We ate here last weekend after the local beer/barbecue festival. The menu seemed like it had a few good options, and each meal could come with your choice of fries(for a charge). Others at the table went for the truffle fries with their burger, I went with the sweet potato fries. Food came out fairly quickly and was good. It must have been a fluke that day, but almost everyone at the table noticed how extremely salty the burgers were, despite all getting something different. It takes a lot for my to notice something like that, but it really was a little much. Didn’t stop me from finishing it though. If eat there again to try some of the other options on the menu, hopefully not as salty next time.

ROK: BRGR is a popular venue, with bar seating, table seating & booth seating. There’s also an outdoor area. The service was wonderful, our waitress was very prompt, friendly, and knowledgable about the menu. She was excellent and, sadly, I can’t remember her name… UGH! My party of 3 started with 2 appetizers, house made fried pickles and roasted jalapeño peppers … Which were DELISH ! Then we ordered dinner which was also DELISH… Considering a lot on their menu can be considered«bar food», it didn’t taste greasy or previously frozen. We were very happy with the menu choices and service and will absolutely visit again. :)

REALLY good burgers. And the brioche buns are a very nice touch. I also had the loaded tots. Good was great. Portions are huge. I could only finish half.

A downtown Ft Lauderdale favorite for late night yummy, flavorful and rememorable food is hands down ROKBRGR. They are open late and you will enjoy sitting outside with the street DJ entertaining you along with the locals during the short wait for your food. Don’t be discouraged by the many delicious calories because there is plenty to do and get into with just a short little walk up and down the main street. You can find a place fit to your music style to dance those delicious calories away. #rokbrgrbarandgastropub #fallynsfoodieexcursions #latenightvacationfun

I wish I could start every week like this. Rok Brgr offers all burgers for $ 10, all day on Mondays. I picked the Truffle Burger with a sub lettuce wrap. It was topped with mushrooms, caramelized onions, truffle oil and truffle aioli. This burger rocked my world. Now, that’s my type of Monday! Tip: The 2 for 1 chips they give you during happy hour can be redeemed at Taco Craft, Public House, Pizza craft or the Apothecary. Great deal for bar hopping during happy hour.

Excellent place for a burger and a beer. Been here a couple times and it is usually busy but the service is always good. Little pricey but you would expect that down here. Mac N cheese is excellent as well. Spinach dip was decent at best. Would pass on that and of course the burgers and fries are great. They did over cook my burger the last time why they get 4 stars.

If you would have asked me before our last visit what my Favorite Burger Joint was, Rok Burger would have definitely been in my Top 3. However, after our last dining experience with them it is hard to imagine this to be true. We were craving a Nice Gourmet Juicy Burger on a Taco Tuesday Afternoon so we decided on Rok Burger! When we arrived they were dead with no servers in sight. Not necessarily Out of the Norm especially on an early weekday afternoon. We decided to take a seat since the Bartender saw us and she would get our server. This happened, however it took our Server over 15 mins to greet us as she«Got stuck in the Kitchen». With two Pups in tow and Indecisive Minds we decided to wait it out. After a mind boggling wait of 30 mins just to get a beer we were ready to order! What we had decided on and what we ordered were not the same. When our server came out to take our order we wanted to order the Cuban Burger Medium Rare! Something different and unique that we usually wouldn’t get. Our Server however made a different suggestion towards the Chefs Special: Late-Night Cravings Burger. With Bacon Jam & Onions Rings this sounded like a good idea as well. We scratched our original order and ordered the Late-Night Cravings Medium Rare. But wait… «If you order your Burger Medium Rare it won’t come out hot.» Umm??? What do you mean? Hungry and over the ordering process we went with Medium Temp with a side order of Poutine Fries which are a $ 4 UpCharge with your Burger. Impressive Presentation but the Taste… The Overcooked Burger Patty, the Soggy Onion Rings, what is this Chipotle Mayo eVerYwhEre… And last but not least the Poutine Fries were the saddest and most off putting Poutine Fries I have ever encountered. I highly recommend not stepping near these but to rather go with their delectable Crispy Tater Tots! Not a desirable or satisfying meal to say the least. To keep it fair on previous visits we have Loved the Bacon Jam Burger, Sweet Carolina Burger, Southwestern Burger, tried the Turkey Burger and my absolute favorite the South Floridian Burger! Also, you can not forget about their Crispy Hot Tater Tots! Tater ToTs! TaTeR ToTsS! Located on the Riverwalk Restaurant Row you will find PayByPhone Parking Street Side all around or in nearby Parking Garages. They have Indoor and Outdoor Seating with a Smaller Bar. And for those that like to enjoy the Hot Outdoors during the Steamy Summer Days they provide Fans blowing Mist to keep you Cool Outside! In same Ownership as Himmarshee Public House, Pizza Craft, and Taco Craft I know they can serve up a good Burger but… For a lunch the Pups only enjoyed for $ 50+ we will be very hesitant to return in the future.

