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni, and chopped garlic. Sam got a pizza with regular crust, red sauce, shredded mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, pepperoni, ham, bacon, sautéed onions and pesto drizzle. Less than 5 minutes later my pizza was done and I was ready to chow down. Soooooo good. I enjoyed every single bite of that pizza. Sam was kind enough to trade out a slice of his pizza for one of mine so I could try his creation. Oh my Lord was his good! I couldn’t believe how rich the flavors were. My pizza was pretty damn good, but his was like one of the best things I’ve tried ever. The tastes of our pizzas were out of this world, but nothing compares with the price– $ 7.95 per pizza, c’mon!!! So cheap! I’m seriously salivating writing this review. I CANNOT wait to go back to Blaze. There is no doubt in my mind that I have found a new love. My only problem now is choosing between Blaze and my other love, Chipotle. I guess I’ll just have to take turns.

So I was really happy to find out this location is only a 3 minute drive from my job. The Davie one is the same distance from my home, I don’t know, they definitely built these close to me on purpose. This is my second time coming to this location but it was very different this time around because I came during my lunch time. I came around 1pm– parking? Ridiculous! I even thought parking in the back would be empty but nope, people were parked all over the grass. I thought to myself, I am not going on lunch and coming out to my car being towed from the grass so I will keep looking around. Parked a little far so I had to walk slightly but walking is good for you so… good for me. I like their side patio which has its own door so I didn’t have to walk around to the front. There was no line so this was perfect as obviously I am on a time crunch for lunch. The first person who usually takes your order has to write your name. She didn’t know how to spell my name, ok maybe it’s not common?, but then for my co-worker– Alba? A-L-B-A? I don’t see that being hard, maybe they should have someone else doing this part. Either way, my pizza was delicious as usual and I got my co-worker to finally try it after bragging about it for so long so I got Blaze pizza another customer for the future. I don’t know if I’ m being biased because the Davie location is dear to my heart but Blaze pizza, I love you no matter what. Thanks for being better than common pizza spots(Dominos/Pizza Hut– yes I am calling you out!).

Pizza! Pizza!!! After seeing with jealousy through the entire week how my fellow Unilocalers checked into this place, I told myself«Hiram by the end of this week you must have to check this place out» so I did. After a long work day and homework my wife and I decided to go to Blaze Pizza and give it a shot, and boy glad we did. As soon as you walk in everybody welcomes you with a friendly smile. We went to the line and one of the girls behind the counter was kind enough to guide us through the process since we advise her it was our first time at this place. First of all she said, 7.95 make your own pizza… at that point I fell in love of this place, however I made sure this was true so I asked again if for $ 7.95 I can add everything I want? and she said yes. With that said I added to my pizza over 10 items, yes you read it right. That pizza should be call the monster pizza. My wife being a cheese lover got the Art Lover pizza which is make with 3 different type of cheese and artichokes, we added sea salt and oregano(mama mia’). Like if this wasn’t enough judging a place without having just their regular we also ordered the simple pie(plain cheese pizza) Almost ready to started building our own pizza, the girl on the counter mentioned something about S’mores and then she started talking about this little things with marshmallows and chocolate and grahams with so much passion that I said stop it right there, and give me two. The S’mores we took them home, and paired them with a nice Russian Stout, they are superb, and thinking about them makes me want to stop by and get more to have them at home. The place decoration is really cool, it has this really nice industrial facility look with nice a beautiful mural on their biggest wall. People is so friendly and the price is super affordable, eating gourmet Pizza doesn’t have to be a luxury anymore thanks to these guys. The only reason cause I don’t give them 5 stars is simple. I would like for them to get some plates for the pizza, even if it’s a paper plate, but just a plate, I dont really enjoy eating from the tray, is not a big deal since this would not stop me from going back, I just think it would be nice and I know they can make this happen, and also their beer selection needs to be a little bit better. Overall I give this guys 4 ½ stars. I highly recommend it, and I will be bringing some friends soon. Good luck to them on their new Journey.

