This place has amazing tacos and even better service, especially Samantha, who always delivers excellent service and makes fantastic recommendations. The Taco Tuesday special is unbeatable but arrive early because it’s gets busy fast. They also have great daily special tacos.

We came here on a Tuesday where all Tacos are only $ 3 each along with some drink specials. We took our time to order as this was our first visit here. I got the Exotico Margarita special and my husband got some draft beer. The margarita wasn’t bad but I’ve definitely had better. For an appetizer, we got chips and salsa. They were so good! I think the salsa was some of the best I’ve had around. My husband and I each got 3 tacos each. I loved my gringo and carne asana tacos but the braised chicken felt like it was missing something. The lime crema on the tacos tasted great too! My husband had chorizo, short rib and a pork taco and absolutely loved the chorizo one! He loved the flavor that the fried egg gave it. Our server was really helpful and nice and I think she did a great job. Would we come back? Maybe. I would definitely not want to pay full price on the food and the place is ridiculously hot! It’s a small place and has AC but that didn’t seem to do much. Wish they had some fans running too.

I tried this place once before, and I was underwhelmed, perhaps because it was a Saturday night, crowded, loud, and slow service — by the time I got my food I was seriously hangry. So, fast forward almost a year, and let’s change the scenario to a lazy Sunday afternoon, on Memorial Day weekend. It was awesome! It was not crowded — just busy enough. The service was good for the most part with the exception that our waitress mixed up our bill with that of another table, but she was very gracious about it, and made the necessary corrections without much fuzz. I ordered the Taco Platter — You pick any three tacos on the menu, and it comes with a side of refried beans and rice. I picked the chorizo, short rib and baja fish. The chorizo and the short rib very pretty yummy, however, the baja fish taco was not one of my favorites, for no specific reason, other than I didn’t enjoy it as much as I did the other two. Next time, I’ll try the Ahi Tuna taco, instead of the Baja Fish. The restaurant is doggie friendly, which is great for those afternoon strolls and bites with your pooch.

We were there on Saturday night of memorial long weekend around 11pm. The place was packed like all the other restaurants on the street. There was a DJ right outside in the front which really complimented the outside seating. The tacos were great, the fresh chips and salsa were amazing and the cocktails were also fantastic. Overall, it was the perfect spot to enjoy some food, drink and music on a late Saturday night. You truly feel like you are on vacation in the Caribbean even though you are not.

Found this delicious place on Unilocal and so thankful we did! Came here for some late night food and drinks. For once it wasn’t horridly hot outside so we decided to eat outside to enjoy the nice weather, live music, and drinks. It’s located on the strip where other bars, restaurants and clubs are located. Pretty lighting and outside furniture to go with the south Florida feel. We were pleasantly surprised with the DJ playing really good music and getting the crowd dancing and really into it. First we ordered the guacamole which was very very good. The chips were crisp and tasty. I ordered the strawberry and basil margarita on the rocks. I’m new to ordering margaritas as me and tequila have never been friends but it appears were working things out. This was seriously was the best margarita I’ve ever had. It was so well balanced and had fresh strawberries and basil muddled into it I didn’t even taste the tequila! Nom! They had a huge selection of tacos and a quesadilla bar where you could choose your own meats to go into it. My hubby got the steak quesadilla which was so good. My friend got the chicken quesadilla and that was also good. These were huge portions so I suggest you split it with someone or you have another meal for later. I had the shrimp and skirt steak tacos. The shrimp taco was my favorite! Overall this place had amazing food, drinks, service, and live music on a Saturday night. I would definitely come back here. Saw that they have free mimosas and sangria 10am-3pm on Sunday’s for the ladies! Say what? Yes I’ll be back for that next time!

What a great find! The tacos here are AMAZING! It was my first time here at Tacocraft. After a great previous experience at ROK: Burger right next door, I decided I would have to check out the«taco joint» next door. The tacos were in the range from $ 4 – 5, and were presented on nice wooden platters. I went with a taco platter which came with 3 tacos of your own choice. I went with shrimp tacos, crispy pork and chorizo. All of which had great flavors. My favorite was the crispy pork. The addition of the pineapple was a nice sweet contrast to the savory pork. If you are in Fort Lauderdale or near the area, Tacocraft is a MUST! In comparison to other taco places such as Rocco’s, this takes the cake! Service was fine and the atmosphere is very young and hip. Not great for children. Check tacocraft out!