Whew. Talk about the biggest burger iv ever taken on in ma life. If i ate 25 percent of it, im being generous. Walk in and its a refreshing departure from the frat party, turn up vibes of every spot. Much calmer, mainstream hipster vibes — yaknow, illustrations of cows and 12 dollar cocktails. The bacon infused old fashioned was yummyy. If portion control on the food end is overkill, on the alcohol end im loving it. For 12 bucks you get a lot; granted, im a new yorker, so i imagine for the locals this is a premium. Im nibbing on the peppered bacon, perfectly cured, as i wait for the main course. Got the sweet carolina, cuz it won the south beach food and wine award. I see the appeal, melt in your mouth pulled pork, soft brioche bun, aged yellow cheese and a lot of onion, fried and raw. Mmmm. And after really eating nothing today except a samosa, this filled me up right quick. I see why florida has such a big problem with heart disease and cholestrol and diabetes and welll… all of the above. Hahah. It was bang bang tho, def one of the better burgers in my book. Given it is a $$$ experience.

Last year I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. I was eating meat at that point, and we both got the burger with bacon jam and brie. It’s amazing. Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. I love the sweet potato fries. We each had a drink or two. Needless to say, I was in shock when I received a bill that was triple digits! It is pricy, but the food is very good. I’d love to go back sometime to try their veggie burger and their brunch!

I was in Fort Lauderdale for a friend’s birthday party and we decided to make a weekend out of it, ending up something like a gastrotour of sorts. We came here on the recommendation of my friend on a Friday night. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating is a bit dark for my taste but it still wasn’t bad. The openness of the front of the restaurant with the patio and the TVs showing the Heat gave it a very Florida feel. The server was extremely friendly and chipper! Service here was great. Even though it was packed our burgers came out quickly and a little hiccup with no silverware on our table was taken care of so quickly. To the server with the southern pinup girl tattoo on her left arm, you are awesome. Now to the food! I ended up getting the special Cubano burger. It was amazing! I ordered it medium and this thing was MASSIVE. The tostones with mojo sauce’s texture and saltiness complimented the tender and juicy patty so well. The sweet sauce in the burger was also a welcome addition and the buns were perfectly buttered and toasted. If you’re looking for a burger with a little South Florida flavor, look no further. The portion sizes are also huge making the semi-steep price tag for the burger worth it.

Went out to celebrate my roommate’s birthday Saturday night and she wanted to pre-game and eat dinner at ROK: Burger. We got there pretty early around 5pm so we decided to saddle up to the bar first and grab some drinks and a few appetizers to start with. It’s one of many places to choose from in the Himmarshee area of Fort Lauderdale and definitely worth stopping at for some good food and drinks. The bartender was very friendly and made sure we always had full drinks in front of us. I ordered an old fashioned that was kicked up several notches by adding bacon to it(why hasn’t anyone added bacon to my drink before?! This was genius lol!). They also have bacon wrapped blue cheese stuffed olives that they hand make that she let us sample as well that were over the top awesome! We decided to order their amazing mac & cheese to start and some calamari. The calamari comes with spicy hot peppers which I love cause they add a little kick to the dish and the mac & cheese is always a winner here, we killed it pretty quickly and had to order another one after we sat down later for dinner lol! After a while of drinking and hanging out at the bar we were finally sat in the back to have dinner. My friend and I decided to share and the smoked jalapeño poppers caught our eye so we had to try them. I have never had them smoked before and they serve it with a siracha ranch sauce in these little shot glass type cups. They were really big and had the right amount of heat to them we really enjoyed these. For our burger we went with the Sweet Caroline(aged cheddar, bbq short rib, coleslaw, fried onions and bourbon bbq sauce). This burger was AWESOME and HUGE!!! I am so glad we decided to share this because there was absolutely no way I could have finished it on my own. Service at the table was ok, we were a big party so the waitress seemed a bit frazzled but she handled it okay. They shoved us in an awkward spot in the back near the bathrooms and sometimes you could tell(and not in a good way). We were also sat way to close to another large party of people where I literally felt like I was sticking my butt in their face just to squeeze in the side to sit so that wasn’t much fun lol but overall this is an awesome place to eat and hang-out.

