Ordered chicken and broccoli along with chicken wings and fried rice. The food was not greasy at all and had great flavors. The delivery was super quick as well. Definitely my go to place for takeouts.

This is our go-to restaurant for takeout Chinese. It’s a very good version of the usual hole-in-the-wall place that every neighborhood used to have. We order the house special soup, the ribs, the tofu with broccoli, the moo shu pork(skip the pancakes), different kinds of chow fun, Singapore rice noodles, chicken dishes, pork dishes. Generally, the vegetables, noodles, chicken, and pork dishes are good. We skip the beef and the seafood dishes – they’re more expensive and not worth the extra cost. Stick with basics and you’ll like King Hong, too! I almost forgot the best thing about King Hong! They have a fantastic, inexpensive lunch menu, and it’s available till 3:30 Monday to Saturday. Check it out!

I was anxious to try this place due to high ratings, but man was I disappointed. I’m all for no MSG, but chef, have you heard of SALT or SOYSAUCE? I got 3 dishes – vegetable lo mein, eggplant with shrimp in garlic sauce, and Lake Tung Ting shrimp. ALL of them had no taste whatsoever! I hate wasting food(and my hard earned money), but all of the dishes weren’t edible and ended up in the trash can. Seriously, how can you mess up Chinese food — -King Hong’s the winner, here.

I can’t imagine my life without King Hong, it saves my life while I really don’t want to cook or when i have to work OT but still have to feed my husband. The lady who takes the order is such a sweetheart, she is always pleasant to take the order from you and always greets you with the genuine smile, I really like her! Sometimes her daughter helped at restaurant to take orders and the little girl might not be as quick as her mom, please be patient because they are really really nice people! My favorite dish — 1. Chicken noodle soup — the broth is so light but flavorful, they will give you generous amount of noodle and chicken. Sometimes I only eat this for dinner. 2. Chicken with mixed veggie: Unlike other chinese restaurant only put very few vegetables, they put all sorts of mixed veggies(broccoli, baby corns, bamboo shoot, mushroom… and more!) and they make it light and not oily at all. I always ask they to make it in «curry sauce» and even it was not on the menu, they will always accommodate my request!

Tried King Hong since we were looking for a new delivery place–(our favorite Petit Soo Chow doesn’t deliver) Delivery took an hour and 20 mins. Horrible when you have hungry kids asking every 5 minutes where the food is. After 45 mins I called a few times only to have them assuring me everytime that he was 5 minutes away. When I asked the delivery guy if this how long it usually takes he just laughed which I thought was kind of rude. Food was ok. Typical chinese take out food. Never ordering from there again.

Stopped by after dinner to get a quick bite and that’s exactly what I got. I ordered the pork with broccoli and it was ready in, no joke, five minutes. In and out which is exactly what a chinese takeout place should be

Average cuisine. I ordered the wonton soup and chicken in garlic sauce. Both did taste freshly made but were underwhelming in flavor. Service was prompt with delivery in about 30 minutes from the time I placed the call. I might try this place again simply because there are a lack of good Chinese food restaurants in the area.

Since this place re-opened a while ago, it’s improved immensely. Where do I start? Friendly, coherent service at front desk and phone. Spareribs – moist, slightly blackened, meaty. I add a little hot sesame oil and mustard to offset the candy sweet basting sauce. Dishes like szechuan beef have fresh, large vegetables – broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, snow peas. Good portions. Sauces are typically not too gummy or overpowering. I enjoyed their vegetable egg foo young. In short, nothing fancy, overall very reliable quality pick up and delivery in Fort Lee.

Giving this place 4 stars because 5 would be overenthusiastic for a take-out Chinese place, but since this place doesn’t serve greasy garbage, I thought I’d be generous. This has become my go-to spot when I’m craving take-out. I like: singapore mei fun(I prefer veg only, it has too many meats) and sesame chicken best. Definitely my dishes of choice and I rarely stray. Skip: sauteed string beans. They were cooked TODEATH and had no flavor. C’mon King Hong, step ya string bean game up.

Very nice Chinese to go place. Foods are not like Chinese authentic style but much better than typical Chinese to go places. I was surprised the foods are really fresh and delicious. When I feel like Chinese to go this is the one I always pick around this area. They e even accept credit card.

