Want to know where to shop at Las Olas? Tommy Bahama! I love this store! My wife and I moved here almost a year ago and we’ve been shopping here since we moved here. All the sales associates are great but you must ask for Michelle… She is a sweetheart and always very helpful! We met her when we first moved here and she always has a smile on her face and just loves helping people when they come in to store. My wife and I will stop in just to say hello if we’re dining out in the area. If you love Tommy Bahama, go by and see Michelle and tell her Hank says hello!

My husband and I are in Ft Lauderdale on our honeymoon. We wandered into the store to browse a bit. We were approached by a snooty clerk who asked if we needed anything. My husband jokingly asked if there was a 50% off section. The snooty clerk looked down his nose at us and said no. We left, and he chased us out to the sidewalk before getting back on his iPhone to say«There are some cheap stores down that way.» Very presumptuous. Just because I’m not waving $ 100 bills in his face and my husband made a joke doesn’t mean I couldn’t afford to shop there, or that I might not be back another time. I sure as hell won’t be back now, though.

I don’t know what it is that keeps drawing me back. Is it the smell of citrus and coconut? Is it the Beach Business wear that the sell? Is it the fact that I can find items that fit me on clearance since I am relatively small compared to the average Tommy Bahama shopper? I would have to say yes to all three of these questions. I love the fact that I can purchase light and airy clothing that is perceived to be somewhat dressy and at fairly reasonable prices. The associates are always pleasant and the décor is always bright. I love the Las Olas location since I can walk to any of the other stores and restaurants that line the area. Inevitably, though, I usually only purchase things at Tommy Bahama.
