We got there on Friday afternoon, we ordered sushi and two for one drinks, it was three girls and we each got different drinks, they were all great, the vibe was casual(we sat outside) the waiter was awesome, she came around often to make sure we were doing good, and she constantly served their roasted corn(which we loved). I would definitely recommend this place!!! Everything was great.

This place is amazing! Our server, Jay, was awesome and knew so much about the menu. He’s a personal chef, so I trusted his recommendation on what to eat. We ordered a few different sushi rolls and one entrée. Oh and dessert, the crack pie… WOW! So good. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to try something different.

Stumbled on this place by accident. We were pleasantly surprised. Fusion places generally don’t work for me, but this was an exception. A really good Pisco sour(2 for $ 8 at happy hour), good ceviche and good makis. Cute name: SUshiceVICHE. SUVICHE.

Finally a hip Peruvian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday and she picked this location in Las Olas to celebrate. I was worried the establishment would be full on a Friday night for a party of 15. We called ahead and no big deal, they guaranteed us they would have seating for us. I had never heard of this place so I looked it up before going. At SuViche they specialize in SUshi, ceVICHE, and pisco. Now this does not mean they have a Japanese menu and a Peruvian menu to choose from. They combine both cuisines and mash them together to elevate flavors and create fun and exciting dishes. Peru has become an internationally recognized gastronomic epicenter for fusion cuisine and seems to be the latest craze. I cant complain though, I love seeing what Chefs come up with. They had a Pisco bar so of course I had to try a couple of drinks. We started off with a Classic Pisco Sour which is a Peruvian classic. Pisco, sour mix, egg whites and a dash of bitters. If you’ve never tried this before, what are you waiting for? no seriously, what are you waiting for??? We tried something different later, The Blueberry Pisco. Flavors of blueberry, thyme and pisco. It was a good but nothing like the classic. Back to food. While we waited for my family to get there, my girlfriend and I chose a sushi roll for an appetizer. Everything looked so appealing to the pallet so we had a hard time choosing. We recruited help from our server and he suggested to get two half portions of sushi so we could try two rolls. We got the Miami roll and the Samba roll after our server talked them up. They came out quick, they tasted fresh, and most importantly they were delicious! The Miami roll comes with spicy mayo, who can argue with that? The Samba roll had crispy shrimp covered in crema de aji amarillo, what a creation. Make sure you try this roll even if you are full and you cant eat no more, its that good. Once the table was seated we ordered some appetizers. We started with two types of ceviches in a cup. They offer it in three sizes. cup, bowl and seafood bowl. The Aji Amarillo Ceviche which is your classic version of the Peruvian dish garnished with sweet potatoes, canchita, onion and corn on a yellow pepper sauce. We also got the Rocoto Ceviche. Similar to the previous dish except that they only garnish with crispy onions in a red pepper sauce. Both great selections and will recommend to anyone. For my entrée I chose the Pescado Escabeche. My mouth is watering just thinking about it right now. Their menu described it as flaky and succulent white fish breaded with Japanese Panko crumbs, lightly fried, served with crisp potato rounds and escabeche sauce. I could eat this everyday, and although they specialize in Ceviche and Sushi, this dish was executed very well. If I had the smallest complaint, it would be the potato to fish ration, it could of have used an extra slice or two of potatoes, but other than that, I was happy. An added TIP: try the Drunken Monkey. A pisco shot with two gummy bears soaking in it.

Where to start… had been on lookout for new walkable lunch spot on Las Olas and thank goodness for Suviche. Everything from the ceviche to the sushi to the rice and chicken tastes fresh and delicious. And paired with one of their pisco sours only makes it better. The outdoor seating is a nice touch for enjoying the lunchtime weather and people watching. The only issue with this place is that it’s way too convenient when there’s a moment to escape form lunch.

The food is really good at this place but the delivery has been not so good. They sent someone who does not speak English at all and I did not understand anything. Thankfully my friend was with me but it was very frustrating.