I have come to Rok Brgr both for lunch and for brunch. I have to say that the brunch is better by a long shot. Even though the wait for brunch is normally long if you go around 11 – 12, it is worth the amazing plates on the menu. They have very unique dishes such as donut burger, and breakfast mac n cheese which are both great! I also love the free mimosas for ladies, I think that’s the best part of it. They aren’t the best mimosas but they are free and the times I have gone I barely see the bottom of my glass. I think that the lunch is a bit overrated. We normally came because my dad loved it but I never found anything out of the ordinary. The service is normally slow, but I understand it is a prime location so I can’t expect the opposite. The sweet potato fries are pretty good, but again, nothing that I would wait more than 20 minutes for. So if you’re thinking of going(and you are a lady that loves mimosas) I would suggest brunch. It also has a very nice ambiance and great if you like to just sit back and people watch!

This is easily my favorite Burger locations/restaurant in Fort Lauderdale and maybe ever. It’s been almost 2 years since I was in Fort Lauderdale and the first location I went to right after I got off the plane was ROK Burger. The food is still delicious the staff is still great and friendly and just as confident as ever in what’s on the menu. The menu hasn’t changed at all other then the names of the food on the menu. But it really doesn’t matter because it still has the great flavors and tastes that I was familiar with before. I highly salute and recommend you come to this location because as I stated earlier its the best burgers that I’ve ever had.

Was In town on business again and wanted to try a new place for dinner. A few locals suggested ROK-BRGR. So four of us ventured down to Los Olas for dinner. The atmosphere is a bit dark and loud but had a great vibe going. We ordered the fontina mac and cheese with lobster for an app. It wasn’t anything special and had very little lobster, no reorder here. We all had burgers but I split a burger and the short rib grilled cheese with sweet potato fries with a friend. The filling in the sandwich was delicious but the bread was a bit hard from being over-toasted. The burgers were definitely the highlight of the meal. The meat was juicy and very well seasoned and the various toppings perfectly executed. Both fries were crispy and salted just right. All in all, really enjoyed the experience here.

What is it with Las Olas hostesses that have power trips? While this wasn’t as bad as O-B House, the hostess was a little intense seating my party of three. I was a hostess in a former life so I get it, but geez, three people in a tiny table is not the most comfy. Especially when the place isn’t even that busy yet. Anyway, gripe over. Came here for Sunday brunch and the food was good. The complimentary mimosas were heavy on the champagne, no complaints there. There is a front patio seating area or you can sit inside, we opted for inside since it was insanely cold and windy. There’s music blasting and this place is bustling with loud tables, so it’s hard to stay mad about a cramped table for long. Just enjoy the fun atmosphere. We started with the smoked salmon deviled eggs(4 to an order) and they were so so good. I contemplated also getting the french toast lollipops since the servers kept walking by with them, but will save that for next time. My sister enjoyed her customized eggs Benedict(you build your own), and our friend was happy with her smoked salmon bagel, which looked like a pretty generous portion of salmon with all the fixings. I devoured my hangover sandwich, which coincidentally, is not something I would eat while hungover, lol. The sandwich was massive, I could’ve just had half and been fine, but it was really good so why limit myself? Lots of bacon, sriracha sauce, avocado, with a fried egg that wasn’t too messy, this was a delicious beast of a sandwich. We washed it all down with a couple mimosas and were full and happy. As you should be after Sunday brunch.

ZERO. My Credit Card was skimmed there on 12/26/2015. The waitress forgot to bring it back to the table. I noticed and asked her where it went. she returned with it. Authorities have been contacted. Place definitely has potential, nice atmosphere and good flavor. Ordered appetizers 10 minutes before ordering burgers everything came out at the same time, and everything was cold. Bartender didn’t even ask how the meals were and it was slow. 80 $ for 2 cold burgers 2 cold apps and 2 beers.

Disappointed with the bar staff this time. They’re usually right on point and fast but today I waited half an hour for a salad to go. I asked for extra ranch dressing, they said they put it and they didn’t. When I called she made up some excuse for misunderstanding though I clearly asked her twice for extra ranch. She told me I can come back for it. The point in asking was so I didn’t have to come back. Very rude compared to the other girls that work behind the bar and not at all concerned that it took so long to get my salad and still screwed up.