I will definitely come back here for Taco Tuesday. I was surprised that we got sat so quickly because it was quite busy but we arrived around 6:30 thanks to traffic going south on 95. I ordered the Chorizo, the Skirt Steak, the Ahi Tuna and the ROK Shrimp. I was convinced that I ate them in order of deliciousness. The Skirt steak is delicious, I wanna make sure I make note of what was in it so we can recreate them at home. There was tomato, sour cream, and cheese. The second best one was the Shrimp, there isn’t much in it but the sauce they use for the shrimp is amazing. It also has a kick to it. Next was the Ahi Tuna, I was saving the chorizo for last because it looked the messiest. lol Ahi Tuna was missing something but it was still good for ahi tuna, very light and not too overbearing with flavor. The last I tried, which was a miracle that I even went for it because I was full at this point, was the Chorizo. Chorizo is hit or miss with me. I liked the presentation, the egg on top and the flavor but it wasn’t my favorite. I was most excited to try this one thought because everyone spoke so highly of it. I am glad we came here for Taco Tuesday, $ 3 tacos and discount drafts. The boys ordered drafts but they didn’t have most of them which was a letdown but didn’t ruin my experience. Yeah, they didn’t have this draft or that draft but you can never go wrong with a Hop Gun. :P

Full day of boat shopping culminatung in 3 tacos and a margarita. Live music, dive atmosphere. Food order: skirt steak, Baja fish, chorizo taco plate. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Ecellent designer tacos. Service is a bit spotty but friendly. If you have tattoos and love smoking your vape pipe, this place is custom made for you.

Waitress wasn’t knowledgable about menus or drinks. Wasn’t eager to ask about info she couldn’t answer. I’m a vegetarian and have food allergies so I needed a few questions answered before i placed my ordered. Also just wanted another type of vinaigrette for quinoa bowl and was charged for a tiny little cup of it without being told it would be extra. Use to have a great meat substitute here aswell. Was marinated tofu I believe. The waitress said they no longer have that. Still very good food. But service is really lacking. Last my bf wanted his Mahi mahi grilled not fried. Apparently couldn’t do that either. It was not busy here either since we dined early at 6.

What’s better than taco Tuesday’s?! A friend and I were in the mood to try a new restaurant on a Tuesday evening and we thought again, what’s better than taco Tuesday’s! We decided to come into to taco craft at 6pm and it was not as busy at all like we imagined. It’s located on 2nd right next to ROK Burger. There was no seating indoors but there was plenty of outdoor seating. We were seated right away and our server was very pleasant. The décor is bright and lively so I enjoyed the atmosphere. On Tuesday’s they have a $ 3 taco special and $ 6 margaritas. Tacos are served individually which is nice because you basically get to sample. My friend and i each ordered margaritas which were served in a green mason jar with a salt rim, super cute and tasty, not strong though. We each also ordered three tacos. I ordered the crispy pork, fish taco, and chorizo taco. My favorite was the fish taco(which is odd because I love beef and pork). It was served on a flour tortilla(others are served on the corn tortilla) with a great sauce and bed of cabbage. Next I’d have to rank the chorizo which was well seasoned and served with a fried egg! Delicious! My least favorite was the crispy pork which was pretty disappointing because it wasn’t crispy and it was served with grilled pineapple which just didn’t work for me. I felt the pork was dry and on top of the corn tortilla, it was extra dry. Overall I enjoyed the food and service. Good came out quick and I was a happy camper!

As a strong supporter of Rok: Brgr(Ft Laudy), I’ve been anxiously planning my visit to Tacocraft, since we moved back to SoFlo in Feb. There are a few points I’d like to make on the eve of my inaugural«Taco Tuesday.» 1) All margaritas are NOT $ 6. We ordered Skinny Margs and they were $ 12 each. 2) All tacos are NOT $ 2. Only the select 3 – 4 tacos they decide to include that day. Do not expect that every taco is on special because it’s only«SOME Taco Tuesday» 3) The tacos I had were good… Baja Fish being the best and also NOT included in the taco special. 4) Order the Guac app. It’s only $ 12 and you get enough to feed a 40 person picnic(including your weird aunt), side note… I don’t know how it tastes I just know everyone left at least 6 avocados of uneaten guacamole. All-in-all Tacocraft should probably figure out the app portions and if they advertise $ 6 margaritas and $ 2 tacos… maybe they stick with that for the price? In the mean time, I’m going to check out some different Taco Tuesday’s for my second round and see how they compare.

