First time visit last night. Our server Brian knew the menu and wine list inside and out. Refreshing to see that. Octopus was cooked just right, tender and tasty. The stuffed veal chop was the best I can remember. Nice quiet and romantic place in the heart of hectic las olas.

Food was not very good and considering their prices should have been amazing!!! I had the risotto, $ 28 and the worst I’ve ever had! The ambiance was nice but that’s it! The waiter also brought us someone else’s food oops… Your paying for the ambiance I suppose but not worth it to me!

FOODPOISONING! My husband and I ate at this restaurant last night and are disappointed. For an appetizer we ate their clams casino, for entrees we had shrimp carbonara and a Seabass with clams, mussels, shrimp in a red sauce. We both left the restaurant and within the hour were both very ill. We spent our last night of our vacation in our hotel room getting sick. Not to mention the Seabass was drowning in thick marinara sauce which ruined the dish, I barely ate the fish and the shrimp was hard and over cooked. My husband also noticed that he had to basically walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom which is weird. I will definitely not be going back and am very upset we chose this place to eat as it ruined our last night of vacation which happened to be for my birthday.

Five of us for dinner last night. While the service was a little lacking… the food was outstanding — making up for the slow service. Really outstanding. From the Gallic bread at the very start the taste and quality of the dishes was pretty awesome. We enjoyed… A couple appetizers then Gnocchi Short ribs Veal shank special Tagliatelle with sausage and mushrooms Too bad this joint is not in Los Angeles. It would be our go to place.

Horrific. All 4 entrays were wharehouse prepared. Service was ok at best. I should have known better when the restaurant was only 20% full compared to all the other less Olas restaurants that were full. If i could give a .5 grade i would consider it.

This place is beyond amazing! They have a beautiful courtyard by a fireplace to sit and great, great food! My children and I loved our pizza, it was just like Napoli, Italy! I ordered the truffle pizza– strongly recommend this, my son ordered the Margherita pizza and my daughter ordered the New York style pizza. Tasted authentic and fresh. My wife loved her zuppa di peschi. The staff is so kind and friendly here and very attentive. My daughter even made him laugh Shout out to Bobby the waiter! Don’t hesitate.

Great meal, nice atmosphere, superior service. Avoid the super trendy Louie restaurant down the block if you want to have a conversation. The food at Tuscan Grill was super fresh and delicious — from the appetizer to the salad to the main course. We also received complimentary Limoncello. Our service was perfect(Brian) and we enjoyed every bite. Give it a try!

Great food! We seated at the bar and thr bartender is awesome! We went here for dinner on a sunday night. My husband had the Pollo Pailard(?) – a grilled chicken breast and it was really good. Very tasty. I had the Beef shortribs with Rissoto. The shortribs were so tender and sauce was great. Rissotto was delicious. They also give you a warm garlic parmesan bread which is heaven! I wish we can come back but we just visited Fort lauderdale. I want to come back and try the octopus appetizer.

The server Bobby was excellent, lots of Professionalism and a wonderful personality. The rabbe and superb sausage were 5 star. The steak was about a four. Interesting singer singing some jazz(Dave Brubeck). I’d come back.

No question that this is one of the best meals I’ve had this year. It wasn’t cheap, it wasn’t fru-fru foodie, and it wasn’t worthy of being called«fine dining». It was, however, great Italian food(not American red-sauce style) like they do in Italy. Sitting in the outdoor area on a beautiful evening certainly helps the mood and our server Valentino was top notch. He had spot on recommendations and catered a bit to someone in my party for their birthday which made the evening even better. The wine list is balanced between Italy and the US and is not extensive but has some interesting offerings. Was able to score a nice bottle of Fiano de Avellina for an acceptable price point. But really the food is the thing. We had charred polpito(octopus) and a truffle dressed carpaccio and both were so memorable that either alone would be reason enough for me to jump a flight down here again just to eat those. The homemade gnocchi was flawless and the long bone tomahawk ribeye was really one of the best steaks I’ve ever taken down and that is saying something. It was a special tonight but I would recommend it if you run across it here in the future. Homemade tiramisu was great and the house made limoncello was excellent in a mind blowing sort of way. I’m afraid I drank so much of it that I’m going blind. Eating here, however, was worth it!

My first visit to the Tuscan Grill over the Valentine’s Day weekend. This quaint restaurant faces Las Olas Blvd(amongst a slew of other restaurants). I originally had plans on dining across the street but they were just completely full, and rowdy. I stumbled upon Tuscan Grill — seemed intimate and cozy. We were seated in the patio area of the restaurant facing the street. I ordered the Spinach Ravioli special. Loved it! Our waiter Michael was great! Friendly and attentive. The Tuscan Grill is a great restaurant and excellent atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the Tuscan Grill to others in the area.

The garlic bread alone is worth it. Seriously. The new was amazing, ate the angel hair pasta with chicken on top. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the price. 24 bucks for angel hair pasta, sauce, and chicken.

This restaurant was amazing! A GREAT find… Our first night in town and we were not dressed up. Dressed«off the plane» and very casual. We were welcomed and made to feel at home! Excellent and amazing food and service! We ate at the bar… and will DEFINITELY go there again !!! FIVESTARS for sure!!!

Ice cold Bombay Martinis to start. Love the garlic bread and olives. Brian, our fab waiter shared the list of additions and we went with that. Satchel pasta with veal and a chicken stock and more for me. Stuffed veal chop that melted in our mouth for Gary. Love the restaurant, the food & service. Creative chef.

