It’s Saturday and no cover?! Okay sounds good, no gripe from me. Decently priced drinks unlike their Neighbors– Passion. The mix is more in-line with top40 and some retro R&B. Pretty upbeat mix, and seemed like fun crowd. Although there were a few fights that night and brawls. Which is fine or expected I guess. There are tables off the side of the dance floor and outside if you want to socialize and people watch. Yes music enjoyable and lives atmosphere for sure.

Idk why, but Florida isn’t known for the smartest well rounded progressive people but I was shocked at the obvious RUDEANDRACIST behavior my dear visiting friend had to endure. She was told that her TYPE wasn’t the crowd that was wanted. No joke! Like tv style old school, jim crow, willie lynch, antiquated, slavery style. Amazed, that got me thinking, what type is that. The problem is she went with a group and was isolated for being the brown body. She was the only black and they didn’t want her or her money. The bouncer was Latino and was the rudest to her. I’m saddened that it is not surprising but more alarmed that they are still fully operating. Please don’t support this place. This impacts YOU. The food and drinks are also worthless. Not worth it! If they treat her bad because of her skin, just imagine the kitchen staff, cleaning bylaws and HR staff complaints that they have. This is the type of behavior that is careless and classless so why would they give you great food? They won’t. Blessings to them however because they are WICKED. In the meantime, Go somewhere else on the beach better views too! JH

I’ve been here a few times and I can honestly say that this place is one of the cheapest to eat/drink at hard rock. They have 2 for 1 happy hour from 5pm-8pm and their southwest egg rolls are amazing. They also have ladies night on Saturdays after 10pm which my gf thoroughly enjoys because they include her amaretto for Italian margaritas.

Came here Saturday night after seeing a show at the Improv. Place was kind of empty when we walked in, but the DJ was playing some great music. Was with a large group of friends so we posted up near the bar in the front and danced the night away. Drink prices were reasonable, and the music continued to be great. We had a great time and I would come back again if I was in Hard Rock and if the music was the same open format as that night.

Violent bouncers. I was pushed aside while washing my hands by the bouncer because he «was in a hurry». Music is terrible, lame crowd. $ 20 to get in which is insane for a dive bar. Better off going to Murphys Law. Again watch out for the bouncers, they are violent low lives who have accosted and assaulted other patrons as well. Read the previous reviews.

I went to The Swamp this weekend with friends looking to dance and have a good time … I was there less than an hour and the DJ played the same four songs no less than 4 times each. Bored with the music I went to get a drink, and ended up with the worst Blue Long Island I’ve ever had in my life(and I’ve had many). I was SO disappointed with this place I don’t think I’ll ever be going back!

Music– decent but repetitive. Drinks– HORRIBLE. Literally the worst drink I’ve ever had at a bar. I ordered Vodka Collins’ all night at Center Bar and they were delicious. Ordered one here and it tasted like Skol and a dirty lime. Gross! Crowd– mild energy. Mixed ages but mostly 35 and over. Staff– lethargic wait staff and the door guys were rude. Overall, I think this will be another fly by night bar.

WHYDEARGODDIDMYFRIENDBRINGMEHERE? Over Memorial weekend I visited some friends in Ft. Lauderdale. They know I hate the Hard Rock. They literally lied and took me the HR. I guess if we went to another place I wouldn’t care so much but come on! The Swamp Bar? There were people there my parents age, which isn’t necessarily terrible but they were a homely crowd. Cut off denim skirts, wedge flip flops and peasant tops(hoop earrings). No no no no!

I’ve come to this bar twice now, once for my 25th birthday and once last week. I like this bar because it is one of the few bars/clubs at the Hard Rock that have no cover. The atmosphere of the bar is very interesting– antler chandeliers and walls that look like building fronts. It also has a very«college» feel to it. Overall I enjoy myself at The Swamp Bar, but I think they could find a better DJ or spruce up their music selection. They mainly play top 40 with sprinklings of 90s and 2000s. The major problem that I had with the DJ was that he never played songs all the way through. You would get super excited to hear a song you haven’t heard in years, for example«The Thong Song,» and just as you were getting into it, he would switch it to something else. And always before the best part of the song too! I just wanted to yell out«Dude! can’t you see your audience is super excited to hear this right now?! Please don’t change it!!»

Great bar, nice atmosphere, very good vibe everyone can just come and let loose without being judged. Mixed diversity of people from 21 – 50’s lol we had a wonderful time not to mention Friday was ladies night so free drinks did not hurt one bit. Our waitress Lauren was on point she kept our cups full I will definitely container to come here.