I have been here a couple of times mostly because of the bottomless mimosas for ladies. I love that it normally doesn’t have a wait during brunch when most restaurants around have a 20 – 30 minute wait– but at the same time it used to make me think that maybe if it didn’t have a line it wasn’t so good. I was wrong! All the waiters I have had have been very attentive and extremely nice. The guac and chips is a great started while you wait for your food. My favorite things to order are the french toast and the huevos diablos. I was not a huge fan of the Mexican hash, I thought it was missing flavor for a Mexican restaurant. During the whole meal the servers make sure to keep up with the free mimosas or sangrias. My only complain has to be that the music is really loud. Each time that I sit down at this restaurant for brunch a little part of me regrets it because of the music. It is so hard to hear what the person in front of you is trying to say.

After a long day in the park with the pups my friend and I worked up an appetite. We were very close to downtown/Himmarshee and knew there were several places that are dog friendly and have lots of outdoor seating so we headed over to grab some food. Initially we were going to get burgers but then we saw Tacocraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar and completely changed our plans. For one, who doesn’t love tacos, right?! And two, I have heard so many good things about this place we just had to try it. The restaurant was busy and pretty full when we arrived on a Sunday around 4ish but we were still able to get a table outside immediately. The hostess girl just sort of pointed us at the table so we just kind of seated ourselves which was weird but whatever. The waitress came to the table with a bottle of water and glasses and was happy to bring me 2 bowls of water for the pups too, which was much appreciated. Everyone including the dogs was very comfortable. We decided to start with Nachos and Strawberry Basil Margaritas. The nachos were HUGE and absolutely delicious. I love the fresh fried chips they served because they were thicker than regular tortilla chips that you get at most places so they held together better with all the toppings loaded up on top of them. The margaritas were good and strong I really liked mine but I ended up drinking half of my friends because she wasn’t really enjoying hers. She expected a more strawberry blended type margarita and this was more like a regular margarita with strawberry slices inside of it. It was good but it lost the whole point of it being a «strawberry» flavored margarita. We were so stuffed from the nachos that we decided to share a meal. We ordered the 3 taco meal that you can mix and match and it comes with refried beans and rice. Then we just ordered one extra taco by itself so we each had 2 tacos and shared the rice and beans. We got the gringo(ground beef, lettuce, tomato, cheddar, sour cream flour tortilla), Baja Fish(Funky Buddha battered Mahi, slaw, avocado, pico de gallo cilantro, chipotle crema, flour tortilla), Crispy Shredded Pork(adobo-chile rub, cotija cheese, charred pineapple, salsa verde, crema), and the«Prime» Ribeye Carne Asada(queso fresco, refried beans, cilantro, crema, pico de gallo, roasted tomato salsa). The crispy pork and the baja fish taco were the stand outs for me then the ribeye. The gringo was good but just basic and I enjoyed the creative flavors of the other tacos the most. The pork was so flavorful and actually crispy! The fish was a nice size portion and the sauces and slaw went together with it well. The carne asada was very good and they gave you lots of meat. It wasn’t over cooked either, it was still nice and juicy. We shared bites of everything and the rice and beans were pretty darn good on their own as well. They have 2 house made hot sauces and I tried them both. The green one was my favorite but mostly cause it was the spicier one of the two lol! Service was just ok, the server was nice and helpful but every time we asked for something it seemed to take forever for her to get it to us. We had to get new forks and plates twice because the ones she brought us were dirty. It was busy but not that busy but the food redeemed the service so I will be back for sure. Drinks were a bit overpriced as well those margaritas were $ 12 each and I know it’s a pretty average price for downtown especially but they weren’t $ 12 drinks if you ask me. Lunch ended up costing me $ 70 for 2 people which in my book is A LOT! Especially since we only had 1 drink each and ate TACOS! I believe they ONLY have happy hour on Tuesdays as well.

This place is cute and right on the strip. I came here after my flight was laid over for an entire day and decided to visit our friend who lives down the street. The drinks and food were both good. I just really like the location and the environment.