Though noted as being located at 401 East Las Olas Boulevard, Ste 150 which, technically correct as being a part of the 401 Complex, actually has a street address more commonly known and GPS identified as 150SE4th Avenue. SuViche is a restaurant with an innovative combination Peruvian/Japanese food scheme making the statement that they are not Japanese or Peruvian, «We are SuViche,» in what was formerly Mancini Modern Italian restaurant. The restaurant itself is setup very much the same as was Mancini but with a more casually simplistic décor along with the addition of a large awning covering over the entire sidewalk fronting SE4th Avenue offering plenty of outdoor seating. One of the carryovers of Mancini that I like is the bar at which you may either be seated outside under the awning facing inside or inside facing outside. When I entered SuViche there was a hostess stand but after waiting a while and there being no hostess I merely told one of the staff I was there to eat and was in turn told to grab a seat anywhere. After a few moments, a waiter came to my table with a small bowl of toasted Peruvian corn to take my order. I mentioned that I would like a ceviche. He then indicated to me upon the menu the SuViche Ceviche, a twist upon a Peruvian«acevichada» flavored with Japanese spices, that he considered his favorite and which I ordered. After a moment a young lady stopped by, who by appearance I couldn’t identify as being a staff member. She asked me if I was ready to place my order but advised her I already had ordered. Then another young lady, again not identifiable as a staff member, stopped by and again I was asked if I was ready to order. I told her what I had already ordered mentioning it to be my waiter’s favorite, but was laughingly corrected when she said«Oh, yes, but I think that’s actually his boyfriend’s favorite.» LOL! Whosever favorite it might have been, it arrived in a good presentation, contained plenty of Peruvian corn, white fleshed fish, onion, what seemed yam, or to get really technical about it, I suppose one of the dioscoreaceae instead of the ipomoea batatas family(how’s that for a mouthful of banal verbosity?), all in what was a remarkably tasty sauce. For my second dish I ordered their«Fury Roll,» a basic tempura roll comprised of tuna, avocado and scallion topped with their special«huancaini,» a creamy cheese like sauce rather similar to the more well-known Peruvian salsa criolla. Though good in texture and flavor, the evidence of it containing any tuna was at best scant. For my final course I went for their«Tuna Tataki» consisting of slices of seared tuna and what they state as being a «Sashimi Avocado» with an in house orange honey tataki sauce. For $ 6, the special happy hour price, I didn’t expect much and indeed didn’t get much as the tuna only consisted of four slices cut paper, if not less than paper thin. I could probably go Four Stars on SuViche if I were rating solely upon food, it being innovated and unique, but being the grumpy old curmudgeon I am, I always rate not only upon the food but the overall dining experience. One that count, Suviche just didn’t rack up very well with a hostess podium but no hostess, only two of their service staff identifiable as servers, then only by their black t-shirts, and worst of all, incredibly horrid as well as downright annoying background music. I can only describe the background music, being overly loud, as some obnoxious form of «Industrial Twink» as is most often associated with or heard in underage alcohol free gay dance or rave bars. Ugh!

This has quickly become one of my favorite places, and not just because it’s a 2 minute walk from my building! I LOVE Peruvian food and if you don’t know what to try go for the Chaufa(either one), and the Ceviche is second to none! Plus great specials & late night happy hour with good indoor/outdoor ambiance! A true hidden gem!

We had the seafood ceviche with a side of their signature SuViche sauce, and two types of hot sauce. The ceviche was perfect. Fresh and not overly salted. We also had the Pescado Escabeche. The sauce was amazing, the white fish fried in panko crumbs was crisp and succulent. I would come back to Ft Lauderdale just for this dish. The potatoe rounds soak up the sauce perfectly.