Let me start with The Good cuz I got a whole lotttta bad and some ugly! Hard Rock seems to bring out the party people from 12:30am on. So if you’re lookin for a rowdy crowd to party with in the AM, The Swamp will do ya just fine. THEBAD — $ 20 cover charge for basically a bar with a dance floor. $ 8 tiny drinks in a plastic cup. $ 200 bottle services where seating is tables and stools regular seating. Did I mention a $ 20 cover for this place? Now that Pangea has said its prayers, I guess management is banking on supply and demand. This in hopes nobody looks at the actual product. THEUGLY — Is simply tryin to pass a common bar off as «The Next Big Thing at Hard Rock». My opinion is based on going once on a Friday about a month ago. I loved Opium. The closed it. I liked Pangea. They closed it. Don’t like The Swamp and it’s open. So maybe I’m just full of BS… or The Swamp will sink in a year or two.

One star is still too high of a rating! I’m utterly disgusted with this place and with Hardrock altogether. I will never step foot in another Hardrock or its affiliates ever again and am telling all my friends and family about this incident. There are specifics below but if you’re in South Florida don’t go to Hardrock or The Swamp at all. unless you want a «jail-like» experience. First off I’d say this place and wet willies were the ONLY place I’d go with friends and family to enjoy a drink and talk. The swamp USED to have free entry but now the owner has decided to charge to keep«the ghettos» out(his statement) and beefed up his security like everywhere else in Hard rock. This has made Hardrock feel like an episode of «Locked up» that alone is now a turn off. One Saturday my friend went to the door to look for me and another friend and upon getting her phone to call us about the $ 20 cover she was told to get in and pay or get out. She was simply calling to inform us. Upon dialing, the bouncer lifted her up and carried her to a Hardrock security who just yelled at her to leave. She was completely distraught and embarrassed and it took us over 2 hours to make a report! In the end we left no names and a small card from an officer who could care less of the situation. We are still in shock of how this has happened and how it was handled. We are aiming to expose this situation. Hardrock and The Swamp need to reevaluate who they are employing and better enforce proper customer friendly procedures. We will not be returning…

Went here on a recent Saturday night for apps and warm up drinks early then after doing a little gambling inside came back for some night life. Our service was fast and friendly and the apps were surprisingly good for a bar. When we came back later the place was jumping. DJ cranking out some good music. Could have turned the volume down just a little bit as I could hear good when I went in and I left there deaf for sure. But I’m old now so don’t let my opinion ruin it for you young whipper-snappers!!!

Not going to bash this place completely, definitely have had good times here. Recently went on a saturday night, not as packed as i thought it would be but still seemed like a good time. Went with a group of friends, bought drinks when we came, relocated to a table next to the bar that was closer to the music. Bar tender states, «If you are not going to buy drinks from me peace the F*** out.» responded to this bartender by saying a friend bought us these drinks from another bar we will buy drinks when we are done with these, soon security comes and tells us to leave. Have never had this issue there before but I won’t let it happen again! Worst experience ever, always brought ppl here, won’t ever go again! No wonder they were empty on a saturday night! TERRIBLESERVICE!

I enjoy this place. It’s always been free to get in, so that makes me happy. They have free drinks for ladies before 12. SHIIIIIT. I’m there. The music is good. The drinks are good. Decent sized place. Heard the food was good, but I wouldn’t know. There are a good amount of older people who come out. Age range 25−35…but they do have a younger crowd as well. I guess it depends on the night. But I really do like this place :)

I visited the Swamp Bar outside of the Hardrock Casino this past Saturday. I didn’t get much there but went inside and sat at the bar area. By far the best place to get a drink during happy hour which is 4 or 5 to 8. Buy 1 get 1 free so it’s basically $ 3, and it was $ 6 for draft Corona. Cheaper than inside the casino. If you have time or want to take a break, head there. They had live music which was cool. Only thing I didn’t like there was only 1 bartender taking care of more she may could have handled. But I love there prices and it feels like a little secret of hardrock you need to know to sneak by and have a few beers at. Next time I visit I will be there for a bit.

Food: — Platter: wings, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, Mexican egg rolls. Worth getting if you have the munchies. 3.5÷5 — Fries: mediocre. 3⁄5 Service: The waitresses were quick and attentive. We sat outdoors. There were TVs which displayed sports. 4⁄5 Final thoughts: This place is super chill. It’s a great place for a group of friends to hang out.

This lil’ hidden gem totally surprised me! The Swamp offers sweet happy hour 2 for 1 deals, but wait, that doesn’t mean on a Saturday does it? Yes! even on Saturday! This was just the spot to grab a few drinks before going to a show at Hard Rock Live. I was also happy to find that they had all the NCAA games and even two SEC games on the TV outside too. It’s a little tucked away, but make a point to locate this spot once you are in the HArd Rock bar area. Once the word gets out, The Swamp will be kicking like the other spots around the casino too!

Had a juice and side of fries here, didn’t try the menu. Cool place though with lots of seating inside and seemed to be popular for large groups. Plenty of large TVs for viewing right from your seats.