First off. Best fish taco I’ve ever had. I’m coming back just for this taco! I ordered the three tacos + rice and beans special. The tacos I ordered were the sweet potato, the fish and a pork taco. The sweet potato taco was good for a vegetarian option but I’m a carnivore at heart so I’ll probably skip it next time. The fish taco was full of flavor and was so crispy and delicious. The carnitas taco was delicious and moist. Yum. Rice and refried beans were good. I would like to come back to try the guacamole I hear a lot of people talking about. Nice and friendly wait staff.

If you come here starving, make sure you don’t see the nachos at any point before you sit down… You will immediately want them and will order them. Don’t tell you I didn’t warn you. My friends and I went on a Saturday, around 7pm. Wait time, we were told was about 30 minutes. They don’t give you a buzzer thing nor do they take your phone number, you just have to stay close to hear when they call your name or else you might lose the chance to get the next available table. One star off for that, it’s not a big place to have a bunch of people outside, waiting for someone to shout out names, which I think would also be uncomfortable for people trying to enjoy their food. We decided to go right next door to have a drink(or two) while we waited. Well, almost an hour passed and we were sure we had lost our table. Nope, hostess said there was still one couple ahead of us and then we would be seated. She welcomed us to the bar, to wait with a drink. My friends were starving, and while trying to get some drinks, that’s when a server came with this enormous plate with FULLY loaded nachos. It took all will power in us, not to put our hands in there. They looked so good, and at that same moment our name is called for our table. Server comes to greet us and take our drinks order. Immediately, one of my friends says we’re ready for appetizers as well. We had already agreed to get the guacamole, and she added the nachos with chicken, still looking at what she would get as an entrée. I was surprised we were still thinking about more food after ordering those appetizers but, hey, go with it. Guacamole came out first and it is one of the best I’ve had. Fresh, creamy, well-seasoned, although I added some of the green spicy sauce on the table(now it was perfect!). The chips it comes with, I think are house made, because they were warm, crunchy and perfectly salted. We were half way done with the guacamole when the nachos came out. I swear this were bigger than the ones we saw at the bar, of maybe our hunger was subsiding and it seemed that way. Still we dug in. These are amazing… same chips, loaded with melted cheese, refried beans, sour cream, tomatoes, chicken and jalapeños. We knew still had to eat the tacos we ordered but, these were so good we just couldn’t help ourselves and kept eating more. Ok, forget my warning, and just order them! These are a MUST try. Thankfully, the tacos took a little to come out of the kitchen, and I made myself stop eating so I could breathe a bit. Good thing about the tacos is that they are ordered in singles. Unless you do the platter, which is 3 tacos, rice, beans and pico de gallo. I ordered the Crispy Pork taco, and the Rock Shrimp taco. Crispy pork was not crispy at all but flavor was great! Tortillas taste fresh and authentic. Rock Shrimp also not crispy. This one I just had to leave the tortilla untouched since I was too full but still wanted to eat the shrimp since it was my favorite of the two. I do have to mention the drinks. I ordered the Spiced Pineapple and it’s a must! I’m not a fan of Tequila but«When in Mexico…» :p On this drink it’s subtle and what comes out is the pineapple flavor and the kick of the chili. Also tried the Caliente, this one is strong. You can definitely taste the Tequila and the burning sensation in your throat, still very good for tequila lovers. The strawberry-basil margaritas seem to be very popular, and looked really good so, must come back for those. They do Taco Tuesdays, and have happy hour until 8pm End of the night, miraculously, we were able to walk, and not roll, out the restaurant, still talking about how good those nachos and guacamole were but, how next time that should be all we order or skip one(good luck deciding). No regrets, everything was amazing, including service, and can’t wait to come back.

One of my happiest happy places is a good fish taco and a good margarita. Tacocraft gave me both. I went with a group of six on a Saturday night and we were quickly sat outside. We ordered six margaritas(I had the traditional, it was awesome) and a million-ish tacos. I had the shredded pork and the fish. Both of mine were great, but one of my friends had the chorizo… which was incredible(and had an EGGONIT). Definitely going to get that next time, as well as try the Rok Shrimp! Despite the food, drinks and service being awesome, my favorite part about the entire experience was the music. They spent all night playing 90s/00s hip hop. I’m like the least dance-y person I know but even I was dancing when«Let Me Blow Ya Mind» came on. It was amazing — if every Saturday night is like this at Tacocraft then you’ll know where to find me.