I love Suviche… from the very first time I visited their Wynwood location I love them. Was really happy when, at the New Times Pairings, I saw their table and announcing they were open in Las Olas. Immediately I made plans to go with my friends. As you know, life keeps us busy so it took a couple of months to finally get all of us together and last night we made it! Really cute place. Even though I love the look of the swings at the Wynwood location, the rustic furniture and chill vibe this location has is very welcoming. The outside seating is very relaxing, comfortable and perfect for a date or to enjoy some appetizers and drinks. It offers some intimate seating, as well as sofas for bigger groups… now, watch that PDA, this is after all«outside» seating and on display for all passerby. ;p We opted to seat inside. They were not busy, only some people seated at the bar so we got to choose where to sit: Bar, high tables, regular tables or booth table. As soon as we sat, the server immediately came with menus and to offer us water. Thursdays is «ladies night», which we found out right there… 2 for 1 drinks! Awesome! I was ready for a pisco sour and lucky for us this location has the Pisco Bar. Only problem, they don’t have passion fruit :/ Well, I got the next best thing to it on the menu, Pineapple. Really good! One of my friends ordered the Lychee and that one I recommend too. To start we order some ceviche, and the Lomo Saltado Spring Rolls. The Suvama ceviche with mixed seafood was my favorite of the ones ordered. It comes in a bowl — good size to share. The Spring Rolls were delicious. Dip them in the sauce, it makes them even better! Time for the second drink… To try something«new» I went with the Thai Chile Pisco Sour. You would expect something spicy but this was sweet. I think they got it mixed with another order or maybe forgot an ingredient so the bartender made another one. This one had some heat but I was still not impressed. I will stick to the fruit ones as I know they make them real good! As entrée, I had been craving Aji de Gallina all day so, obviously, that’s what I ordered and it did not disappoint. I do suggest adding some Sriracha or Salsa Amarilla, if you like a little bit of kick, believe me you won’t regret it. Just talking about it makes me want to go and get more. For dessert we share a Suspiro. This has always been my favorite dessert here. It’s a small portion but perfect for us to share at that moment. Must make a note that even though service was really friendly, and helpful with recommendations, for not being busy that night, they were a bit slow. We had to flag a server to get our second drink, and at one point all 3 servers were by the coffee machine while we waited to be noticed to request the hot sauces for our food. The(I think) manager, had to come out and bring it to us. Other than that this was a great experience and we will be coming back.

Miami Transplant to Las Olas. I had gone to the Suviche on south beach about 6 months to a year ago and remember thinking to myself, I like it here but it’s not worth coming to miami for. Well, now that they have a new location just a few miles away I thought I’d give it a second try. On a Friday around 8pm, the restaurant was only at about 50% capacity with plenty of bar, inside, and outside seating. Opted for a nice table outside despite the rain. One downside to eating outside is you realize that this place is directly next to a subway be and when you’re outside you could almost feel you’re at one too. For drinks there’s a heavy pisco menu. I had the Thai Chili one which was good and pretty hot on the spicy scale. Then I had the blueberry thyme pisco sour which the waitress sold as sweet and savory but it was more just sweet. My 3rd drink I did the cinnamon pisco shot which was good but the shot didn’t taste much stronger than the cocktail and was basically the same price. For the food. It was decent raw fish and average sushi. The tiradito was nice and mixed seafood ceviche was great. The sushi menu is full of fried and cream cheese which generally are not my favs. Overall a nice meal but not something I’d schlep to miami for.

Sushi. Ceviche. Great Drinks! That is just a pretty decent mix if you as me! I knew of this place from their Miami locations! I have always been a fan. When I heard the Ft Laud location opened, I couldn’t wait to go. Walking around Las Olas one Sunday, we decided to pop in. It is by far the largest location! Giant inside dining room. There are some outside tables and a long bar as well. We opted for inside, because it was a little hot. Unfortunately, they were dead! I say unfortunately because I love this place so much, I want everyone else to love it! I am sure they get lots of business during the day for lunch and with delivery/takeout! We started with the Lomo Saltado Eggrolls which are awesome! Very good flavor, especially with the mustard. I ordered the Berry Margarita! OMGOMGOMG. Never disappoints. By far, one of my favorite drinks ever! Nice and sour! To eat, I ordered the Perfection roll(half) and a small fish Suviche. Consistent taste, fresh fish, and everything was so good! I was very happy with my meal. The service was very good. Even with only a few tables she was attentive, but not smothering! Cant wait to go back! Will definitely try to make it for ladies night!

Quick update: SuViche’s happy hour is not to be missed. 2−4−1 drinks beer, wine and well drinks, including their famous pisco sours, from 3 pm to 7 pm. Had a fantastic evening sitting at their chic and comfy outside tables while enjoy some small plate tapas(spicy tuna rolls, small ceviche portions $ 5 – 7) and great company. I even made my husband drive all the way from Miami Beach to join me. 2 appetizers and 4 pisco drinks each came to $ 55 bucks including tip. They even had a DJ spinning a nice, eclectic mix of tunes inside the restaurant(great for dancing through the restaurant on the way to the powder room). Been to many happy hours on Las Olas and this by far is the best deal and best ambiance for the money. Who wants to stand in line waiting for a drink at 401, YOLO or Royal Pig? No thanks, I’m hanging at SuViche’s.

