Much improved experience from my last visit(about a year ago). Friendly staff and the quality you can expect from subway

I ordered a turkey sub this week before going to the beach. Subways can be inconsistent but this one was excellent. The meat portion was more than usual and the sub was quite food and great for a meal on the run.

I was reading some comments about this Subway and they are crazy, Nick H. complained about not having enough vinegar, and about a lady talking on the phone, that lady is one of the nicest employees there, and that day she was off duty, about the vinegar, you can always ask for more right? Everybody knows that not all franchises are equal, This Subway is one of the best in the area, I’ve been coming here for years and they always keep the same level of quality.

A good solid subway branch. Not enough tables so it’s hard to find a place during lunch time. The staff is funny– i had to explain what a cock zero was and how it looked so the eoman at the counter could get me one from the fridge! WTF?!

Subway food is practically the same every where you go, so I go often expecting the same flavors every time. If you’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all… so you know the process… they make the sandwich right there in front of you putting the items you ask for on the sandwich. I have the same, simple order every time: grilled chicken on wheat, provolone cheese, lettuce, extra tomatoes and a lot of vinegar… as in, I like the bread to be a little on the soggy side. Sure, it’s a weird request and I usually have to tell the sandwich preparer to add more or keep going after their first pass. So… I know what I like… well… I don’t need to be talked out of it and be told how«not good» I was making my sandwich. Needless to say I didn’t get my usual amount of vinegar. Other than that, food-wise everything else was fine. There was no one in the restaurant when I arrived, but there were two employees working. Needless to say one of them wasn’t busy… that’s fine, but chatting away on your cell phone while sitting on an infant’s high chair doesn’t look very professional. I realize there is going to be down time, but the floor needed to be swept and there was no brewed iced tea in the unsweetened container. I wasn’t totally disappointed by my eating experience, but the lack of customer service(regarding the vinegar on my sandwich) and the unprofessional behavior by the other employee was definitely a detractor when comparing this with other Subway restaurants.
