Burger King

The commercial got me. I saw a deal for 10 nuggets for $ 1.50 on tv. So I decided to get this and fries. This burger king is the closest one in the area of fort lee so I have no other option. They are opened late till 12am. So I place the order and pay. Food was given to me in less than 20 seconds. I brought the food home and shared it with my wife.
Guess what happens to both of us after about 30 minutes of finishing the food. We both had bothering stomach and then starts to hurt. It’s been hours now and still bothering me.
I’m just wondering was the food sitting out and got bacteria? I have no idea but no one wants this feeling.
I would’ve given a 1 star but the employee was just too nice so a 2?

This Burger King walking distance from my home of 20 years, so I feel like I’ve seen it go through a lot– I even played in the ball pit as a kid! Honestly I don’t frequent fast food joints often, but I do like this place due to the convenience and the relatively quiet ambiance. Maybe it’s because I tend to either go here or to NYC for fast food, but I find this place very spacious and clean.
I don’t expect amazing, hands on service from burger king, of course, but the employees do seem more friendly than I’ve experienced at other joints… probably because of the relaxed, low pressure atmosphere. There was one incidence when I asked the cashier about whether the French fries were cooked with animal fats (my mother is a vegetarian) and received a rude non-​answer. That turned me off slightly, but again, I don’t expect amazing service and this BK location still beats all others even including this encounter.

Easily the worst food and service of any fast food restaurant I have ever been too. The staff spend all their time before, during and after you order and get your food talking to each other about nonsense.
They distract each other to the point mistakes are made at every step. They ‘forget’ to give you your change = because they are distracted. They don’t give you your cup so you can get your drink while they fill rest of the order = because they are distracted. Special instructions get ignored = because they are distracted. You ask for sweet n sour you get bbq suace = because they are distracted. Cooks leave out ingredients = because they are distracted.
They are simply not busy enough to excuse these mistakes. In fact, it’s the sparse number of customers that lead to the lack of focus I am certain. Staff is bored and not trained well to know that when a customer comes in, the focus should snap to that customer until they are satisfied.
When you do get your food, it will be ice cold, rush cooked so it is practically raw, sloppily put together and not fresh tasting.
The place is clean enough, the lot is clean and it is not a hangout for teens w cars but they could do a better job clearing snow from their sidewalk. They have a lot of sidewalk and it is never cleared timely/​thoroughly.

For the times we’ve gone there if you order a Grilled Chicken, Guess what you get fried, Evidently the workers there making the food they seem to have a problem with fried equals fried, grilled equals fried. The people working there just don’t care !! You get pissed I know I do, You YOU SPEND MONEY ON FOOD AND YOU CAN’T GET WHAT YOU WANT, BUT WHAT THEY GIVE YOU ! & BERGER KING CORP, DOSEN’T HAVE A # THAT WORKS TO REACH THEM !

Burger King is Burger King. I think it would be tough to say this location tastes better than another. However, the reason why I am writing this review is because of the consistent friendly service. A lot of times at burger franchises, I feel like I am bothering employees by placing an order, to the point where I just don’t even expect friendly service. However, I don’t recall a single occasion when this particular location wasn’t friendly – and I’ve been there quite often!

This Burger King is the best I have ever been too. I do not go there so often, however whenever I do it is a positive experience. Unlike other BK restaurants, this one is very sanitary and clean, whereas most BK restaurants tend to be dirty and messy. This BK also is not very crowded from what I have noticed. It is worth stopping by as I often in the Fort Lee area either grocery shopping or spending a day with my son. The staff is always friendly and willing to ensure my order is exactly what I wanted. I will be returning there for some more delicious burgers and fries.