Walking around Las Olas we saw SuViche and thought we would finally check it out. Our favorite location is the one in Wynwood. My daughter and I would visit frequently especially for their fabulous happy hour. This location is very nice with an outside /inside bar and a large dining area inside. It is off the beaten path and could be hard to find without looking it up. They were quite slow when we stopped in for lunch on Sunday. Our server was great, she alone deserved four stars, very helpful and friendly and took great care of us. We started with the Saltado Spring Rolls, they are very good with scrumptious flavored ground beef and spices. They come with a mustard type sauce that I did not care for so our server brought over some extra spicy sauce that was awesome. They are very small. I chose the seafood Aji Amarillo, squid, octopus, fish and shrimp in a colorful flavored paste with an explosion of many flavors. I have had this before and I really enjoy it. My hubby ordered the Mexican seafood ceviche, and it was ok. I expected more flavor. Service was great, prices are average. One huge turn off was after I ate I went to the restroom and although it was very nicely decorated, my shoes were sticking to the floor it was so filthy, it stunk so bad and was just so dirty. I could not understand for an early Sunday afternoon how a restroom could be so filthy. No excuse, they had plenty staff that could have cleaned it properly. Really left a bad taste for me.

I wanted to love it because Las Olas needs a new spot for lunch and/or dinner and drinks, but average food and poor service left me disappointed. I was with two colleagues who wanted to try something new so we settled on SuViche. We wanted to sit outside in the large covered outdoor space. There isn’t anyone manning seating out there so you have to just grab a spot and hope for the best. After a recent«over-in-five minutes» south Florida rain shower the outdoor chairs on the edges of the awning weren’t wiped dry so we had to find someone to wipe them down, but it only partially worked because the plastic webbed chairs retained a ton of water. Wet butts aren’t great for the return to the office. They’ve also made the most of the space to create the outdoor area, but be forewarned that the outdoor space is also a pedestrian walkway and a lot of people will be walking past during the busy lunch rush. We loved the Peruvian cancha(corn nuts) that were served with our drinks, which sadly weren’t refilled as lunch progressed. I ordered a side salad and natural tiraditos. The salad was pretty standard with leafy spring mix with diced tomato, cucumber, and other standard veggies. Kinda of like pico on top of a salad. The tiraditos were very good with a bright citrus flavor that still allowed for the flavor of the fish. My colleague ordered a side salad and signature SuViche ceviche. His exact words were, «yeah, don’t ever let me order that again.» He said the flavor profile was really strange. My other colleague ordered Pescado A Lo Macho, essentially fish with aji amarillo, potato slices and rice. He said it was okay. Sadly, the group was underwhelmed with everything but the tiraditos. Probably the most annoying thing, other than wet chairs, was the flighty service. Our cooked fish entrée arrived a solid 10 minutes before our essentially non-cooked fish entrees. It’s just awkward when one person is trying to politely not be finished with his entire lunch when others are still waiting for food. I hope this place can pull it together before it becomes another Las Olas side-steet casualty.

Went back last night to give it another go. … boy am I glad that I did. A completely different food experience! SERVICE I’m sorry to read that some people have had bad experiences with the service. The first time we came in, it was slow and we received really good service. Last night was even busier and the service was just as great as the first time. We were greeted immediately at the door by Ryan and were seated right away. Then our sever Gabby was awesome. She gave really good recommendations from what to eat to which cocktails to try. Erin was there as well and was as helpful as before. FOOD Decided to try a different ceviche, sushi roll, and drink. The standouts for the night were: Citrus Fire Roll–(Mango, jalapeño, tuna and cream cheese topped with lime and a chili-pepper infused eel sauce.) This was a really good roll. … the lime was a really nice addition. Sweet, sour, with a nice kick to it that didn’t hit you until the end. I would definitely order this roll again. Rocoto Ceviche–(The rocoto pepper is a staple to Peruvian cuisine. Garnished with crispy onions, twist on a traditional favorite) This is the ceviche we should’ve tried the first time. It had a good amount of heat, not overwhelming or overpowering. The combination of the ceviche with the fried onions and the seaweed strips was quite interesting and like nothing I’ve had before. Our first experience with the food wasn’t the best. I can appreciate owners that take the time out to listen to their guests and take pride in their businesses. SuViche changed my mind and I’ve become a fan!