We dined here before Book of Mormon and had a great meal! Fried Pickles were yum, Mac & Cheese delish, I tried everyone’s burgers, all were terrific, the Black and Blue with superb pepper bacon my fave. Sam was our server, loooove her, super attentive, great suggestions! We were there on a Tuesday at 5:45, had a great sidewalk table. At 6:15 the place was crazy busy, inside and out, but still had great service.

We hiked from the cruise terminal to downtown and was getting hungry. I had this spot bookmarked after seeing some locals’ reviews and pictures Nice sidewalk dinning area, as well as large inside seating. Plenty of shade outside. Service was quick and efficient. Drinks were refilled without being asked. Extra napkins brought out. The menu is burgers, sandwiches and salads. Nothing ordinary here. We went for the burgers. I tried the Bacon Jam, perfect med rare burger with bacon jam, carmelized onions, and a chunk of Brie. All on a soft bun nicely toasted and served with choice of fries, sweet potato fries or truffle fries. I’m picky about my fries– these had wonderful flavor with a hint of truffle and dusted with Parmesan cheese. But not crispy enough for me. The hubby’s burger was a try man’s burger. The Carolina– a burger topped with shredded BBQ pork, coleslaw and onion strings. Both burgers so juicy extra napkins required. They chef not afraid of seasoning, just the right amount of salt to enhance the meat. Salads and other sandwiches that passed the table were equally large portions. Check the menu for daily specials. We hit Monday $ 10 burger day. Nice score.

New Year, New Review! Sunday Brunch is still on point despite the fact they have removed the Lobster BLT from the menu. However, they had Lobster Sliders on special($ 14) and they were pretty tasty. Pair that with a basket of perfectly cooked tots and bottomless mimosas(for the ladies) and you’re in heaven! People watching is a must and Melanie at the bar was attentive. The music by DJ Luciano was great and I appreciated his Michael/Janet Jackson set. My friend and I eyed a unique looking dish and decided to also try the French Toast Lollipops. They were delicious served with a maple cream sauce.

This was a huge hit with my family. It is on a strip in a very busy part of Ft Lauderdale. We were told it would be 30 mins before we would get a table, and it was indeed almost exactly that. We sat outside in beautiful weather, luckily not near the speaker. The music is pretty loud but this was a Saturday night. My husband and I got different hamburgers, and it was in the top 3 burgers that I have ever had. Really great. I could only eat half as it was quite large. Reheated great for breakfast though! My son got the chicken and waffles, and there were 3 mini waffles, with 3 pieces of fried chicken tenders, with great peppered bacon on topped and syrup all around. He is 13 and loved it. Now for the down side. 3 of our meals came out and we waited for the chicken and waffles a LONG time. He didn’t get them until the 3 of us had finished our meals, and he was really hungry. They apologized, but never offered a complimentary dessert or a break on the check. I thought that was not professional. My daughter got the mac and cheese with nothing added and she liked it, but it was a very small portion. We also had the spinach dip with chips and that was good. Service was not great, hostess could have been ore friendly, and we waited a long time just for the check. By that time there was no waiting line of people, so we got little attention. Having said this, we would return. Food was really quite good. Atmosphere was great.

review is for Brunch only: I crave their brunch every weekend! It’s only served on Sundays… I really could use their Hangover sandwich most Saturdays tho. FREE mimosas for LADIES! it’s unheard of in Fort Lauderdale(the Bull Market next-door came close with their $ 10 dollars off special, but most other places are $ 12 – 15 dollars for unlimited) Even tho the mimosas are free, the waitress are definitely not stingy with their champaign, my mimosas are always see through… with a dash of OJ ;) I love their hangover sandwich, which came with mapple peppered bacon, avocado… and an egg! Definitely does it’s job. I got the krispy kreme burger once and it was very savory but I had to pass on the pool party later that day… yes it came with two glazed donuts as the buns… and an egg!(i think eggs make everything better) I also shared a breakfast mac’n cheese with my friend once. tasty and cheesy… and it came with TWO eggs!(haha, can’t you tell eggs spice up my food?) not sure if they gave us two because the waitress told the chef that we are sharing? either way, we devoured the mac’n cheese along with our own entrée. Great service too, the waitresses we had were alway attentive and were fast with the refills on the mimosas. I gave the place a 4 star because I came here on a Saturday with some friends(craving for their Hangover Sandwich), they didn’t have the brunch menu so we decided to check out their normal menu. Nothing really jumped out to us, but I made us leave to go next door because I didn’t like the smell that was lingering around where they sat us.

