When it comes to Chinese Take-​Out food, most of them taste the same to me. The only time it doesn’t is if it’s terrible or incredible.
The reason I gave this place 4 stars is because the people that work there are really awesome. They are very friendly and provide great service.
I’ve lived in Fort Lee for most of my life and I’m definitely a regular at Jade House.
Again, the food isn’t anything special or different than any typical Take-​Out place. But due to the service I would recommend it.

Just had Jade House again recently, and I was extremely disappointed. The meat was old and rubbery, and don’t taste very good. The tofu dish I ordered tasted quite sour for some reason.

Just found a roach leg in our left overs. Pretty horrific. Which sucks because we were about to make this our new go-​to Chinese place. Ah well, back to King Hong. y

Quick, good food. Have been going here for years. Always good, never had a problem with an order. Love the steamed diet menu too! Shimp dishes are great! Price is really good too. A good choice for American Chinese food. Staff is always friendly. And the family always enjoys the food. They deliver too!

I have been a customer of this place for years… Back when it was called Oversea. I’m talking about 9 years or so…
anyway, I order all the time from them and I’d say I spend over 100.00 a month on this place. I placed an order today, and when it arrived, I signed for it (because I put it on my charge card) and added a 2 dollar tip. The douchebag delivery guy then proceeded to tell me that he is losing money on my business! I called and complained to the owner, who told me he would credit my card back to the food (because I demanded) — I would and will never order again from there. I would suggest a different place. thanks for reading.

If you’re looking for something quick and delicious in Fort Lee, then this is the place to go. Not a good place for «foodies» but it does the trick if you’re looking for good bang for your buck.

Tried this place for the first and last time. The highlight was the eggroll, and was the only item I would order again if I were to try the place again. Hot&sour soup was just okay. Mongolian beef was so-​so. Chicken w/​garlic sauce had a strange flavor with not even a hint of garlic.
Nice sized portions and cheap, but this place isn’t even worth free.

If you are looking for consistent American Chinese takeout cooked in a clean kitchen and delivered in a rapid manner, than there really is no other choice in Fort Lee/​Cliffside Park. Measured against the local competition (comprised of Fujianese AC grease pits that even the most corrupt PRC official couldn’t be bribed to approve), you could give this five stars. Measured against American Chinese takeout joints in the tri state area, it gets three. Dependable, tasty, and gets the job done, but not worth driving to if you don’t live in the area.

This place has some good food (its not the best chinese) and is where I usually order my takeout chinese food. They have great lunch specials, I usually get the sesame chicken. They have ample parking for take out because it is by the rite aid and the community center. They have some chairs and tables you could sit inside but I rarely see anyone do it. I usually get delivery but sometimes they take awhile during the peak hours because they have so many orders.

This small CLEAN Chinese spot is just a block away from ymca where the old shop right was many years ago…
Went in ordered food for my family got sesame chicken shredded beef and two shrimp dishes and a bunch of side orders.
The lady behind the counter was awesome! first time coming to a Chinese restaurant and having an actual conversation about there food. Food was great and cheap our total came out to $ 48 for about 7 hungry people!

This place is a lot better since it reopened. Idk if it’s the same owners but before it closed down the food was way below par. The Beef and Broccoli is so good it’s pretty ridiculous. They have been offering discounts since they reopened and the service is pretty good. It is annoying to dine in with all the neighborhood kids being loud.