So… I was really bummed out that I missed out on the CMYE on Tuesday this week because I had class. My girlfriend Elizabeth was able to attend. Even though I encouraged her to go, I was secretly extremely jealous. I demanded that she bring me a slice. She did one better, brought me a free pizza coupon. In case anyone is wondering, pizza coupons are the way to this man’s heart. I stopped by after work today to sample this pizza that I have heard much about. My first impression when I walked in was that I had found the Italian version of Chipotle on steroids. They have EVERY topping that I could imagine. I had a lot of trouble limiting my choices when the pizza girl told me I could have as many toppings as I wanted.(This is probably why the phrase«build your own… anything,» doesn’t really work well for me) I ended up settling on a white pizza with both mozzarella cheeses, ricotta, spinach, and fried ham. I must admit that Elizabeth insisted that I get both mozerella cheeses, and I’m glad that she did. The staff was friendly and the pizza was great. I must admit I’m kind of sick of these industrial style, «build it yourself» type, cafeteria restaurants. But Blaze is far better than most in this category. Well done Blaze, you’ve earned this Unilocaler’s return visit… tomorrow.

The boyfriend and I had some coupons for free pizzas, so we thought we’d give them a try. Turns out this place is a nice pizza joint that had people continuously coming and going throughout our meal. As others have said and you’ll see if you go, the concept is similar to Chipotle or Subway. They only have 11″ pizzas, but you can choose between white flour crust or a gluten free crust. From there you can select pizzas with pre-selected toppings or do a BYO(build your own). The BYO is an 11″ pizza with unlimited toppings and is what definitely draws people in. For $ 8, it’s really not too bad. On the drive there I checked out their website to see what toppings were available. Not all the website listed toppings were available, but I would suggest doing this if it’s your first time so you have an idea of what they offer. Still, they have plenty of toppings so don’t be worried. To name some — Sauces: red, spicy red and cream. Cheeses: feta, parmesan, mozzarella and goat(?). Veggies: olives, banana peppers, spinach, chopped garlic, roasted garlic, red peppers, basil and mushrooms. Meat: sausage, smoked ham, pepperoni and grilled chicken. Finish with a sprinkling of oregano and or sea salt if you’d like. The place is a nice and comfortable with wood like furnishings and feel. I really enjoyed the pizza I had and would come back again.

Pizza is always a point of contention between my friends. There are those that say«It’s not really pizza unless it’s from some little hole in the wall in New York City» or «Deep dish is the only way to go!» — You know what, these guys need to get over it and scooch over to Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza for lunch. The concept is novel. A personal size(11 inch) thin crust pie with as many toppings as you’d like and a drink for under $ 10.00 and in 180 seconds… I don’t know about you, but that’s in my budget! The toppings are fresh and of a great variety. Cheeses are all there, mozzarella, gorgonzola, parmesan, ricotta and for sauces you have spicy, regular, and even a white sauce! If you’re like me, you could come up with a million(slight exaggeration here) combinations for your pizza. They even have a gluten-free option for the dough at an extra charge. Now, I ordered a regular sauce, parmesan-mozzarella with sausage, red peppers, mushrooms, roasted garlic and oregano pie this time around. But, I’ve got my eye on a spicy sauce hawaiian(mozzarella, ham, pineapple) for next time. I may even order ahead and pick it up instead. Oh yeah, their website has that option! The fast casual segment has brought some Innovative concepts to satisfy our ever changing appetites for wholesome foods. Blaze is another example of the do it yourself fare. I walked into a hip modern loft ambiance with friendly staff. This is the«Subway» of pizza. You get an 11″ dough then you walk through a cold table with gazillions of Meats, sauces, vegetables and condiments; all for one flat rate of $ 7.95 per pie. They also have a suggested set of combinations availabke on the menu. I picked the classic tomatoe sauce, added mozzarella, chorizo, meatballs, and two other meats, tomatoes, Mushrooms, green peppers, artichokes and two kinds of Olives topped with garlic, cilantro and feta cheese. After paying, I went to get my drink and cutlery and sat down. Within minutes they called me to the pick up station where a «pizza artist» was going slicing my pie fresh out of the oven and loading my pizza onto a tray. Well, the result was cooked to perfection and delicious! I would say way too much food for one person. Still, delicious! Wow! Love it! Will be back! Only $ 7.95! Yes The experience, quality and quantity of Food is amazing at this very low price.; keep it going Blaze!

I was really surprised by this place. The pizza is really good. Not only that, but they crank it out quickly, and you can customize your pizza rather easily. I entered on a Monday afternoon(it was a holiday), and the place was empty. Having never been here, the lady behind the counter explained how it works. You pick your sauce(I recommend the spicy sauce), your meats and other ingredients. They toss it in an oven, and you wait around three-to-five minutes. It’s pretty fast. I thought the pizza was pretty damn good. I will certainly return and try other pairings. The pizza is a perfect size, too. Not too small, and not too large. This is another good option on Andrews avenue.
