This place is a dive! It doesn’t look too bad from the curb, but once you walk into the office, you’ll know what you’re in for. The condition of the room was terrible. Doors difficult to close and lock. Very noisy. This is going to be a long night!

I did a lot of checking online before deciding on somewhere to stay, and then ultimately booked this hotel. I was not disappointed. let me first start out by saying this is not the Hitton or some other fancy hotel, so if that is what you are expecting, or want, then please be happy to pay twice or three times what this place costs(or more). When I arrived, the owner was very nice and because he saw I was there alone at the time and female, he gave me a room toward the back corner, probably the safest spot(not that the others weren’t safe as well). The wifi is pretty good, it goes out from time to time, but pops right back up. The parking is pretty decent, I only one time had an issue on a Saturday night, and we were still able to squeeze in somewhere.(These are two things you pay extra for other places, parking and wifi). The room was nice. It had two beds, tv, kitchenette(which was very nice and saved us some money), good sized bathroom, etc. The room had tile floors, which I appreciated as I can only imagine that the sand would get really nasty in a carpeted room. Each morning the owners, a very nice married couple, would make their rounds doing their cleaning and taking care of the place. No matter the time of day we passed by them, they were always friendly and polite. My husband and I went to Miami to go to the beach on the Saturday we stayed there and they offered us not two, but four beach towels free of charge. Our room was always cleaned nicely. This place isn’t fancy at all, but it certainly does the trick. The temperature controls worked great, bathroom had no serious issues, and overall it was a pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for affordable and aren’t expecting the Ritz, this is a great place to stay with lots to do nearby. The beach is a very short walk away and there is a really nice art walk about a block south of it. On the first Saturday of the month the art walk really lights up with a bunch of artists/designers/jewelers, etc coming out and offering their crafts at great prices, we picked up about 7 or so really nice, unique items there and were really happy with it. Lots of restaurants nearby and plenty to do. Would recommend to anyone.
