We had reservations but they were hardly needed. I was in a party of 15 needless to say we were the only ones there. In took 40 minutes to get our first drinks and over an hour for our food to come out.

Unfortunately I failed to check the reviews before coming to this place. As soon as we walked in, the hostess was off to the side talking with the other staff. She didn’t notice us until my husband said«Oh, I guess we seat ourselves». The other coworkers still acknowledged us before she did. Once we were seated, it took 10 minutes before anyone came over to talk to us– which was only because we asked who our waitress would be. A waitress came over and asked if we were ready for our server. She left, then she came back and said«well, I guess I’m your server». She was nice but after we received our food and drinks she never asked if everything was okay or if we needed any refills(the place was not packed at all, which should have been another clue to leave). Anyway besides the staff, the food was also not that great. The empanadas were good but the chicken tacos were horrible.

This restaurant is one of the hard Rock casino restaurants. It’s a big restaurant but they have horrible food. They say it’s authentic and there’s absolutely nothing authentic here. They didn’t have Mexican nachos that were on the menu. The margarita is lime juice with ice and salt, the food didn’t have any flavor. Too bad I can’t give no star.

The one star goes to the hostess who smiled and seated me immediately. But other than that, The food sucks, the service sucks, and the margaritas are awful. I was seated and it took about 10 – 15 minutes before my server came over to ask if I needed anything and take our drink order. Water arrived 10 minutes after that. Drinks shortly thereafter. The margaritas are all sugar and syrup. I would be shocked if any actual tequila was in the drinks. The food arrived. Empanadas were more like wontons and they had terrible flavor. The steak quesadilla was under seasoned but otherwise unremarkable. The salad with chicken: chicken was dryyyy and there was definitely chunks of mayo on the salad as «dressing». Shoddy service throughout. Not worth the money ATALL

Worst Mexican food a person could ever order. Taco Bell is better but they don’t care so stay away from this place they get the 1 star cause I can’t give negative stars

Sat at the bar and had fajitas. Enough for two people. They were flavorful. They had no happy hour special.

Great drinks at a price you would expect at the Hard Rock. Food was fair and served to us either cold or temped. Chicken tortilla soup didn’t have much taste. I would not recommend this place.

We were third table in our waitress’s section on a Sunday at 5pm. We waited 12 minutes for her to take drink order plus app of salsa and guacamole and chips. Waitress was nice — she had 4 tables come in behind us. Drinks came about 17 min later, guac etc about 12 – 15 min later– we placed our meal order at around 5:40– 6:25 came and we still had no food — so we had 6 drinks between 4 of us plus chips salsa and guac in 90 min– for $ 90– don’t get us started — we cancelled our dinner and went to catch Wanda Sykes– she was awesome.

My God this place was just horrible. I don’t even know where to start! First we ordered just two pepsi’s that tasted like they poured the remainder of the syrup in our cups, WAYTOOSWEET. We then ordered the empanada’s that looked like they came out of the freezer since it looked like there was still ICE on top of them! Those empanada’s were the absolute worst thing i’ve ever tasted. They put what seemed like old velveta and nacho cheese inside of it, which just ruined it completely. I ordered the chicken fajita’s which weren’t terrible, besides the fact that the sides that came with it it(lettuce, pico de Gallo, and cheese) where all warm as if they were just sitting there for 30 minutes. I went to pick up the cheese to put on my fajita and it was just straight GREESE! I had a horrible stomach ache for the rest of the night. Moving on to the service. The waiter was inattentive, took the menu’s and other things they normally keep ONTHETABLEDURINGTHEDAY off while we were eating there. My guess is they were closing and wanted to get out asap. That is so unprofessional it’s not even funny. Our food took 30 minutes to get to us when we were like the only 5 – 10 people that were in the place as it was. I should’ve took that as a sign to begin with. This place was the biggest waste of my money and i’ll never be going back.

Four of us went there last night for dinner. It took 25 minutes to get our margaritas at our table. We ordered a pitcher of Margaritas for $ 53.00 and barely got 3 poured out of it. The cost for one margarita is $ 14.00, which would only have cost us $ 42.00, so we paid an extra $ 11.00 for the pitcher and got less. We spoke to the waitress and she brought two extra so, that was good. Then it took 45 minutes to get our guacamole. We informed the waitress we had a show to attend by 7pm. We got there at 5pm. By 6:30 our dinner still hadn’t arrived!!? We told her not to bother because we wouldn’t make it to the show in time. She quickly brought the check and charged us without an apology or reason for everything. We asked to speak to the manger and he was resistant to comp the bill or anything. Finally he gave us 15% off, even though we never ate or was given a real reason as to what happened. The check with the 15% off came to $ 37.00 since we didn’t have any food, so he was willing to lose future business and bad reviews for $ 37.00? By apologizing/comp the bill we would have returned to actually try their food, since the salsa and Guac was great! Oh well, some people just don’t see the bigger picture. Also, last but not least the women’s bathroom had no soap or soap dispenser. the lady before me went to ask and they said they’ll try and find some. I really hope the workers are not using that same bathroom.

Giving for stars because it’s a little over priced, but you pay for location as it’s located right outside the casino. The pork fajitas were unbelievable! Crispy and tender on the inside. The other people at my table got the 3 tacos and they weren’t bad, however they didn’t finish them. The table side guac was also delicious. We all got the margarita flight which was a great way to catch a buzz without having to choose 1 flavor. A little surprised at the low rating, the food was really great. Just prepare to pay the casino premium.