I visited this place Saturday night looking for a nice place to eat. I followed the reviews i Unilocal and choose this place. We ordered the Rokaberry to start. I taste like Dayquil. Horrible! We didn’t even finished it. Then we ordered the famous truffle burguers with truffle fries. The burguer was dry and taste terrible. The truffle was just parmesan cheese. Place is noisy. Motorcycles are constantly parking in front of the business so all the smog ends on your jose, your mouth and your food. Conclusion: ran away.

I would of hands down given rok burger a 5 star but one of my major pet peeves is the smell of dirty mop water. Let me elaborate, have your ever walked into a restaurant and the tables or whole place smells like they cleaned with dirty mop water, it’s a musty old smell. Well, that’s what I smelled at my table. Thank God I absolutely love their truffle fries and can smell past all of that to the delicious truffles !! They are definitely very generous with topping the fries off with the truffles, and by all means it finger licking good! My main dish was no suprise, I of course went with their truffle burger. I ordered it medium well, and it came as wished. Each bite was very juicy, even with ordering it medium well. The side sauce that came with it, had quite a punch. The burst of garlic flavor in the sauce paired with my burger perfectly, loved that they put it on the side as an option. As for my drink, I can’t remember the exact name but I think it was called rokberry. Such a refreshing taste, very light and tasteful. Yet, it came with a punch of alcohol… alcohol that creeps on you! I can’t even taste the alcohol in the drink itself, but it came with a punch. Half way through, I already had a nice buzz. Some may call me light weight, but any drink that you can catch a buzz half way and not even taste the alcohol is two thumbs up in my book!

Four of us stopped in here based on all the positive reviews. We got seated right away on a Saturday night around 8:00. Two of us started with the«famous» mac n’ cheese. Not sure what makes it famous, but it was indeed very tasty. Just the right amount of bread crumbs. Not too thick. Not too watery. And I enjoyed the presentation in the cast iron plate. The other two were happy with their lobster corn dogs. We all liked the burgers, but at least 2⁄4 of ours were overcooked. Kind of unacceptable when«burger» is in your business name and you ask the customers for their temperature preference. The fries were clearly hand cut, as advertised, but they were underseasoned. On a positive note, the service was outstanding and the prices aren’t too unreasonable. Two apps and four burgers and the bill came to just under $ 90. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Brunches with my girls here on a Sunday while on vacation while scouring Unilocal for bottomless mimosas. This place did not disappoint! They were actually bottomless, potent mimosas(the staff were really great and not stingy at all with the mimosas) and we got the French toast lollipops(I wish we had ordered more than one) — I devoured it in two bites and scraped the bottom of the glass for all the icing(yes, I’m a piggy). I can’t really remember what the other girls had to nosh(remember said mimosas) — but I had the build your own Benedict — with an egg, a waffle, lobster meat. It was served with a teeny mason jar of fruit and everything was delightful. I’m not sure if everything tastes better on vacation — but Fort Lauderdale has some serious noms around. It was tough to come back to Boston!

I absolutely love rok burger! There Cucumber bulldog drink is the bomb! It’s so refreshing. It makes me want to relax on the beach and drink them all day. I had three of them, they were so good. The bartender Kelly knows who to make good drinks and she’s such a sweetheart. Fried pickles were huge! They came with a smoked ranch sauce that went perfectly with the tempura pickles. There burgers are huge! I wasnt expecting such a big burger but boy was it good. I got the Sweet Caroline medium rare. It comes with BBQ short ribs, Cheddar cheese, cole slaw, fried onions and bourbon BBQ sauce. Everything on the burger went so well together. I wanted to just keep eating it but I could only eat half it was so big. I saved the rest for the following day and it was just as good as the day I got it. My husband got the spicy crunch which had chipotle gouda, there chili, Fritos, roasted jalapenos and cilantro sour cream. If you like spicy you will like this burger. We had a great time at rok burger we will be coming back real soon to try other things on the menu. I’m looking forward to trying there mac and cheese next.

Venue was loud, but fun. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the decore and the service. I also enjoyed the Old Fashioned they make, and my wife loved the free mimosas with brunch. We started with the deviled eggs. They were good, but they definitely needed the capers to offer some salty acid. I had the burger and eggs, and my wife had the build your own Benedict. Both items were good, but we agreed, they lacked adequate seasoning. Will definitely come back when we visit the area again.

