I was visiting my parents(I am originally from FTL) and was so excited to see that Yello! had recently opened around the corner from their house. The employees and instructor were so sweet and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable. I was able to adjust some of the«moves» to fit my post-baby body and got a really great workout! Thank you Yello! for helping this new mama get her confidence back! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get an awesome workout!

This is a great dance studio that offers drop in classes for small children, including hip hop, ballet, and yoga. The classes are fun, reasonably priced, and gives parents flexibility to join when we can.

It was my first time and I tried the belly dancing class with Saffire. Her body was made for this art, she makes it seem so easy but that’s the sign of an expert. I definitely felt like I was burning calories. I’ve become slightly uncoordinated as I’ve gotten older so I had a little bit of a difficult time keeping up with my hips going left and right while my upper body was going up and down. She’s pretty good at helping you get coordinated. Looking forward to trying the other dance classes when my schedule allows. The place is conveniently located. The parking is free and you can park behind the building. You can also exit out the back when you’re done if you leave late. They have kid classes too. The place is clean and contemporary, with a happy colorful vibe. Give it a try for something fun to do.

New studio, dance floor was super clean(hate it when they are dirty and you’re on the floor rolling around), everyone was super friendly, tons of free parking in back, went to jazz funk class, enjoyed it, highly recommended, will be back to try hip hop too

I decided that I wanted to get back into dancing after a nearly 20 year hiatus. I heard about this place from my pilates instructor and decided to check it out. Its a very well maintained studio on commercial boulevard. The space is light and welcoming. There are at least two studios(might be a 3rd in the back but I haven’t been back there). On my first visit, I stopped by just to get information about the studio and their offerings. I arrived about 10 minutes after a yoga class was scheduled to start. However, no one was there. The instructor offered to start the yoga class late for me. After yoga I got information about the dance classes and bought a pack of yoga classes and dance classes(the packs do not expire!) On my second visit I went to hip hop. I was the only person in the class. It was taught by a woman who is currently getting her degree in dancing. She said she primarily does ballet, so the hip hop class is a fun outlet for her. We started with some stretching and then some cardio. Then we learned a short routine. It was fun and creative. I will definitely go back for hip hop! On my third visit I went to ballet(the real reason I found this studio in the first place). The ballet Cass was taught by the same instructor. She was awesome. She used very traditional music(took me back to my ballet lessons from my childhood). We progressed quickly and she had some great tips and feedback. Also, she was very positive, which was a nice change from the meaner ballet teachers. It really was a great workout and she really pushed us. There was only one other girl in the class with me. In fact, I have yet to take a class with anyone else other than the ballet class. Its great, because the dance classes are only $ 10 if you buy a package. So it’s the cheapest private lesson you could ever want! I will definitely keep frequenting this place. As long as they can afford to stay open…

What a dream come true! I grow up taking dance lesson and have missed it greatly. I am not a DANCER, I haven’t danced in 15+ years. However, i took a jazz class yesterday and it was awesome. The instructor took her time showing me each step and by the end some of those old moves i use to know where shining through. The studio is brand new and trendy. All staff was extremely nice. I will be going back very soon!(and i am super sore today) GREAT workout!

Yello is currently a small space with big dreams.(The w is silent. And invisible.) They currently offer a variety of dance and yoga classes but will soon incorporate both raw and cooked plant-based foods as well as an art gallery and performance space. To call me uncoordinated is an understatement. I generally have control over my limbs, just not over all of them at the same time. I recently took a belly dance class here led by SaFire and was surprised at a) how much I sweat b) how much of a workout it was and c) that I didn’t fall once.(Although admittedly some of my moves were more«seizure» than«sexy.») It was fun & fast-paced but the instructor will break things down or give you one-on-one help if you’re struggling a bit. Basically what I’m trying to say is that if I can do it, anyone can! BOTTOMLINE: Get in on the ground floor of this eclectic establishment as it continues to grow!