Service was decent. Food was cold when it got to me and wasn’t that flavorful, especially for the prices they were charging. There are much better places around the hard rock

We went on a Friday and sat inside at the bar. There are NOHAPPYHOURSPECIALS. It was not busy, which might be a sign they need a happy hour menu. We ordered house margaritas with our Unilocal Check-in for $ 1. They didn’t have much alcohol in them, but I guess I shouldn’t expect much for $ 1. We ordered steak fajitas to share. They come with a choice of three sides. We got grilled veggies, charro beans(smoky flavored), and Mexican corn on the cob. The fajitas were very good and came with toppings: sour cream, cheese, and diced tomatoes. The Mexican street corn was very good and coated in cheese! Service was great. I would go again when I visit the hard rock casino again.

Our experience started out nice, but slowly dwindled down to a disappointing end. We were sat and waited 7 – 10 min to get greeted… A concert was soon to be letting out, so they were staffed and the restaurant was empty. We gave our waitress our entire order right away because we were starving… We started with the guacamole which was amazing!!! My boyfriend had ordered steak fajitas and I chose a chicken taco salad(which I also pointed to on the menu when she was taking my order). Quite a while later, our food finally came out and they had bright me chicken tacos. I sent it back and waited another 20 min for it to come out. She came back and admitted that she ordered the wrong entrée and apologized, which I appreciated. Thank goodness my boyfriend doesn’t like refrained beans so I had something to nibble on… After the long wait, I just asked for for my salad to be boxed up. No manager stopped by, few apologies, and still charged full price. I was in the industry for 15 years and expected at least a manager to stop by. You would think for the prices they charge, that they would take their guests a little more seriously. I won’t say that i will never go back, but at least there are other restaurants there to chose from.

As always I should have checked the reviews before I entered this place. Service: We sat at the bar and they were understaffed but the service was still decent. Appearance: The place was disgusting. Food: Horrible. Horrible Horrible. Both my wife and myself were sick to our stomachs for about 3 hours after the meal. I had the Carnitas which was flavorless and fried about 10 minutes too long. If this place did not have the Hard Rock foot traffic it would be closed. There is much more to say but the bottom line is this place is horrible.

We came in on a Monday night before a concert. The décor is great here(this is sarcasm). It reminds me of every Mexican stereotype that has ever been shown on the silver screen. There was a line at the hostess stand, and what seemed to be a rather full dining room. Turns out there is another area around the corner. We were seated immediately. It takes a turn for the worst here… it took a solid 12 minutes to be greeted by a server for a drink order. 12 minutes. I ordered a Don Julio and soda on the rocks, she ordered the prickly pear margarita. Hers was so sickly sweet that she couldn’t finish it. We also ordered guacamole, and two quesadillas. And we wait. And wait. And wait. I went back to the car to get my iPad. And wait. So, 22 minutes later the server brings us water. And wait. Chips and salsa arrive. another 8 minutes and drinks come… but mine is wrong. And wait. Server returns to make the guac at the table.(this I rather enjoyed.) The avocados must have been ripened in a window. There was very little avocado flavor. The peppers were not hot(I like hot). The texture was terrific, though. We are starving so we dive in. Then the quesadillas arrive. They’re small, but lots of beef in mine, and shrimp in hers. They are not amazing. They are rather plain… like Taco Bell… only not as good.(I don’t like Taco Bell, but at least they don’t charge $ 19 for their crappy quesadilla) My drink arrives. I hand him my credit card because it has now been 45 minutes, and we have to get to a concert… we didn’t even have a chance to order entrees. $ 81.00. EIGHTY-ONEDOLLARS!!! for guacamole, two quesadillas, and two drinks. I will not be back.

The ONLY reason we stopped here was because we wanted a quick bite after the Billy Idol show, and to let the traffic die down before we attempted to leave the parking lot. Bad idea! Slow service and extremely overpriced food that did not taste good… well, I don’t even know what to say. The ONLY reason this does not get 1 star is because the place is clean, and the ambiance was decent. The food tasted as if it had been frozen, and then heated up. My husband ordered shrimp tacos for $ 19. Yes, $ 19! They were the SMALLEST shrimp tacos we’ve ever seen, and he orders them wherever we go. I’m still in shock over the price and the extremely small portions. They were seriously appetizer sized. Any place that charges $ 3 for chips and salsa has lost my business. That should be complimentary with our meals. I’d be hard pressed to ever try to this place again.

Eric the GM& Katherine the bartender were great! It’s the 3rd year we hold our company happy hour at Tequila Ranch and this is the first time it’s a complete success. The setup was perfect, the drinks were strong, and the appetizers were delicious. We had chicken quesadillas, chicken and cheese empanadas, chicken flautas, ceviche, and chips with salsa and guacamole. By far the best empanadas and salsa I’ve ever had. An event of dread turned into a fun happy hour with coworker’s.

This place is no Bueno, the food was no Bueno and the drinks were no Bueno. I came here with some family to enjoy the evening, somewhere nice where we could enjoy some good food and drinks but we got the total opposite. The portions was super small and super expensive, I understand that they are located inside the casino and most likely have high rent to pay but damn, my entire experience was a fail. I ordered a mango daiquiri and the drink was weak and expensive. I ordered some guacamole, which is made fresh to order at table side, I requested no jalapeño or spice, but still got jalapeño in my Guac. I hate to complain but the waiter was really slow, I mean special Ed slow. The steak tacos I ordered were good but small and only 3 tacos for $ 15. I felt robbed and left hungry. The best part of my experience was my Unilocal Check in offer which gives you a house margarita for $ 1, super delicious Margarita, probably the best I’ve had in a while. The food is not terrible, but their service and dining experience was.