Criteria: 1) Quality — 6.5÷10 2) Price — 8.5÷10 3) Visual appearance — 7.5÷10 4) Taste — 8⁄10 5) Wow Factor(yes or no) — no 6) Consistency — 8⁄10 7) Fresh ingredients — 3⁄10 I went here 3 times in a week, to test consistency, quality, taste, and wow factors. First lunch order, was good. Second lunch order, was good. Third lunch order, The boneless spare ribs had at least 40% fat. In which I had to throw roughly half in the garbage. Then I ordered lobster lo mein, This was very interesting. I order lobster lo mein, and no where in the menu did it state that it had shrimps in them. Not only that, I recognized that this establishment does not sell out lobster/shirmp very often, as I saw the lobster and shrimp looked like it was stored in the freezer for at LEAST3WEEKS. It was brown, no part of the lobster/shrimp was white, this indicated that it was past expiration date. Turns out, this place will by any means use old and expired dated food than to throw it away and prevent a lawsuit. Jeez… the lobster and shrimp looked more brown and darker than Soy sauce! If this event didn’t occur, I would have rated this place a minimum of 9÷10… but because of this insane practise, I can only rate it 5⁄10 overall. I understand if people don’t buy lobster/shrimp often enough to buy and sell them fresh, but at least stride for a good reputable food to sell. There was no flavor in the lobster/shrimp, you could pour 100g of MSG and still wouldn’t produce any flavor. This lobster and shrimp was so bland, water had more flavor than this. The lo mein was good, the veggies were okay, quite fair(not very fresh, but about 4 – 5 days old). I chose not to buy drinks, because there is no sales price for drinks… who knows how much they cost. TL;DR — If you recognize that your food isn’t top quality ingredients, that means this place doesn’t get orders of that ingredient often, thus only go for food items that are popular. Most likely, they will cook rotten/expired ingredients if you order them. If you get lucky with boneless spare ribs, you may get no fats on the ribs = more meat for your buck. P. S. — if you’re going to this place, I advise you not to park on the main streets, you have to pay quarters, however, if you park in the residential side, it’s completely free(it’s only, 5 steps from the main streets).

Food was excellent and décor was very good. Steamed dumplings were alright though as it seemed they were mostly filler and not as much shrimp as I would have liked. The noodles are super melt in your mouth tasty. Beef Bibimbap was super tasty as well. Over all it was a great experience and we will definitely be back.

It’s time for an update. I actually agree with my husband now and love this place. When the place was closed for a while, we had to order from other near by places and nothing was comparable! That is when I realized king hong is so much better~^^ So glad that they are open and running again. Also the place looks much cleaner now after they reopen which is big plus for me.

I love it when people bitch about finding a hair in their food from a Chinese restaurant. Get the fuck over it. It happens in every restaurant in the world. Their food is really good and it’s cheap. They deliver quickly. It’s not overly greasy. And they give you a lot. Probably the best around here except for Baumgart’s. But that’s another level. If you want entirely satisfying Chinese takeout, look no further. And if you find a hair, get over it. Unless it’s short and curly.

Okay this place is really just a hit or miss. Sometimes the chicken I order stays crispy(I always get sauce on the side) while other times it is soggy. If its soggy I just pop it in the oven and it becomes crispy again… but I shouldn’t have to be doing this…

I ordered French fries, vegetable fried rice. Spinach soup and spicy shrimp. Was told total was 35.75 when total should have been 23.00. When I questioned lady why total was so much, she laughed. Placed order around 7:14pm. Food didn’t get delivered until 8:40pm. The French fries was the only good thing I ordered. You would think they put ketchup in the bag, they didn’t. Not to mention the white rice that’s suppose to come with the spicy shrimp wasn’t in the bag. Food had no flavor. Very disappointed with the entire order. Definitely wouldn’t eat there again.

This is THE place for Chinese take out/delivery. The food consistently tastes fresh, clean and not overly greasy(a huge + in my book) My previous spots have been China garden(which have gotten salty over the years) and the one on Bergen Blvd. in Palisades Park(which was awesome until it turned into a buffet) My favorite dishes so far: * beef lo mein * beef & broccoli * kung pao chicken * chicken w/cashews * fried chicken wings Delivery is quick 30 – 35 mins and the lady that takes the order is very pleasant too. not shouting or rushing me for the order. P. S. You know it is something really good when I have my sister(who is not the fondest of Chinese food in general) compliment and crave King Hong’s food.

Fresh and delicious Chinese take out restaurant in this area. I ordered crispy boneless duck with brown sauce, beef with garlic sauce, duck noodle soup, fried wontons… They were all delicious. Vegetable was fresh, meat was tender. Fried wonton was crispy, not greasy. I was sure they use better ingredients and better oil(King hong uses vegetable oil only). My husband mentioned taste is bit blend but I was very satisfied with quality of food. They don’t use MSG, delivers over $ 10.