I was craving some Italian food, and this place was right by where I parked. It’s a small venue, and I was alone and sat at the bar. The bartender was nice and attentive. The food don’t blow me away, but it was let mediocre either. I had something generic, chicken parm, but it was good. I’d come back.

The biggest Trick on Las Olas; this place used to be good when Rino was in the kitchen(It used to be Rino’s Tuscan Grill); then it was mediocre when Luigi was in the kitchen(Luigi of Luigi’s pizza); now they’ve raised their prices so high that you can’t even go in to try it. No word on WHY we should pay 40% more. They rent out the lower area of Asia Bay, and they try to sell themselves as «waterfront», but I don’t think that the waterfront seating is for their restaurant. The main restaurant is a storefront with a small patio on Las Olas Blvd. They’re also notorious for giving you smaller portions on their«Fixed Price» menus; the menu is more money for them and not more value for you. Last time I was going to go in there was a creepy italian dude on the patio staring down people on the sidewalk. I decided to go elsewhere.

I went on a weeknight for the summer $ 29.993 course meal promotion. We were seated immediately because it wasn’t busy on the Wednesday night we went. The service was excellent. It has a classy ambiance with nice background music. You can sit inside or outside. We chose inside due to the heat. They start you off with crispy warm bread along with bruschetta and olives. Also the bread is on top of olive oil and minced garlic. It is addicting and they will bring you more if you ask. They get daily bread deliveries because I see it when I walk by every morning sitting on the front patio. I started with the caprese salad. It was a large slab of mozzarella with a basil leaf. Also a large ripe tomato was in the stack. Sweet balsamic vinegar was drizzled over the plate. Salt and pepper were sprinkled on top. It was yummy and a good size for one person. I chose the short beef rib on top of risotto. The risotto could have used more cheese to it. It wasn’t that flavorful. The short rib was covered in a delicious gravy. It was a normal size portion for one person. I finished it all. The meal finished with a small slice of tiramisu. Perfect size for one person. It had great flavor and was moist. My friend had the rigatoni ala vodka with peas. It was good, but I wouldn’t want to eat the whole thing… would get bored of the flavor. Throughout the evening, our waiter refilled our waters without having to ask. Sometimes when you order the promo meal, they don’t give you good service… NOT at this place. Service was GREAT! There is nearby metered street parking or you can park in the parking garage on the backside of the building and pay a meter. Overall, a great experience and I will be back to try other items on the regular menu.

While Las Olas may seem like a loud, boisterous place, I’ll let you in on a little secret: there’s actually a classy, romantic, dimly lit Italian restaurant that is a great place to go take a date! The music is not too loud, they play jazzy tunes or Sinatra, and the service is stellar. You will feel like a pampered celebrity here! Because of all these reasons, your date will think you’re spending hundreds of dollars, and be very appreciative, even though each entrée is mid-priced, at about $ 15-$ 20, on average. The food itself is pretty tasty. First came the complimentary warm bread and Bruschetta, along with some spicy green olives. I ordered a Marsala Veal Picatta, and my friend got a Margarita pizza. While I loved my food, the portion size, and the rich sauce, my friend’s only complaint with his pizza was that the crust was not crispy enough. He did enjoy the flavor and quality of the ingredients, though. We shared a bottle of Tuscan wine that our waiter recommended, and finished the whole thing(I don’t usually drink wine, so I thought I’d mention that, to attest as to its pleasant flavor). For dessert, we ordered the Tiramisu, which was recommended by our waiter. Now, I am not a coffee drinker so usually I will decline Tiramisu, despite my sweet tooth, but this moist Tiramisu was not being overpowered by the flavor of coffee, it was very subtle, so I enjoyed it. There’s no dress code per se – we came with jeans and biker jackets(we rode over to Las Olas from Sunny Isles, on motorcycle), but I would leave the shorts and flip flops at home, if you can.

My wife and I have been to this local Las Olas eatery a few times now. Because it’s so close and we love Italian, it could be a regular stop for us but they will have to be a bit more consistent. The garlic bread, tomato based bruschetta, and olives that are brought to the table are memorable and are worthy of the first star and a half. The waiter service brings another star to the party. In our first three visits here both of these items are consistently great! The scampi my wife loved the first two times in, has ranged from great to the third time in blah blah blah. My pasta has consistent been overlooked. I’m sure they par cook the pasta’s and heat it again before serving because even when I order linguini(a bit harder to overcook) it was overcooked. I did ask for Al Dente pasta each time, and when I sent it back, it was replaced with the same. I tried the special veal chop Parmesan that was recommended by our server on our last visit and although tender, it was tasteless. I could tell it was prepared beautifully but there was no salt or pepper on the veal or in the breading. Their sauce is also very bland and the dish smelled of nothing? I want something put in front of me with a smell that makes me want to eat! When my server asked if I wanted to take home my barely touched veal, I told him that it was not worthy of taking home because it had no flavor! I watched him speak to the manager about it but all that happened was I was offered a Limoncello that I declined. He told me some folks had complained of too much seasoning so they cut back? Really? At an Italian Restaurant? One that serves garlic, garlic, garlic bread at every table? Unfortunately, doing nothing to get me back when I don’t eat my $ 49 entrée, will not get me to this local eatery that’s almost in my back yard! bthere are too many other choices in the area including a nice little Greek place next door that knows how to season ethnic food. If and when I do go back, it will be for the garlic bread, olives and bruschetta. I may try a grilled item? A shame I can’t even get Al Dente pasta? I may even try the scampi my wife liked two out of three tries, but if the next time is no better, well, we know how that goes!
