Miriam and hubby Dave as well as Shelly make this place great. If you like to feed the birds and/or other local critters, or even just hang around outside, this place is for you. Wide selection of bird feeders: If you are just starting to feed the birds or even if you are a crazy whacked out birder, you will find a feeder that is a good fit for you. Seed: Good selection of HIGHQUALITY seed. That crap you get in the grocery store or the hardware store contains milo(the little red ball shaped seeds). Nothing around here eats that and the birds end up flinging it out of the feeders and it spouts up pretty little weeds around your feeder. Their seed is well rotated, I have never gotten a bad bag. There are plenty of blends to choose from if you prefer that over just a straight bag of black oil sunflower, thistle or safflower. The staff is always willing to help you carry out larger bags of seed. Bird Houses: Yup, they got em and for every type of bird imaginable. They even have some for sports nuts… which i am not so don’t ask me what teams they have =) Meal Worms: Hooray for live meal worms! These little buggers keep my blue birds happy and nesting every year in my bird houses. Its fun to see the little scruffy baby blue birds eat. Outdoor items: chimes, fountains, chairs, gardening stuff, whimsical items like bottle trees and gnomes… sure no problem Lampe Berger: These suckers can get expensive, but that is to be expected for collectors items. I have a cheap one and buy my oils here. They have a very wide range of oils and I always find something new.
