First time eating at Steak n Shake. Had a burger before getting on the plane back home. Surprisingly tasty for terminal fast food. Made me want to visit an actual Steak n Shake. Burger was thoroughly cooked, the onions were huge and raw. I’d ask for no onions or grilled next time since I’m not a huge onion fan.

A real rip off. Rude service and worst burger. No condiments on it or offered. Fries have no flavor not salt. I even ordered a shake. They have all kinds of offerings, so I got the butterfinger. For $ 4.40, it’s watery ice milk with butterfinger crumbs on top. Not cool at all. I’m done with Steak n Shake.

I had a 2 hour layover from Dominican Republic, so I walked the airport to find some food, if you been to this airport you would know they mostly have overpriced snack booths mostly. I ordered the«steak n fries» combo with a chocolate shake, very busy place, so I’m not sure if they cooked it or not like other reviews state. It wasn’t bad, it was pretty good actually, yes I’ve had better, but I would eat there again.

I only gave a 1 star because zero was not available. This is our first time eating at Steak N SHAKE and I honestly expected more from a $ 5 fast food burger than McDonald’s quality which by the way, is better. I asked for chilli and cheese on my fries and according to the cashier, there is no option to upgrade. My husband ordered a Frisco melt and it is just two pieces of meat with one piece of cheese on white bread. It felt like prison. The bun my burger came on was a generic brand. Overall the empanadas at the bar would have been better and they sat all day in a heater.

This location seems like a good choice at the airport to pass time with a burger. WARNING: unlike other Steak & Shakes where food is cooked and prepared in front of you, it’s from frozen products in this locations. Not sure why there’s a long wait in that case.

Deffinetly recommend for anyone that loves their burgers to check out this spot. Fast and very good tasting strakburgers! I’ll defiantly be coming back

Signs of improvement. Service here is becoming a tad speedier and marginally more friendly. Food is still pretty good and reasonably-priced. If they keep it up, they may make it to 5 stars!

I respectfully disagree with the other reviewers. My spicy burger was pretty darn good and came with fries for under $ 5. That is the least I have spent on food at an airport in my life. 2 stars just for that. A delicious Oreo Shake to top it off for $ 4. Sold!

No Sale. Even if it’s on the menu as a topping for a menu item, you can’t buy it separately if there’s no option for it on the preprogrammed computerized ordering system. I just wanted a couple of fried eggs. They’ll fry an egg if you order the burger that comes with the fried egg on it, but if you don’t want a burger you’re SOL. In any third world, backwater dive I could buy a couple of eggs. What’s wrong with this picture?

Decided to get a quick bite to eat before my flight at this airport Steak ‘n Shake. Pros: Price wise is probably the cheapest way to go for a meal at this terminal, which is probably why the line was rediculously long. Food is not bad but not great also. Cons: Cashiers inexperienced, super slow taking orders causing the lines to be backed up. Kitchen looks to be confused, how long does it take to make burgers? Especially for a lunch rush kitchen should be prepared and not cook one burger at a time. Food presentation was poor, fries were poor. Manager looked extremely stressed and seemed unorganized. They had these buzzer things to let people know when their order was ready but some seemed not to work and people were just standing around waiting. Finally the worst of it, I asked the manager for Ketchup because there was no condoment station, and he said to my face«sorry we don’t have any available right now» Wait a minute… you are a burger place with fries and YOUDON’T HAVEKETCHUP? UNACCEPTABLE… I would have given 1 star but the bbq burger was not bad, fries were nasty though.

No real options in the terminal and settled on a 14 min wait for a cold burger. Woulda been happier going hungry… and will next time based on the service & food quality.

Roger S. is dead on about the service issues at this place. It took over 15 minutes to get our order of 2 burgers, fries, and a shake. We didn’t get the shake up front which would have made sense and it was melted when they gave it to us. The organic USDA burger option is great and the burgers weren’t bad — but I asked to add jalapeños and pepper jack to mine and was charged extra and only the pepper jack was on the burger. The fries are good but were cold. They don’t give you ketchup or spoons for your shake so you have to ask for everything. Go to Pei Wei instead. They actually cook some things and look more efficient. There is also a Jamba Juice to choose from if you want to be more healthy.

I have not had Steak ‘n Shake in perhaps 5 years. It was the opportune moment during a long layover and a very underwhelming Pei Wei chinese fastfood next door for me to relive this experience. Granted I had just come back from Colombia, where food was delicious, but left me craving for Americana. I ordered the Royale steakburger, which was supposed to come with hash brown, but came instead with fries. The burger was exactly what I needed — juicy double steak patties with bacon, and FRIEDEGG(YES!). It’s not as delicious as In-n-out, but then again, what is? It hits the spot. The fries were OK, not amazing like McDonald’s. I also got the chocolate milkshake, which also hit the spot, but was not as good as some of the others fast food joints that offer shakes. Overall, I think it’s the place to get food in this terminal for a captive customer base.

$ 8.00 for toasted wonderbread and two«steak» burgers with cheese… I’ve been robbed.

This establishment does not make burgers. In fact, they do not cook any type of food. Their staff are hired to heat up frozen food from cartons. I ordered the Portobello Mushroom and Swiss Burger and it was still cold. You had one job.
