Style In

My experience at Style In was horrible. I went in looking for a new pair of Sanuks. I was told that they didn’t have my size but they would «check in the back». What really happened is that the guy helping went out to a store a few doors down, bought them, ripped off the tags, and brought them in for me. He then told me that I would get a «special discount» for having to wait. I agreed and my girlfriend and I walked to the counter.
When we reach the front the guy helping started commenting on my hair and at one point reach out and touched my head. I asked him not to touch me and he did it again. Not wanting to cause a scene in front of my girlfriend, I just ignored it.
So I grab my receipt and head to the door. When I get there I see that I was charged $ 79.99 for shoes that were listed at $ 65. So much for that discount. Also they were the wrong size!
I approached the guy who sold them to me and explained what happened. His response «oh well»!!! So I ask to speak to a manager and he says that he is the manager (after asking another employee it appears that he is not). Then he told me if I came back the next day he could refund me??? Why not now?
As this was happening, another employee found my size and offered to give me the price difference back. I said thank you and headed out. The «manager» yelled a very professional «f##k you» from the back of the store.
I would love to get the name of an owner of this place.

This is a little shop near Beach Place that sells your assortment of beach apparel, sunglasses, shoes, and the like. While the selection of merchandise is top-​notch, the pricing and the service are what knocks it down in my mind.
I’ve been in here two times. One time where I purchased something, and once where I didn’t. The first time, where I bought a pair of flipflops, I was in the store for a good 30 minutes window shopping to kill some time waiting for a friend. I saw a pair of shoes I liked and decided to try them on. When I asked the gentleman working for my size, he was somewhat standoffish, then comes back and tells me he didn’t have the ones I wanted, but of course he had the more expensive ones. Sadly I liked them so I did buy them. What was annoying is that I went home and found them $ 10 less on the manufacturer’s website-​not even a discount site. So their markup is a bit much.
Same goes for the second time I came in here. I was killing a little time and a Lilly Pulitzer dress in the window caught my eye, so I decided to go in and look. I went and peeked but they didn’t have any smaller sizes, so I walked right out. I got dirty looks from someone at the counter the entire time I was in the store.
