Staff is brash and rude and not so smart. The prices are different on the menu from the ones they actually charge. It is overpriced and the food not good. It is ugly. I live very nearby and I will never eat here again. Half the items are not listed on the menu. Print new menus with correct pricing, and all the items they serve. Why bother. Why bother eating here? The staff was rude both times I’ve been here. Food is subpar and truly bad when you get it delivered. I’ve learned my lesson. I live right around the corner but I’ll never eat here again

Do yourself a favor and DONOT patronize this establishment — my girlfriends and I have been there many times(we meet once a month and we frequent Armando’s) last night we were told the coupon I purchased would not be honored — to the credit of our waitress, she called the owner Dawn and she refused to honor it — REALLY??? There was no expiration date so I am not sure what her problem was but she lost 6 patrons — yes 6 of us attend these monthly get togethers!!! AND she gets a bad review, which is a shame because the staff and food is good.

We stopped in after the Southside Johnny show across the street at the Community Center. We shared the Tri-Color Salad. The radicchio was shredded(I guess to extend it and make it look like there was more there than there actually was). There was barely any endive(I had one leaf) so it was mostly an arugula salad for $ 8. We ordered the thin crust vegetarian pizza. It was okay. The pizza was approximately 12″ in diameter and the crust was thin and crispy. The menu said it cost $ 15. We were charged $ 18. When I complained I was told there were new owners and the prices had not been updated on the menu. The website says it is another branch of an Armando’s in River Vale so I did not think that was an acceptable explanation. The service was excellent.

Nice place nestled in a mall on 15 the street. Near the Fort Lee Police, and the Community Center. BYOB They sell pizza by the slice. Large slices!!! Regular menu, with great entrees. Street parking.

This place is a hidden gem and the best italian food in fort lee/cliffside park. It has the best pepperoni pizza of any pizzaria I’ve ever had and their plain is great too. Their lasagna is the best I’ve ever had. Their chicken parm is the best topping competitors in this area as well. I have yet to try their penne vodka. I would give this place a try if you are looking around

Used to pass by Armando’s when it was located by the GW Bridge. Still in Fort Lee but not close enough to the bridge or major highways for folks with no sense of direction to find it. And even when it was by the bridge, I didn’t bother to try it because… well, Fort Lee, New Jersey… I’m from the Bronx… Italian places for the most part, suck on this side of the bridge with scant exceptions. So why now? Ahh, the power of gift cards to ease my anxiety of unknown Northern NJ Italian eateries! THEGOOD: Armando and his staff are very welcoming and so are the entrees, from prices to portion and flavor. I had a generous helping of salmon in vodka sauce over a bed of linguini that was on the creamy/cheesy side, which is how I dig my vodka sauce. My lady had what appeared to be a mundane chicken florentine in a watery-looking marsala sauce until she took her first bite… and swore it was one of the best Italian dishes she had in Jersey to date. Calamari appetizer was pleasantly above-average. Always great when a place keeps refilling their bread baskets to no avail… especially when each refill is fresher than the last and served with a simple yet addictive basil and garlic olive oil for dipping. THE«HUH, WHAT?»: BYOB should be taken literally; Armando’s does not serve any hard or soft drinks outside of soda. As a rule, I cannot stomach drinking plain water with dinner. And as I left soda forever in the past, I ramped up my carbonated water intake tenfold. So when I asked for seltzer, the kind waitress tried to let me down easy by suggesting 7UP to which I declined and went for the unthinkable water. While it’s funny to imagine, it’s just ridiculous that I’d have to bring a couple of cans of Schweppes or Canada Dry seltzer to fully enjoy my next dinner there. Unbelievable, I know. But bubbly water is not expensive enough to not have on fountain tap or by the bottle or can. This might sound petty to most, so take this as desired as I still gave this place 4 stars. FINALTHOUGHTSANDWHATYOUSHOULDDO: I’m not sure if Armando is heading into the restaurant sunset, as he’s been serving up good food for over 40 years. Decent places are always sold or shut down as soon as I find them. We were the only ones there on a Wednesday evening, save for a few folks coming in for takeout orders and that concerns me. Relocating to a spot deeper in Fort Lee, a few blocks in from an already nondescript thoroughfare won’t do much, I fear. So it’ll be interesting to see how long Armando’s sticks around. Only dedicated foodies with good mapping apps will care enough to act on my review. Hopefully they do and will tell casual diners that Armando’s is worth the extra turns… that’s IF you can get past the unofficial BYOS(bring your own seltzer) policy.

My boyfriend and I love their thin crust pizza. We are hooked. Also their antipasta salad is so fresh and Delish. We have also ordered their caprese salad on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. We have also ordered their stuff clams… oh my. Service is great as well. Delivery guy always nice and pizza always arrives hot in minutes.

Tried Armando’s for the first time this past Friday night. Guy was very pleasant on the phone and told us we would receive our delivery within a half hour. Pizza was delivered in 20 minutes by a pleasant delivery man and the pizza was pipping hot. We also ordered the antipasto salad to split. The salad was one of the the best. They did not throw chunks of Italian meat in the salad. They actually made delicate pin wheels of salami and provolone with fresh tomatoes. We requested balsamic dressing which was very good. The sauce is one of the best in town. We look forward to ordering from Armando’s again.

We ordered the chicken parm hero and penne vodka pasta for the first time, and I don’t think I would ever again unless I’m in a rush(right by my house). Both were extremely bland. Portions were pretty good, but I’ve had better. Also, make sure to ask for utensils AND napkins if you need it because they don’t give it out unless you ask. How cheap!

I love their thin pizza! When I could eat gluten, I ordered it a couple of times. The reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars because it’s slightly pricey for delivery. Today, I ordered grilled chicken parmigiana because I’m now gluten sensitive. They were more than willing to make it for me without the breading. I also asked for sauteed vegetables on the side instead of the pasta. They were very accommodating. The chicken parm was gooood!!! The salad was ok… I didn’t care for their House Dressing, it was kind of creamy. I will definitely order again when I’m in the mood for chicken parm.