Me and my husband wanted to try a new brunch spot. I’m really happy we decided to try Rok Brgr! Our waiter was awesome very sweet but for the life of me I can’t remember her name . I ordered the Mac and cheese with bacon and fried egg and it was delicious. My husband ordered a burger with a fried egg in it and the quality of the meat was delicious as well. I ordered a side of potatoes but stole my husbands tator tots. We finish up with the French toast lollipop and that was also so delicious! Overall it was great tasting food with exceptional quality ! One word free memos on Sunday’s for the ladies! That is one great thing about ROK brgr for Sunday brunch. They have a love dj from the patio and it was packed. We were able to get seated right away. They have a great menu but I was immediately drawn to the pancakes of the day apple crisp with whisky sauce. Before the food came out they gave us these mini biscuits not overly greasy and fluffy with a cinnamon butter. The pancakes were huge and amazing. I can tell the ingredients were fresh and made from scratch. I could taste the egg and they were not overly sweet. I tried my friends shrimp and grits they were very creamy and flavorful. My other friend got their French toast and it tasted amazing as well. All natural and you can taste all the flavors. The berry sauce tasted like it was mixed with bourbon. I loved it here. I need to come back and try their burgers!

One sure way to know if a place is good after you’ve gone is when you’re already anticipating your next visit. This is the case with this restaurant. Their burgers are sooooo good, I already I know what I’m getting the next time I’m there. On this visit i had the South Floridian which came with Brie and Pork Belly. The Pork Belly was like the cherry on top to the already creamy Brie and the juicy beef patty. I’ve previously had the Spicy Crunch. You definitely need to be able to handle your spice if you get this one. Nice chunks of jalapeño and the frito bits make a great addition. To top it off, this place has a great beer selection. Location is great too! There’s a bunch of bars near by, the museums, and the performing art center are all within walking distance. Service is great! We arrived on a Saturday at 4pm, which is considered early by dining out standard, and were seated right away and our server was really attentive. It’s a small place, so I can imagine the seating time gets exponentially longer as you get closer to peak time. Definitely can’t wait to come back and try the other burgers on their menu. They all sound great and are creative.

While visiting the are for the Swatch Volleyball tournaments I stumbled upon this street of restaurants. There was a decent size crowd in but not a wait which was nice. They have a Sunday brunch available but I came for the burgers. I had the spicy crunch since I’m obsessed with Fritos chips! It has a chipotle Gouda, Fritos, and a roasted jalapeños chipotle ketchup. Served with fries. The burger was amazing! Juicy and full of flavor! Plus decently priced at $ 12 – 15. My friend had the classic and raved about it as well! They had multiple TVs for football and sports which is nice. Also back to the brunch, I wouldn’t bring kids here on Sunday — they have free mimosas for ladies and two tables next to us were so drunk and so loud using really foul language. Had the food not been so great we would have left sooner.

I’ve been here three times — and I have no idea why. Maybe because there’s a lack of better burger places within walking distance in the Himmarshee district /downtown area /Broward theater(until Miami’s Filling Station relocated). But… this place? No. Just no. Stale and tasteless buns, and tasteless burgers. The only saving grace for it is the quality of the toppings. But that’s just not enough.

I fricking love burgers! Love them. Americana in it’s purest form. There are a few artisan burger joints around Broward that I love to go to when I’m in the mood for a juicy patty with delicious toppings, and after trying ROK: BRGR, I’ll have to add this spot to my list. They’re a much better than average gastropub. You can tell there is some sort of science behind the pairings of their ingredients on the menu.(or maybe I’m giving them too much credit, HA!) IE: The Fat Elvis; This is peanut butter and bacon with jam on a burger! I’ve heard of this type of thing before, but never seen it on a menu. It’s definitely next on my list to try. If you’re going to mix all of that stuff together… it must be damn amazing. Or else why on God’s earth would anyone have it on the menu? Right? My first time here I had the Truffle Burger on a whim that it sounded good. It includes baby swiss, exotic mushrooms, caramelized onions, truffle oil drizzle, and truffle aioli. Doesn’t that make your mouth water? Just thinking about it makes me want to get a burger here for dinner tonight. In complete contrast to my burger, the fries were soggy and flavorless. Honestly, that really put a damper on my experience. I understand that burger joints get most of their profit from fries. So, it’d make sense for them to shape up a bit in that department. The ambiance was very cool. The music was great if you like 90’s rock. They played a lot of Nirvana and Foo Fighters. The service was very good as well. Since there was something I didn’t like I can’t give an unabashed 5 star review, though I wish I could. I’ll definitely be back here to try the Fat Elvis… so if you’re reading this ROK: BRGR, please keep it on your menu!