After anticipating the opening of this restaurant over the past few months, the day it finally opened my phone rang nonstop. Even though I had just had a baby less than a week before(and was on a strict diet), I had to go! After a few calls to my parents to watch the babies, we were off. As excited as I was, I couldn’t eat most of the delectable offerings– including drinking my beloved Pisco. They offer a full range of Pisco beverages, including a unique item called, «Drunken Gummies” — gummy bears soaked in Pisco! Suviche offers Pisco drinks mixed with all your favorites– blueberry, citrus, lychee, gummy bears, mango, lemongrass and more. I quickly mentally bookmarked this place for my first stop when I started drinking again! The staff was friendly, inviting and happy to address any questions from inquisitive patrons. Excellent staff. The space was warm and casual. An informal spot perfect for this just off Las Olas location and should do well. Since my current diet limits my fish intake, we ordered a beef and a chicken dish. We ordered: App: Lomo Saltado Spring Rolls Salad: Quinoa Salad Entrée: Chicken Saltado Chicken Saltado: chicken sautéed with onions, Lomo sauce and tomatoes with rice and fries. Delicious and flavorful. Definitely a dish I would return for. The app was described as all the flavors of Saltado in a fried wonton. For me, this dish was nothing but fried. I missed all the flavors of Saltado– just a piece of beef surrounded by fried. Disliked and would not reorder. Quinoa Salad: quinoa with onions, avocado, carrots, cucumbers in a teriyaki and ginger dressing. Yummy with fresh flavors. Would definitely order again. Overall, nice experience and would return!

TLDR — 4 stars for food, but 3 stars for service and ambiance… pushing me sadly, to average out at 3. If you were cool enough to join me on the Miami UYE Ceviche Crawl, you’ll know I’ve already been to a SuViche location before(that was the Brickell one), though I will note that by the time we reached SuViche I was ceviched-out and only tried their sushi. Fast forward to now, SuViche has finally opened in my neck of the woods(Las Olas) so I was eager to give them another try and actually try some ceviche! Located in the old Mancini’s(almost directly across from the entrance to the YOLO parking garage) they’ve taken the space and brightened it up a bit, though the dinner crowd was slightly sad for a Thursday night at ~8pm, especially considering it was ladies night and drinks were BOGO. I fear this location may be too tucked away from the strip and may fall into the same fate Mancini’s succumbed to. Our server came over immediately, and I got the sense she was new and maybe unsure of herself. After we eventually ordered drinks she wanted to take away our food menus, as though she felt we only came for drinks? Also, getting descriptions of the drinks wasn’t easy and she basically pointed me back to the menu for my own reading. Drinks were solid, though small. I tried the Blueberry Thyme Pisco Sour and the Coconut Pisco Sour, with the Blueberry Thyme definitely being the winner. For food we opted for the — *Lomo Saltado Spring Rolls — best described as a mini empanada. These were good, but not amazing. *Roboto Ceviche(with fish) — DELICIOUS! Great sauce, great texture with the addition of fried onion! Fish chunks were still firm. *Arroz Humedo — Good, not great. The description of risotto had my mouth watering, but then I realized it’s basically a paella. Don’t get me wrong, I love paella, but I maybe could make this at home. It was still pretty addictive though. *Citrus Fire Roll — I’ll tell you to skip their sushi. It’s nothing special, though the descriptions would lead you to believe otherwise. Rolls are pretty small and compact. Ok, so perhaps that doesn’t sound like it sums up to a 4 star food experience, but considering the prices, and just how good the ceviche and rice were, well I’d go with 4 stars. Oh, and the drink, don’t forget the drink! I think they are still undergoing some training of the staff, spreading the word of their location etc. I’ll happily come back in a few months after all the growing pains are worked out, and hopefully they’ll be much busier!
